Chapter 2: Narration
I know this chapter is short but all good narrations in movies are. We like to let the story play out I just needed to sprinkle in a way for the sides to learn about their roles.
A voice echoed in the sides minds almost like a narration for a Disney movie.
"In the Rosa Eden Kingdom, King Thomas sits above it all."
Thomas could hear the voice as he sat in the head chair in the advisory meeting. He nodded as if he was paying attention to the meeting but in reality this thoughts were focused on the narrator.
"Of course a king must always have their most trusted knight. Roman had once been a peasant and in search of power became a knight. He's been by Thomas's side for years always yearning for a bit more than what he has."
Thomas watched Roman frown in confusion at this. They locked eyes for a moment and shared their confusion.
"Royal advisor Logan has been a part of Thomas's court even longer than the knight. Since childhood it was clear Logan was gifted with knowledge. His slight magic aided him learn about the world around him and helped him protect his king."
Thomas smiled to Logan who was nodding along with the narration. It seemed they were learning who they played in this world.
"Who could leave out the servants of the castle? We join the personal servants of Knight Roman and Sir Logan out in the town. Patton a childhood friend of Roman's, a man with a big heart and smile, and Virgil who took up studying magic with Logan."
Virgil who stood behind Patton in the market place shivered as he heard that magic was a thing in this universe. Patton didn't seem to be worrying about narration in his head he was happily talking with the stand clerk asking for a button set he saw on the stand. Virgil found it funny that he immediately tried to buy jewelry is the market place. The narrator seemed to stop speaking to them. The story had begun.
