CeCe's POV

"So, um, are you okay? Your paw seems to be bleeding," Shane said as he took my paw, which was indeed bleeding, into his clawed hand. I shifted uncomfortably and glanced at his claws before looking back up at his face.

" Y-Yeah, um, I-I'm fine....." I said nervously. He seemed to notice the main problem, which was the fact that he was a giant griffin and I'm a small cat.

"Oh! Um, sorry, here," he said as he took a step back and began to glow. I just watched in shock as the griffin transformed into a human. He stopped glowing and I got a good look at him. He was tall. Very tall. His hair was a dirty blonde, and he had the most beautiful deep blue eyes. He walked forward again and picked me up with ease.

"You're a hybrid!?" I said shocked. Don't see many of us around anymore. He nodded at me as he began to walk away from the badger as it slightly regained consciousness.

"Yeah, and you seem like one yourself," he said with a childish laugh. I blushed slightly. I don't know why. I guess I'm just a bit embarrassed for being saved and now carried. I don't know how this guy got here when he did, but I'm glad about it.
