???: "I still can't believe that you're stuck here with me, I thought you didn't want to go to Beacon"

Y/n: "You have that right James, but it's the only way I'm can have a peaceful life without Atlas on my arse"

The two Kenway brothers walked down the Bulkhead landing area. As if the two brothers were two sides of the same coin, both embodied each Kenway of the Assassin Order from hundreds of years ago.

James: "What part of "Hide in Plain Sight" do you not understand Y/n?"

Y/n: "Well excuse the hell out of me, I didn't know that Ozpin could track me that easily"

The two brothers bickered between each other until the bulkhead arrived, Y/n boarded the ship with James right behind his tail. The two waited silently in the bulkhead awaiting arrival to Beacon, Y/n not wanting to be with his overbearing half brother left him alone. He knew that he didn't care for him at all and there wasn't a reason why he'd want him around, Y/n continued to carry a rather hardened face underneath his hood...well, he did until he heard a familiar voice coming his way.

Yang: "Well well well, it looks like we meet again Kenway"

Y/n turned back to see none other than Yang Xiao Long, he smirked under his hood as he walked up to Yang.

Y/n: "It seems like Monty decided to tie us on the same stitch"

???: "Yang! Is this your boyfriend?"

Y/n then turned to see a girl with black hair and red tips, the pirate raised and eyebrow as he turned back to Yang.

Y/n: "Lassie, is this girl your sister?"

Yang looked rather perplexed.

Yang: "Yeah...how'd you know?..."

Y/n looked back at his half-brother who spoke looked upon the bulkhead's window, he turned back to the two girls with his answer.

Y/n: "I was friends with half-siblings before, but this was mainly a hunch than an actual solid conclusion..."

Y/n then brought back that same grin again as he turned to the girl with red tips.

Y/n: "So! What is a little girl like you doin' here in a bulkhead to Beacon?"

???: "W-Well...I-"

Yang then put her half-sister in a headlock.

Yang: "Ruby here went head-on with one of the biggest criminal in Vale! I'm so proud of her!"

Ruby: "Yang! Let go!"

Y/n looked upon a news feed revealing the bowler-hatted crime boss.

Y/n: "You talking about carrot top eh? Bloody hell for a girl you really got a pair on you don't you lass"

Ruby finally recovered from Yang's grip.

Ruby: "Heck yeah I do!"

Ruby then gave a slight pause.

Ruby: "...What does that mean?"

Y/n and Yang held in a laugh horribly as tears started forming, Ruby with a confused and frustrated look squeaked out.

Ruby: "Hey come on! Yaaaaaaannnng what does it mean?!"

Yang: "Oh you'll find out when you're older little sis"

Y/n: "Yeah lassie, and you'll probably find out the hard way"

Then the three of them heard belching from behind as puke started to spill upon the ground.

Ruby: "Ah! Yang! You got puke all over your boot!"

Yang: "Gah! Gross! Get away!"

Y/n backed up a bit as it, it fondly reminded him of the first time he put his hands on the helm of the Sea Blazer

-flashback-

Y/n groaned has he steered the helm of his ship, his face was green and he felt sick to his gut. His quartermaster chuckled as he looked upon his Captain.

QM: "Would you like me to-"

Y/n: "For Oum sakes Miguel I can handle it!"

Miguel: "I think we should set the ship into the waters, the green tint of your skin would help blend in with the seaweed in the ocean floor"

Y/n: "Oh shut yer gob you-"

Y/n cheeks then puffed as he felt the lunch he had in the tavern come back out, he held his mouth as Miguel started to panic as he took the helm.

Miguel: "Off the deck Captain! Off the deck!"

-present day-

Y/n got off the bulkhead after the debacle with Ruby and Yang, their boots trotted along the stone path. The two watched as Ruby gawked at the other students weapons.

Ruby: "Guys! That kid has a collapsible staff! *Gasp!* she's got a fire sword!"

Yang pulled Ruby back by the hood.

Yang: "Easy there little sister, they're just weapons"

Ruby: "Just weapons?! They're an extension of ourselves and a part of us! Oh they're so cool!"

Y/n: "It's the person behind that weapon that truly makes it sing, not the other way around..."

Yang: "Y/n's right Rubes..."

The two sisters chat for a moment, as Y/n looked at the many students about to attend Beacon. Everyone had someone to be with whether it be siblings or friends, all with great dreams and ambitions that they were going to accomplish together.

Yet the sight of this made Y/n unsettled, saddened him even, reminding him of his old crew who were either dead or imprisoned from the life of Piracy. Kenway let the bothering thought go as he turned back to see Ruby next to a bunch of luggage on the ground.

Y/n: "What the devil?..."

Devil indeed, but this time she came in White.

White: "What are you brain dead? Dust!"

She started shaking around a dust vile rather carelessly.

White: "Fire! Water! Lightning! Energy!"

Y/n's yellow eyes gave a glint of anger, he never favored those who were every so pretentious, snobby, and just a straight up bitch in general. His attention went to Ruby who began to crinkle his nose, Y/n immediately backed up and let the show unfold.

Ruby: *Achoo!*

Y/n watched as an explosion of fire, lightning, and ice enveloped, he snickered under his hood as he watched the heiress of the Schnee dust company lose her ever-loving mind.

Weiss: "Unbelievable! This is the exact kind of thing I was taking about!"

Ruby: "I'm really really sorry!"

Weiss: "Ugh! You complete dolt! What are you even doing here?! Aren't you a little too young to be attending Beacon?!"

Y/n didn't want to watch all of that unfold, he went to step in as Ruby spoke up against Weiss.

Ruby: "Hey I said I was sorry Princess!"

???: "It's heiress actually"

Y/n immediately stopped, the voice struck something within his mind. A voice he heard during that final battle, he felt the ocean within his heart grew up a storm as he became absolutely livid. Yet he was able to settle himself as he watched her break up the situation and leave, but Y/n wasn't done with her.

The Assassin blended with the crowd as he stalked the girl clad in black, she then walked away from the crowd and to an empty area of the courtyard. Y/n climbed up a part of the school watching her from a bird's eye view, but then she stopped and then looked up towards him as her eyes widened.

???: "You..."

Y/n: "Damn straight"

Y/n leapt down and landed on the ground his aura breaking his fall, under his hood was a face of seething rage.

Y/n: "Why did that devil send you here..."

???: "Adam didn't send me here, I came on my own terms"

Y/n: "That doesn't answer why..."

Y/n unholstered one of his pistols and aimed it at her.

Y/n: "...A White Fang operative lurking around on this very ground"

???: "I could ask the same for you, Pirate"

Y/n pressed a button on his pistol which glowed red authorizing lethal force.

Y/n: "Quit dodging my fucking question pussy, answer it now before I send you down the River Stix"

The cat faunus sighed as she regained her composure.

???: "I left because I realized what the White Fang has become, I didn't want that for myself, nor did I want that for the innocent people that suffer for it. Both human and faunus alike..."

Y/n didn't know what to say as he hesitated to pull the trigger.

???: "I know you don't believe me, in fact I don't really care. I know who I am, and I won't let the past hinder me to make a better future for myself"

Y/n continued to hesitate, but eventually he lowered his gun. He slid it back into its holster and turned back.

Y/n: "Damn you, Blake Belladonna"

Blake POV

Never thought I'd see Captain Kenway again, especially here enrolling in Beacon. I remembered our last encounter we had before this, before I left the White Fang. I just wonder what Kenway is doing here, why would he enroll as a student let alone be allowed to?

Third POV

Y/n walked down the halls of Beacon as he slouched a bit, he then felt a hand grab his arm dragging him to a seat.

James: "Where have you been?"

Y/n: "That's none of your bloody business, James"

James groaned as he rolled his eyes.

James: "You really are getting into that stupid Pirate accent did you"

Y/n: "Well it happens when you are patrolled most of your time in the UK, I thought a smart-talking arsehole like you would know that..."

James: "Oh for the love of...never mind, let's just wait for the assembly..."

Y/n: "First good idea you had so far James..."

Y/n looked upon the crowd as they started to settle down, he never thought that he would be enrolling in such a prestigious school like this. Usually an average huntsman-in-training would just be dying to take his place...yet in his eyes, all it reminded him was how alone he was now. He only hopes of getting out of here soon, so that he could go back to the only home he has known: The Sea Blazer.
