Everything was going pretty normal, maleficent had yet to do some grand challenge. That would probably leave people on edge. Usually when she doesn't do anything, something terrible happens.
Suddenly, a kidnapped random person stumbled into the room. A majority of their body was turned into stone. Frantically, they grasped onto someone (the person they grab is an important role. Just say if you want it). They were trembling, barely able to get any words out. "the disease. . ." They gasped for breath. "it's here." With that, they completely turned into stone. A statue in place. Suddenly, they crumbled into dust. Their ashes were swept away.

Just then, the doors in the main room slammed shut and locked. Maleficents face appeared on the screen. "usually I have something planned, I guess I don't have to do anything this time. Have fun in quarantine." She smirked. She snapped her fingers and the room changed. It was still the main room, but around them were glass cells. Basically jail cells, but with glass instead of bars. She grinned. "you could always just lock people up in one of those though. Maybe it'll stop the disease." The TV then faded to black.
The person who was touched? Their fingertips slowly became stone.

Notes:
Everyone is now stuck basically. No, you can't escape. You're forced to suffer through sappy sentimental conversations between ships.

Whoever was touched is now infected. The disease isn't extremely quick, it'll turn you to stone and then dust. You'll then "die" and turn into ashes. The people who "die." Really are just teleported to a different room.

You can try and come up with an antidote, but you'll probably fail.

Yes, you can lock people in the cells. You can go with them if you want.

The disease can be spread through touch, that will cause it to be put into effect a little quicker. It's also airborne, but it takes longer for the effects to happen.
