You wake up one fateful morning in your home of sorts, the Apollo cabin. Today it a sunny day with hardly any clouds in the sky as usual, cause of the spell protecting Camp Half-Blood from bad weather. You blow a strand of your brown hair out of your face and reach for your glasses. You can't see that well without them, as much as they bother you. Some other Apollo kids are already getting dressed so you slip out of your bunk and put on some clothes. You head out the door, not wanting to be late for breakfast. You head to the dining area only to be stopped by your friend Leo. "Hey Maia." He says casually. You stick your tongue it at him playfully. "Where's Mr.Humorous today?" You tease. You both laugh as you walk together to breakfast. Of course you have to sit at the Apollo table but you keep glancing over at Leo. He looks especially cute today with his unbrushed hair and grungy Camp Half-Blood T-shirt. Then another Apollo kid nudges you and says "Hey, Earth to Maia! It's almost time for archery." That jolts you to your senses. You wolf down your breakfast and run back to the cabin to get your bow and arrow. That bow is your prime we pond and it seems to bring you good luck, and a good aim. Then you race to archery class. You get there just in time, and class begins. Class goes as usual. You pierce the target with every shot and even making a bulls eye half the time. Near the end of class you see Leo and your friend Carmen standing to the side. When the see that your looking their way, Leo gives you a thumbs up and Carmen shoots you a tired smile. The poor girl had to put up with other Aphrodite kids who are nothing like her and tease her constantly.  You smile back and get back to your practice. You draw your bow, making sure your arrow lines up with the target and you let go. The arrow flies and hits a perfect bulls eye in the target. Your friends cheer as class ends in a success. The rest of the day goes smoothly but without a sign of Leo. Carmen assures you that he is just busy but you begin to worry. At the end of the day you finally spot him and you walk over. "Where have you been Leo Valdez! Ive been looking for you every where!" you question. But he responds evasively "Just stuff." and he walks over to the Hephaestus table for dinner.
