Meanwhile back to Ruby and Sota. Ruby was growing tired and contently dodging and avoiding attacks became difficult. On Top of that the grass was slick and the mud made falling and tripping easier. Her breathing heavy as for Sota had plenty of scratches and bite marks to show it was difficult catching the more small and quick girl. Her speed was impressive and stamina too, but all things must come to an end as we know. Sota was getting the upper hand as he was now able to cut her off making running anywhere not possible.

Fear racing in her heart as a sudden tug of doubtfulness enter. Where was Y/N or even Lisa. Why hadn't they came back. Maybe they were planning. They wouldn’t leave Ruby. Thy wouldn't abandoned ruby...right? The small voice ask and as if seeing the fear Sota laugh. He began to circle her as the fire blaze widely and the rain stop it from getting worse it still took time before it would ever dampen out. Ruby heart races with worry, dread and fear, but she held onto the small chance that they were just busy.*

Sota: what's wrong little one,” He ask with a flashy grin. “Have your friends abandoned you.”

Ruby: n...no,” Ruby growl low.

Sota: Yes,” he snarl. “If not then where are thy? Where?!”

*Ruby whimpers low as she backs up only to stop due to the fire encircling them. Sota look Ruby dead in the eye as he held malice in his leer.*

Sota: Don't worry little demon,” he softly spoke now. “You're not the only one who were abandoned.”

*Ruby ears perk up as he look to his hand a look of distance show in his blood shot eyes. As if he stood in old memories.*

Ruby: you,” Ruby query.

*Sota nodded and look the sky as rain drizzle down it's tears.*

Sota: I use to have a friend,” he started. “Someone I thought care about me. He love me, he adobe me and praise me. Till one day…”

Ruby: what happen,” Ruby query.

Sota: he was scare of me,” Sota held a deep sorrow on his brow as if he really did care about his friend. “He said I took things too far when he was bully. That I wasn't allow to eat the people who came to watch our show. We got into a argument. He call me a monster. Thought I was sneaking into town to kill off his family one by one by one.”

Ruby: w...were you,” ruby felt terrified and scare asking.

Sota: oh yes he wasn't wrong,” Sota grin as he flash his rotten teeth with signs of blood stain of them as Ruby try to hold back her throwing up. “Just thought he learn by now Demons are never what you think. That nothing in this world is free.”

Ruby: you're sick,” She growl with her tail between her legs. “He was right to leave you! You're a monster! You ate his family and friends just for a stupid reason like bullying. They were trying to protect him!”

Sota: and such a poor job they did,” then grip by the collar of her dress Ruby yelp as he lift her up. “Let's face it your friends done the same. You are no more a monster as I am.”

Ruby: I'm Nothing like you,” ruby bark with her teeth bare.

Sota: so be it then,” he shrug without remorse. “I hope you enjoy the show little kitty. Your time's up.”

*Sota lift Ruby to his month as she squirm and struggle in his grip before a rock hit Sota in the back. Looking around he lower ruby a bit as she sees Lisa brave face waving her arms taunting Sota.*

Lisa: what's wrong did you miss me,” she query as she place a hand on her hip.

Sota: not at all,” he growl low before tossing ruby to the side.

*Ruby try to land on her feet, but not all people are lucky. She land with a sickening feeling form in the gut as there was a quiet yelp. Lisa lure Sota away be careful of the fire and the slick and muddy ground. Sota had enjoy this game of cat and mouse for too long and grew bore. He slam his foot down causing the ground to shake. Lisa balance her way between the fires and the quake to avoid being another guest to heaven or hell. The wind was being to pick up as Lisa squeezed pass some blaze and in the process Sota got burn by some flames and growl. He swatted the tents away and found Y/N on the ground and he had his head down with his jacket over him. Lisa ran to him, but skidded pass and under a cart.

Sota lunge at Y/N to only find out it was a life size dummy he use and then lighting struck and he saw the ritual marking. With a scream of fright he try to hurry out, but it was too late. Once in the circle he could not leave or break it. Lisa watch as Y/N step out holding out a spellbook and raise it up as he begin to chant the words needed for sending the demon back. With howls of anger Sota repeatedly try to break out. Shrinking down to his peny form which was the form of that he took of as human. He was on the ground begging to be release, but Y/N knew better then to trust him. And with a swift of his hand and the closing of the book thunder roar and the shriek of someone's dying gasp was heard. Finally...it was over.

The sounds of ambulance was heard as well as Police cars. Lisa came from under the cart and ran to Y/N to hug him. He hug her back as the terror they witnesses was finally over. Then a sudden question form between them...where was Ruby? Worry dampen their short victory as they look around for any sign of her. Finally am officer found her in a pile of needles as he and some doctors place her on a stretcher. Ruby breathing was quiet as if she was asleep or maybe in this outcome dead. Y/N and Lisa were stop by the officer to question. Y/N told Lisa to go on ahead for incase their little friend woke. The carnival was shut down and the file on the whole incident close.

After Y/N left the police station he headed struck toward the hospital ruby was in. When he got there they kept saying it's a miracle and how she was lucky. Finding Ruby room it only took her a few moments of sleep to recover. Ruby didn't like the hospital, but Lisa convince ruby she was hurt even after ruby show her nothing was wrong. Once Y/N enter ruby was eating ice cream as she was in her neko form. Her ears out and tail swishes around. Her horns and all had disappear. A great sigh of relief escaped Y/N throat. The doctors ask to keep ruby for a few more days for checking on and making sure she was really okay. But Ruby just wanted to go home with Y/N.

To a nice and relaxing bath. Y/N also invited Lisa over as well. Once at Y/N masion the three were welcome by the servants who Y/N assign with one making Ruby and everyone a bath or preparing a shower, two the chiefs to make hot chocolate. And for another to order pizza he didn't care what toppings. Ruby wanted pineapple,Lisa mushrooms and the last was extra cheese. So until then they all had regroup and got conformable in their own skin Lisa then brought up the journal she kept. All eager to find out what happen to the original owner crowd around her. There were only three more entries left. Lisa turn to the next entry and it said….*

Entry: June 17, 1990 the tours have all been a success. My partner is a genius. I wish my family would understand. That it's not all for not. They keep saying he's a monster. But how can someone so sweet and so...well so passionate of his work be considered a monster. Then there's my mom disappearances. None has found her and it's been over a month now. I'm really worry. Though police are looking into it and Sota keeps telling me everything's okay. There's no point in worrying now I have a show to perform. If they think I'm just gonna run home then they are for not. The show must go on!”

Entry: August 20, 2002 it's anthem and still no mom. Not only that my brother and a few of his friends have disappear. On Top of that Sota’s acting weird. He's began to get more obsesses about stopping the bullies who still come to the carnival by setting traps. Dangerous ones. Bear traps, trap door, illusions that their dying. Father still disproves of my show and what I'm doing. I'm hearing things that sound like bodies being drag. I found a dead cat under my cart. Sota acts like everything's okay, but it's not. My mother still missing and by the day I can't hide my concern to anyone. Mayb….maybe Father was right...a lot of weird things been happening ever since I got sota and he's been taking over the show bit by bit. Like he owns it. I can't count how many times he's been using me as an extra party member to work in the carnival I made. It's getting too much. I can't handle it anymore…

Entry: September 27, 2003 I had enough! I know now what happen to my Mmo and bruther! He...h...he ate them...he murder them in cold blood then eats them. I thought we were friends! We had everything together! But father was right. I need to end Sota as soon as possible. He's too dangerous. The more he eats the stronger and bigger he gets. I..I have books from an old fortuneteller on demonic contracts and summoning. There's got to be something here to help me. W...what was that?

*There were brief pause as there were spots on the paper and dots that look dry and probably was ink. Some words were blur together making them believe he was writing in a hurry or in an upset mind. Plenty of spaces to fill up. As they kept going Y/N finish off reading.*

*They watch as the words just stop there. Silence fill the room and Ruby and gang could pretty much say what happen to make the author stop writing. Y/N look to the side that had no writing was instructions for to stop Sota and he sighs. Getting up he decided that it would be best to burn the book and let the unspeakable evil remain silent. He toss it in the fireplace and after a long day and night of trying to live Lisa went home, Ruby slept in Y/N room too scared to sleep by herself and with no fuss the two now closer friends sleep together. It wasn't long before morning to rise and the sunlight shone through. Not ready to get up the two slept in that day. A butler heard a doorbell and goes to see who it is. When he open the door there was only a letter on the porch with an address and no name.

He look around and shrug before bringing it in. Unaware of a woman with dull blue eyes and thick dark brown hair that flow in the wind wearing a purple and dark blue dress with a hat and heels to match was watching from a distance as she turn on her heel to get into a car that drove off.*
