*it was another fine day. Y/N started the day with a cup of coffee and newspaper. Ruby as hyper as any other day heading downstairs after her morning exercise of brushing her teeth and washing her face before taking a wash up or shower. And sometimes baths. As Ruby heads downstairs she looks to Y/N who reads and sips coffee.*

Y/N: morning,” he says without looking up.

Ruby: good morning Y/N Ruby hungry, ” she saids reaching for a biscuit on the pan.

Y/N: what's new,” he mutter flipping to the next page.

*Ruby was about to eat the biscuit when she notice the sausage and bacon having second thoughts. Y/N look up feeling ruby was too quiet when he sees her having a plate of meat. Just meat, nothing but meat and a biscuit. Y/N sat his newspaper down.*

Y/N: Ruby put some back,” he told her.

Ruby: but Y/N,” Ruby wine as she frown.

*before she had a chance to argue Y/N clap his hands and Ruby went stiff. Her fur fizz up and Y/N said once more to put some away and so ruby did. Finding this trick more useful Y/N then gets to making a list of chores for her. Once done Y/N hands ruby the list of chores for her to do while he goes to enjoy some alone time. Ruby looks at the list. It wasn't too long just long enough to keep her busy till afternoon for her to finish the list and goes to repot to Y/N that she clean the house.

Back to Y/N

while Ruby was busy Y/N was in his room on the phone with Lisa.  As he spoke on the phone for maybe an 1hr or 30 minutes ruby was finishing with the dishes thinking to fix Y/N tea when she heard his faint voice upstairs. Putting the tea tray down she goes to investigate Ruby was wondering should she knock then thought  she might detract Y/N from what sounded like a serious conversation. Ruby then lend on the door curiosity getting the best of her as she hears Y/N yapping about something like “

Y/N:anytime,” Y/N says. “I should be done soon, with our luck she'll be sleeping for awhile. Okay. I'll see you soon.

*Ruby gasp as she steps back. Was Y/N planning a crime. Did he have her do all those chores just to stop her from calling the cops? Was….was Y/N not the good guy she wanted to believe. Snap out of her thoughts Y/N door handle starts to jerk a bit as he was opening it. Ruby without question rush downstairs to the couch lay down and cover herself to make it look like she was sleep terrified if Y/N knew she was awake what might he do to her. Y/N walks out putting his phone in his pocket as he looks over to the couch seeing Ruby laying there to which he thinks she's asleep. Giving a quick sigh of relief while Ruby tries her hardest to play dead as Y/N goes to the kitchen.

While Ruby trying to think of a plan the doorbell was heard and Y/N goes to answer carrying his jacket with a large eagle on the back. Opening the door Y/N is greeted by Lisa wearing a black jacket over a white dress with black heels and a purse in hand. They hug before she kiss Y/N's cheek gently and pull back while Y/N place the jacket on and they head out. Hearing the door close and lock ruby jolts up scare. She rush to the window to watch the two get into Lisa car as Ruby notice a glitter of something shiny. Already more getting over head of herself ruby starts to image whatever Lisa could do with that silver whatcha call it is. It could be a gun and she could be setting up Y/N to… Just the thought made her fur stand up.

Ruby couldn't let someone as nice as Y/N even if he wasn't all nice all the time that still gave no reason to leave him defenseless against the cold world. Putting as much bravery she could muster ruby use her claws to quickly unlock the front door and making sure not to get notice she shapeshift into a raven as she follow the car of Lisa forgetting about the door as a servant corrected her mistake. As Ruby flew after the car to keep track she had to make it seem she wasn't following and she occasionally stop on a tree or branch to pretend to be normal.

Y/N and Lisa's view

*Y/N steers the car with the steering wheel as Lisa sits in the passage side as she occasionally notice a black bird in the back mirror. She then fix it so Y/N could see out it too.*

Lisa: is it me or is that bird following us,” she query.

Y/N: yeah..odd,” Y/N sped up as Lisa turn to him.

Lisa: are you sure your friend is okay with staying home,” she smiles kindly.

Y/N: trust me she can't possibly get into much trouble I left her in my doctor's care,” Y/N flash a grin to her.

Back at Y/N masion's.

*The doctor was let in and unfortunately could not find ruby. Wondering if Y/N change his mind on short notice he hurry off to the next patient on his list.*

*Flying after the car got tiring till they turn a corner and enter into a lot. Ruby just landed on one of the power lines as she tilt her head in curiosity wondering what's all the fuss. She then lift her head to see a caravel upahead and loads of colorfully arrays of lights. Ruby felt chills hearing the omiss song play throughout the caravel making her feathrrs stick out a bit. Remembering her reason for being There Ruby flies around to find Y/N. After a while of flying she finds him playing one of those mini games with Lisa as she stood to his side. Y/N seem happy playing, but if what ruby thought was true, this was nothing, but a disillusion. Ruby land between 2 tents as she change back to her human form with cat ears and tail. Y/N smiles as he tries to hit the wrack a moe. As Ruby thinks about getting close she was startle by a tall guy on sticks like shoes. Her fur spike up as she jumps when he approach. Looking down at the little girl hiding between two tents the man lend down with a smile.*

???: why hello there little one,” he got on one knee as he lower hinself a little to Ruby.

*Ruby backs away from him attempting to run when he gently grip her tail as she yelp stopping.*

Ruby: hey let go,” Ruby bare her teeth as she gears a bit unease.

???: my my what small teeth you have,” he then pick her up hold her by the tail. “I'm sure the boss can find some use for you.”

*Ruby  gasp as she starts to kick and squirm calling for Y/N, but he didn't notice them or heard. Ruby was then taken to a large tent by the man. He duck down as he walk in. Ruby squirming and clawing to be let go got her nowhere when the man brought her to this chubby guy. He was big and wore fancy cloths such as a purple vest; cloak and type of pinkish purple for the pants. He had pointy hair, blonde and two mustaches that stood out black like ick. His beady-eyed self has blue eyes and a snarl as mean as any bulldog. He turn to face them with a grin as he held a whip in hand.*

???: What do you bring me now Alex,” the man smiles.

Alex: I found madam outside with no one,” He held out Ruby who kept trying to bite him and claw.

???: hmm what's this a neko,” the man query as he exams the girl.

Alex: I figure she could be of some help to the show,” Alex said.

???: perhaps,” he says. “But what can she do?! We have plenty of wild Neko's to train.”

Ruby: who you calling wild,” Ruby hiss softly. “First things first I'm not a neko I'm a demon! Second I'm a shapeshifter. And third of all let me go!”

???: Oh a demon shapeshifter you say,” the man smile widen.

Ruby: that's right,” Ruby yelp as she was drop on her back.

???: Show me,” he rub his leather gloved hands together.

Ruby: no,” ruby said. “I have to find Y/N.”

*Ruby tail frizzy up due to her being tense and she starts to walk towards the exit. When she realize she wasn't going anywhere she look back to see the man holding her tail.*

???: looking for this Y/N fellow,” he looks to her.

Ruby: that's right,” ruby nods. “Y/N in danger and ruby gotta save him.”

???: how about this. If we find your Y/N fellow you'll perform in our show using your powers,” he saids with a crooked smile.

Ruby: You will,” Ruby smiles brighten up excited as her tail siwshes around.

???: certainty, “ he nods.

Ruby: oh thank you,” Ruby turn to shake his hand. “Thank you very much!”

???:No trouble at all,” and so they shook on it. “Alex please have the others keep an eye out for this Y/N fellow will you?”

Alex: but of course,” Alex tip his hat.

Ruby: oh boy,” Ruby cheers as she smiles.

*unnotice by Ruby the men had a devilish grin about them. Ruby had no idea what she had gotten herself into by making this deal. Then again who wouldn't. So Alex left to have Y/N found as Ruby was being guided to her new stall where she'll be resting and rehearsing for the show. The man call himself The great and Powerful magician Sota. Ruby giggles at the name finding it much more funny then he attend it to be. When Ruby and Sota came to her stall and found it be no more then a cage Ruby starts to question Sota when he shove her inside and lock it. With a yelp Ruby found herself to be in a situation most unnerving.*

Ruby: M...Mr Sota what...what are you doing,” Ruby whimpers quietly.

Sota: Oh don't worry my dear just making sure you don't go running off is all,” he laughs.

Ruby: this isn't a rehearsal stand,” Ruby sat up to confront him. “It's a cage. You said we were going to a rehearsal stand.”

Sota: did I now,” he smiles ever so sweetly to the foolish ruby.

Ruby: yush you did,” Ruby grew uneasy as she start to suspect that he lied and that she had not only put herself into danger, but maybe even Y/N.

Sota: ooh it appears my dear that I...I could had lied,” Sota pretends to sound hurt.

Ruby: let me out,” Ruby shout as she begin hitting on the cages bars

Sota: silence,” Sota hit the ground with the whip startling ruby as she whimpers. “We have a deal and the great Sota always keeps to his deals. As for you my pretty. You going to sit there and do what you said you would. Which is preformed in my show. Fail to do so and well… You'll see just how ugle demons can be.”

*He growls as he ruby could sense a strong aura around him. Seeing he's made his point Sota smiles pleasantly as he hide his aura again.*

Sota: that's a good girl,” He then reach inside his cloak and threw some musical notes on to the floor of her cage. “You are to learn this song and preform it when it is your turn. Remember try anything and there are consequences to be pay. Weather by you or another.”

*Sota laughs terribly as Ruby curl up in the cage scare. Seeing his figure slowly disappear and she left alone. Ruby gather her cougar to at least try and save Y/N. If she could save him from her foolishness then maybe the guilt wouldn't be too bad. So ruby piece together the song and begin to rewrite it on the back of the notes to form a message to Y/N. Mr Sota made be mad at her for changing the song, but she gotta try. She  just gotta try and save Y/N.*
