Chapter Nine

Quick A\N

This scene is about two weeks after the last chapter, and Destiny, Tess, Aimme and Luna have moved in with the rest of the group. P.S. If anyone has wondered where I have been, I was to busy to write, as I got a new job bussing tables at a pizzaria, at the age of 12! How cools that!? OK, I'll be quiet now. Baiis! Read on!

Destiny's POV

"Hey, Kat?" I asked walking into the living room of the tree. She wasn't there. "Kat?" I called out. No awnser. I'm beginning to worry. I haven't seen or heard word of her for three days now! I walked into her room. She wasn't there. Stampy's room. She wasn't there. Markipliers room. Not here. Pewdiepie's room. Nope. Jackcepticeye. Nope. I was about to look out side when, suddenly, I heard a scream. Kat's scream!

It was coming from above. I quickly ran up the wooden stairs, hand quickly swiping over the railing. By the time I reached the sixth floor, *tall tree* my hand was covered in splinters. I could of cared less. I quickly began to check the hall. The scream ended a while ago, and the tree house was, strangely, dead silent. Since we didn't have electricity here in this world, it was also very dark. I slowly crept along the floor, every step taken was echoed by a faint creaking sound. The house was completely still, all except for the creaking, my heavy, frightened breaths, and the low howl of the wind out side.

As I slowly made my way down the empty hall, it seemed to get colder. And colder and colder until it felt like I would get frost bitten. The hall had only two ways to go, with only one door. The first way was the door, which was at the end of the hall, and back the way I had come. No turning back now. This was the floor her scream came from, and it sounded full of pain and misary. I was at the door, hand slowly reaching for the door handle. My hand grasped it. It was cold to the touch. I slowly opened the door a few inches and poked my head through, peering inside. Stairs. More stairs? How tall is this tree? *very tall* I opened the door more and began walking up.

I entered a dark room with a single window, streamers casting dancing shadows in the light of the moon. I looked out of the window and saw a girl with silver hair, two long swords, and a black dress. She was facing away from me, perfectly in line with the moon. All I could do was stare. She seemed frozen in time and space, but then, unexpectedly, I sneezed, causing the girl to turn slightly and take a glance at me. I looked back at her as she offered a little smile. "Hiya, Destiny," she said in a slightly cheery voice. "Who are you?" I said, wondering how she knew my name. "Its me, Kat, this is what I look like when exposed to a full moon," she said pulling me up onto the roof and pointing to the moon. Even though its glow seemed minimal, it made a rush of calmness go through my entire body. "So, like a warewolf, or vampire?" I asked, thinking about what she said. "I guess, except a lot of them are just barking up the wrong tree! Those suckers!" Kat joked. I laughed. She slurred the words barking and suckers. I decided to go back to bed, as it was the middle of the night. Kat made me promise not to tell anyone about her moon form, which I learned, she called Skyra. It was fun to have a secret!
