*Later that evening Y/N got the letter from his butler that he found outside the door. He was curious as to who brought it. Ruby was sitting on the floor by the couch drinking a shake happily as her tail wags slowly. Y/N try calling Lisa only she told him she had a interview so she couldn't come to hang out that day. She seek the journalist job to write reports on the things unexplainable like the carnival case. Who started the fire, the buzzard deaths and missing people. All of that was consider a close case after all some people don't believe in the unbelievable. Now Y/N sits with a puzzle expression holding the letter with a seal that can only be done by royalty. The problem was he knew exactly who it was sent from and he didn't like it not one bit. His parents live a wealthy life so they easily could afford anything their son needed, a car, school, toys, money, anything. But Y/N grew tire of that.

He wanted to do something for himself even fall in love with someone he chose to be with, however his parents thought his ideal of a woman was poor in taste. And that they only wanted him happy. “Why work when you have it all” they quoted. That's mainly why Y/N move out. He pay for the mansion and hire those who needed work to work under him and pay a fair amount of money depending on the task they had. Now he sits in his living room with an invitation to a ball. He could bring any guest of his choosing and of course dress occurring to the theme. So something fancy and inviting. He look to Ruby thinking she might enjoy something like that, but she didn't own anything from the looks of it that could be fancy or inviting. So he decide to take her out shopping. He stood up and looks to her.*

Y/N: Come on Ruby,” he tuck the letter in his pocket. “We're going shopping.”

Ruby: Shopping,” Ruby looks up with sparkly blue eyes.

Y/N: yeah,” Y/N nod.

Ruby: yeaaaa,” ruby cheers happily as she get up to hug him.

*Forgetting about her demon strength she hug him tightly. Y/N grits his teeth in pain as he pat her head.*

Y/N: Ye...yeah just don't kill me,” he wince.

Ruby: ohh ruby sorry,” Ruby let go worry.

*Y/N sighs and stretches.*

Y/N: don't worry about it,” he smiles. “Now let's go.”

Ruby: Hai,” ruby cheers.

*One of Y/N maidens help freshen ruby up so she wears a green dress with yellow bows in her hair and green stockings along with small pumps that are blue. Ruby love her little makeover. She even had her hair down fluffy over her shoulders. Y/N wore his casual clothes out as he fix his cuff and a butler hand him his jacket to wear over it. He walk over to the door and smiles as Ruby walk follow behind. As they exited the mansion a limbo awaited them out front. Ruby eyes widen with excitement as she looks to it. Y/N only chuckle at her child like behavior as he walk over and the driver open the door for him. Stepping inside he smiles and Ruby climbs in. Her ears perk up listening and hearing everything around them as her tail swooshes around.*

Driver: Lord Y/N we shall commence with heading to your destination,” the driver said taking his seat and preparing the car.

Y/N: thank you,” Y/N pull the letter out his pocket and look it over again.

*As Y/N was looking it over he could remembered the last time he talk with his parents. It was about a few years back when he was moving out. They were trying to convinced him to stay, but by trying so hard they were actually pushing him away more. Now Y/N is practically a young man who's in his young adult years. Y\N didn't realize he was spacing out till he saw ruby bouncing in her seat. Looking up he was relieved to see they made it to the mall.*

Ruby: Look Y/N look,” she point excitedly.

Y/N: I see,” he smiles as the driver pull up to the parking lot finding a spot clear.

*shortly the driver step out to get the door for Y/N before you follow after him out the limbo.*

Y/N: this should take no more than 15 minutes,” he said fixing his cuff.

Driver: of course sir,” the driver bows politely to him.

Y/N: come ruby time awaits us,” he smiles as he steps forth.

Ruby: Okay,” Ruby follows after him taking his hand.

*the two then enter the mall and the rose aisles of cloths, accessories and more were ready for any shoppers to buy. Y/N looks to Ruby and smile.*

Y/N: Now Ruby stay close okay,” Y/N said as he needed the hyper girl to listen to him. “I don't want you getting lost or hurt.”

Ruby: okay,” she nods holding his graze.

*Satisfied Y/N lead her to one of the rooms to pick out dresses, for her outfit. Ruby was stung by the beautiful dresses all on racks. Y/N look to ruby lead ruby to one of the employees to get measurements. After that they learn ruby was a height of 5ft and between 90 to 100 pounds. With that in mind they search for cloths that would fit to something that height and with her being lightweight she needn't worry about the clothes being tight to her form. Ruby found cloths she like, but Y/N didn't deem them the right wear to a ball as grand the one his parents prepare. Searching a bit more he pick out a spring camellia- rare, with marine flower-epic and swaying willow-rare (flats with green and red lining on the edges of the shoe), however was cover by the long dress. Ruby looks speechless, but the fun was only beginning. He bought the cloths and took her to the next ide which consist of jewelry. There he bought ruby auspicious pendant that remain her of bells, a butterfly flower that was design to look like a butterfly to the side in the form of a choker.

And with this he pay the owner and soon they were on the way out the store. Ruby ask could they have ice cream, but Y/N didn't want to risk her getting a mess and told her if she behave well for the ball then he'll let her have plenty. Really excited Ruby agree to his terms. She never been to a ball before thus found Y/N very kind for inviting her. Once they got home Y/N had the maidens give ruby a bath before dressing her in her new cloths for the occasion while he went to change himself. After about 30 minutes pass ruby hair was done and dress for the occasion. Her hair was done in a tranquil way in which a long ponytail which two ribbons from the top back of her head to the one forming the ponytail. (To describe better think of neji hairstyle only with a few tweets for a girl hairstyle) they also added fall of fresh dew to her hair which gave her a elegant and pure approach. When the maiden's lead her down to their lord Ruby thought Y/N look silly wearing his tie and suit and well a tex too. She didn't meet a lot of men in such wears thus came to the conclusion this was of importance to Y/N. Looking over to Ruby he smiles seeing her.

She look so young yet appear to have a new aspect to her. Sure she was the same child like girl, but wearing these clothes gave her more of a elegant and pure maiden appearances. Nodding his head in approval the maidens return to their day duties as Ruby wanted to be careful for Y/N in these clothes he bought her. Checking the time there were still some time before the ball about 20 minutes or so. Already it was getting closer to evening and so Y/N thought to use this time to teach Ruby about manners and all the things that a proper lady should know before a ball. Taking her hand in his he lead her to the kitchen where the butlers and maidens help prepare the next excise. Now this exercise call for ruby to eat like a proper lady. That meant no stuffing her mouth full of food or slurping. She was a lady and ladies use their hands to gently and gracefully cut at their food. Or they lift their pinky when sipping tea or coffee. And she must delicate and dainty. She was quite clumsy however and was no swam only when she transform was she.

But after several tries Y/N deem her ready enough. And with little to 5 minutes left they headed out once more. Opening the door for her Y/N smiles and help ruby in as Ruby thank him. Once in Y/N follow after her and smiles shutting the door behind. The driver got in and follow Y/N instruction on the letter on where to go. Y/N felt a bit more relax with you dress the part however his mother and father had always been quick to judge based off of actions. He wonder if anything had happened what would happen to Ruby? With her personality she gave off a more childlike presence however if people found out she was demon his mother might faint while his father hire a priest to try and get rid of her.

Beginning to feel nervous Y/N dab a napkin over his forehead as Ruby notice his uneasiness before hugging him. She wasn't sure what he was nervous about, but thought it was simply adult stuff so didn't  understand. After hugging Y/N she pull back to look up to him as he pets her gently and her tail wags.*

Y/N: Thanks Ruby,” Y/N felt a bit calmer now.

Ruby: you're very welcome,” she smiles over to him.

*The ride was quite peaceful as Y/N begins to explain to ruby a little bit of his parents. They were wealthy people and were quite prideful to some degree. They often sought out the most expressive and rare items for they thought if you have the wealth there was no shame in flaunting it. Soon they arrive around 7:45 at the address on the envelope. Stepping out the driver came and open the door for them. Y/N step out and help ruby after. When ruby look up to the place her eyes fill with admiration. The mansion they arrive at was beyond anything she seen. Y/N wasn't too expressive, but he could understand ruby state of shock seeing it.*

Y/N: welcome Ruby to my family lands,” he gesture to the large building. “This is my family mansion.”

Ruby: it's amazing,” ruby spoke as she shook her head of stars.

Y\N: yes..,” Y/N nods before taking her hand and leading her over to the grand mansion in it's finest of glories.

*Tall pillars held the high structures of the manor up painted in enriched colors such as gold, white and brown. Om the outside the walls and pillars were coated in a creamy white with gold decoration design to look like vines as the roof was brown. Inside however was another tale. Y/N gave the men at the front the letter to show they did received an invitation to it. Once check they were let in Y/N looks down to ruby and chuckle seeing a bright smile spread from her lips.*
