It has been 2 years since Zoe and Percy have moved to New York and since then, Percy has successfully avoided Olympus and the gods, other than Apollo, Poseidon, who was very happy to know that he has a grandchild, Hestia, she visits every now and then, and surprisingly Artemis, who became good friends with Zoe to the point of calling her mom. It surprised both Artemis and Percy, although Percy was asking not to be turned into an animal while Artemis just laughed. Percy and Artemis have grown closer together to the point of going out on Mondays and Fridays, and somehow none of the Olympians know about that. Not even Aphrodite.

"How come you two are dating an nobody knows about it, not even me" Aphrodite complained

"Because we weren't technically dating at the time, but now we are" Perseus said guessing what was coming up in this chapter, happy that it was his the time he official asked Artemis out.

"When will I see mom again?" Zoe asked her father

Percy almost did a spit take with his blue colored cola.

"What?" Percy asked setting his drink down.

"When will I see mom again" Zoe repeated

"This Friday I believe," Percy replied not even bothering to correct her

"There's no point in it as I had tried countless times before" Perseus exasperated, as Zeus and Ares flashed back in, hoping the angry Sally has had enough time to cool off.

"You didn't correct me this time," Zoe stated

Percy sighed

"Sometimes I forget that you are actually 10," Percy said, "you act as if you are 12 or 13"

"That's because I'm not a stupid boy like you were" Zoe taunted her father

"You do know me being a boy has nothing to do with it, right Zo" Perseus asked his daughter

"Yes, but it is something the wonderful lady who I got my name from would say" Zoe stated back to which, those that knew Zoë Nightshade nodded in agreement

Zoe just stuck out her tongue at her father and then an Olympian flashed in.

"Zoe cover you ears for what I'm about to say" Percy said without turning around.

"Zoe Cover your ears" Perseus and Arty stated, much to the displeasure of Zoe because she wanted to know what her father said

"You might want to cover your ears too, Lady Hestia and mom" Perseus said as an add on, which the two ladies did.

Zoe did as she was told while Percy got up and turned around.

"What the fuckin' Hades do you want slut!" Percy shouted at the love goddess, "Don't you even care that I have a 10 year old in my apartment?!"

"She won't say a thing about our meeting to anyone" Aphrodite said, to which Artemis chuckled and continued to read

"She won't say a thing about this meeting to anyone," Aphrodite replied, "I'll make sure of it."

To emphasize his point he brought out Maelstrom and put the sword to her neck.

"Fine, but just wait till I tell Zeus the hero of Olympus has a daughter," The goddess said.

"You tell him and your children won't have their mother nor their powers"

"You wouldn't" Aphrodite said shocked, fearing more so for her children that will become motherless.

"try me" Perseus said, and Aphrodite dropped low into her throne, trying to get as far away from the assassin as possible

Aphrodite then backed away and flashed to her palace.

"Wow," someone said, making Percy turn around, "I was hoping she'd show up and then you threaten to make her fade."

"Well she wanted me to do things with her that any ten year old should never see" Perseus said, and motioned that it was ok for his daughter, Hestia, and mom to remove their hands from their ears

"Hello Arty," Percy said, "I thought that you'd be here Friday. It's Wednesday"

"I wanted to give Zoe something as an early birthday present," Artemis replied with a soft smile

"Mom!" Zoe shouted seeing Artemis

Artemis laughed as she turned into her 33 year old form,

"Hello my little Archer," Artemis said, happy that she's getting to know her own daughter, "How are you doing?"

"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT" Zeus and Apollo shouted

"That's who your mother is? Impossible you are too beautiful to be her daughter" Aphrodite said, denying what was written in the story they were reading. 

"well you heard the story, Zoe is my daughter" Arty said, taking hold of her daughter, and placing herself between her daughter, and the combo of her father and twin, not sure how they would react.

Zeus and Apollo just started seething in rage, not doing anything as they sensed that Poseidon, both Artemis's and Perseus were all ready for battle with the two, if they tried anything.

"Good," Zoe replied, "are you going to go out tonight dad?"

"Might as well," Percy said before turning to Artemis, "do you think that Thalia would like to watch Zoe?"

"I would always love to go and babysit my niece, especially if it means keeping her away from stupid boys" Thals said, looking at her cousin

"you hurt me, Thals, right here" Perseus said pointing at his own heart

Artemis nodded and said, "let me go get her"

She then flashed away and a few minutes later, appeared with Thalia.

"Aunt Thalia!" Zoe said when she saw her "Aunt", "Are you going to watch me while mom and dad go out?"

"That's usually the case when I have to watch you isn't it" Thals said looking at her niece

"well, sometimes mom and dad are doing other things" Zoe said, drawing a blush from both of her parents

Before Percy could say anything Thalia turned to Artemis saying, "I never knew you and Perce were married. Does dad know about this?"

"Obviously I don't otherwise the sea spawn would be dead" Zeus stated

"Don't you even dare, Brother"Hestia spat out, making Zoë Nightshade's use of boy seem like a compliment, "I am tired of you threatening to kill our own family members simply because they irritate you in the slightest way, because if that were true and the rest of could do the same without punishment, the only demigod sons you had that would make it to adulthood would have been Perseus and Jason Grace, because of me alone. So, you better not touch another one of my nephews or nieces, unless you want me to take away all hope from Olympus" she finished mad that her brother truly has been destroying and threatening to destroy the family for many millennia.

"Am I not the only one surprised that Zeus hasn't run Olympus into the ground" Perseus said, to which all of Zeus's siblings, half of his children, and most of the demigods raised their hands in agreement with Perseus

"Shut up Thals" Percy told her before giving a slight chuckle, "next you'll be saying I slept with her."

"But you did" Thals said

"I know that now, but I didn't then" Perseus said

"Ironic though that you said it" Percy said looking at his other self

"Just like the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise, or do you all not have star wars here" Perseus said

(AN: I was watching episode three when i wrote this part)

"Who is this Darth Plagueis the wise, I would like to test his wisdom" Athena said to which her children facepalmed

"Look mom, Darth Plagueis is a character from a story franchise called Star Wars, he doesn't technically exist" Annabeth said on behalf of her siblings

Oh Percy, Artemis thought, if only you knew

"You ready?" Artemis asked as Percy nodded

"Yeah let me just get changed and we'll leave," Percy said, "oh and Thals. Same rules as last time. Bed by 9:00 and she like the story of the titan's curse"

"What's that" Malcolm asked

"It's what we call my third quest where Arty here needed to bee rescued from thee sky, and I took on the Titan's curse for a time" Perseus answered

"I remember," Thalia replied, "just don't do anything that Aphrodite would do."

"She would do anything so that means do nothing" Percy said looking at the goddess

"I wouldn't do anything" Aphrodite defended

"So you wouldn't scar a ten year old child by forcing intercourse upon their unwilling father" Perseus questioned, but the goddess remained silent giving away her answer

Artemis blushed and Percy went into his room to change. When he walked out, he was in a dark navy blue tux with a black tie.

"You ready Mi'Lady?" Percy asked Artemis

"You refer to gods by their title" some of the demigods asked shocked that Perseus would be formal with a god

"Only those who are worthy, like Arty, my father, and Hestia" Perseus defended to which most of the demigods had to concede on that point, as they considered the latter two worthy

"Yes I am," Artemis replied as they both entered the elevator, "Where are we going tonight?"

"A very expensive restaurant," Percy replied smiling, "and before you protest, it's because you're my friend Arty and you've given my daughter a mother figure to look up to, so think of this as a way of saying thank you."

"I am her mother though Perce" Arty said

"Yeah she is my mom dad" Zoe added on for her mother

"How was I suppose to know when she didn't tell me" Perseus defended, but the look from the goddess and his daughter said he should have been smart enough to figure it out.

Artemis smiled at him and when she saw the car that they were taking, said, "Where in the world did you get this?"

"I got it in an auction a few years back and now I use it whenever I go out with friends," Percy replied, coming up with a lie in a split second.

Artemis looked at him, as they entered the car, and said, "I know that you're lying Perce"

"You always know when I'm lying" Perseus complained

"Fine. I might've had a couple of flings in London," Percy replied, "they were just 1st dates and some 2nd dates which didn't workout at all. I figured that I'd try and move on"

Artemis nodded, waited a few seconds and said, "That's good. Um...Percy?"

"Yes?" he asked as they entered the parking lot to an expensive restaurant

"I'm...never mind," Artemis replied

"You were going to tell me weren't you" Perseus whispered to Arty

"Yeah, but I was scared as to how you would react and I didn't want to ruin the night" Arty responded back to him

Percy raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything.

"Did you suspect me" Arty asked

"I knew it was something important, but the whole being my daughter's mother wasn't that high on the suspect list. I honestly thought it was a new prophecy that your brother said, and it involved me" Perseus responded

"Well here we are," Percy said as he got out of the car.

they then walked up to the doors of the restaurant and Percy said, "I made aa reservation under the name Jackson"

"Right this way Mr. and Mrs. Jackson" the person at the front said

Artemis looked at Percy and saw that he was a bit red on his face and felt sure that she was as well.

"You were" Perseus said remembering the night, which just seemed to cause his girlfriend to blush

"Well, let's go," Percy said before they started walking towards their table, "thank you sir

"You're welcome Mr. Jackson"

Percy pulled out Artemis' chair and she sat down, with Percy sitting down across from her.

"Order whatever you'd like," Percy told her, "I'm buying"

Once they ordered their food, Artemis said, "you tricked me didn't you Percy?"

"What did you order" Aphrodite asked, "Please tell me something romantic"

"Nah we just both order a nice steak" Arty answered, which seemed to piss off Aphrodite

"Steak is not a romantic dinner, and anyone who says other wise is lying" she fumed, much to the enjoyment of others

"I have no idea what you mean," Percy replied innocently

"Why did you really bring me out here?" Artemis asked Percy

"Because I love you and didn't know how to tell you without having the fear of being turned into a jackalope or something" Perseus said

"I knew that you'd say no right to my face if I asked you out and so I decided that I'd trick you," Percy answered, "I'm sorry for that"

"No you aren't" Arty said, "You just wanted to go out on date with me, without asking me out on date"

"So you wanted to ask me out, but you were scared that I'd reject and instead tricked me into a date" Artemis said with slight amusement, "you do know that we've been dating for 1 year right?"

"Well yes, but only as friends," Percy replied, "and I was hoping if you'd become my girlfriend"

"yes," Artemis said, surprising him, "also I think that I should tell you who the mother of your daughter is"

"Who?" Percy asked

"I'll tell you in 2 years," Artemis replied, "after all you did make us all promise to claim the demigods by the time they were 13 correct?"

" I should have known when you said that" Perseus said

"Yeah you should have, but it was like what 12 years or more since that day" Percy said and asked, to which Perseus nodded

Percy nodded and said, "You are correct. I just hope that you don't lie to me."

"I wouldn't lie to you about our daughter" Arty said, "unless she killed some annoying boy that was bothering her, then I would lie"

"Yea at least something didn't change with me across the alternate universe" Artemis said

"Are you sure about that" Arty said causing Artemis to blush a little and instantly start reading the book again.

"I swear on the river styx that in 2 years time, you will know the real mother of your daughter" Artemis said, "now let's eat"

After they ate, the two of them talked a bit more and then paid for their food.

"I had a fun nightPercy," Artemis said when they got into the car.

"Me too," Percy replied smiling as he started the car

When they arrived at his apartment, Artemis said, "Why did you become an assassin?"

"Yeah why did you" Athena asked, thinking she could use this as away to separate her daughter and Percy

"Geez have some patience sister, I'm sure it will come up" Artemis said, glaring at Athena, before continuing with the reading.

"Thalia told you huh?"

Artemis nodded as Percy sighed

"because it was...a choice" Percy replied looking her dead in the eye, "I wanted to do something that I was trained to do. So I joined my Uncle's Brotherhood in London and I was a decent Assassin"

"It's just that being one of them doesn't suit you" Artemis said

"I understand," Percy replied, "It's just after all that's happened to me since I was 12..."

He trained off making Artemis nod

"I understand Percy" she replied

"Anyone want to read that isn't the Stolls" Artemis asked

"Why does" Conor started

"no one want" Travis continued

"Either of us to read" They finished together

"Because you would either lie about it, making it more epic, or you will do your terrible impressions of everyone" Annabeth responded to which everyone nodded

"I want to hear their impression of me" Zoe said, before everyone, even her father and mother, not including the Stolls obviously, told her she doesn't

"Come on please" the Stolls asked

"No" Artemis said, before giving the book off to Zoe

"Do I have to mom" Zoe asked

"Yes you do dear" Arty replied staring her daughter down, who acted much like her father in his youth at times when it came to reading.
