An unwelcome visitor {Revised Version}
One afternoon, Knockout and Starscream were chilling in (Y/n's) living room while they waited for her to come home from work. It wasn't uncommon for them to randomly hang out at their girlfriend’s house/apartment when she wasn't home, she'd already given them permission to stay at her place as long as they didn't make a mess. (Y/n) already knew that Starscream and Knockout were cybertronians after she'd accidentally been kidnapped by a confused Vehicon, and after they set her free they kept randomly crossing her path and eventually the they fell in love with her and the three of them decided to be in a three way-relationship. Since Megatron was away with Dreadwing they could spend more time with (Y/n), or at least they could when she came home.
They had to do it secretly so that Megatron wouldn't find out that they were dating a human, luckily he'd been busier than usual as of late. While they waited for (Y/n), Knockout and Starscream were in their holoforms since she didn't like them being mass displaced inside of her home. Of course, Starscream had to park far away because his alt mode was a jet and he was always jealous of Knockout because Knockout could just park in front of (Y/n's) house/in the parking lot near her apartment. Knockout sat on one side of her couch while Starscream sat on the other, both of them feeling bored out of their minds. They'd watched tv pretty much all day, but eventually that got boring and Knockout decided to turn the tv off.
"When does (Y/n) get home?" Starscream asked Knockout with a slight whine, wishing that their girlfriend would come home.
"Quit your whining, Screamer. She'll be home soon." Knockout answered as he rolled his eyes at Starscream's whining.
Starscream sighed as he leaned against his left fist, using the armrest to keep himself at least somewhat upright. Having holoforms really helped them when they were at (Y/n's) place, especially since they didn't want anyone to know what they really were. Suddenly, Knockout saw something crawling on the carpet, something with multiple legs and two antenna. Starscream saw it too and they both stared at it, then they shrieked when it crawled towards them.
"Where the frag did that thing come from?!" Starscream yelped as he fell off of the couch, immediately scooting backwards until he stood up.
"I don't know, but it's headed our way!" Knockout yelled before he and Starscream ran into the kitchen, neither of them wanting the bug to touch them; they absolutely hated bugs, especially creepy ones, because they always found their way into places where they shouldn't be.
Once they were in the kitchen Knockout peeked into the living room and saw that the bug had stopped crawling, or rather it stopped for the time being. To them, the bug looked big and it was scary because of the way it moved, but in reality it was tiny compared to them.
"(Y/n's) going to be home any minute! We need to get rid of that- that thing!" Starscream said, panicking a little after he looked at the clock and saw what time it was.
"Here, we can use these to protect our heads!" Knockout suggested when he grabbed a pot and a large bowl out of one of the lower cupboards; he and Starscream were only in their holoforms, but in the moment that little detail didn't occur to him.
Starscream looked at Knockout as though he was crazy, although he decided to go along with it in case the bug was dangerous; to be clear the bug was just a harmless beetle, but they didn't know that. Knockout put the bowl on his head and he gave Starscream the pot since the bowl looked better on him. Starscream quickly put the pot on his head before they went back to the kitchen doorway. He then proceeded to grab the nearest item at the time, a serving spoon that was randomly on one of the counters, and he aimed it at the beetle.
"Wait! You can't throw that in here, (Y/n) would be furious!" Knockout said seriously, preventing the other mech-turned-man from throwing the big metal spoon.
"Then what do you suggest we use to kill that bug?" Starscream asked Knockout, turning to his boyfriend; his eyes were blown wide in fear, and he wasn't sure what else to do.
"Come on, I know just the things." Knockout replied before he ran out of the kitchen and down the hallway after he got a brilliant idea; he knew that they couldn't throw things in the house/apartment, although that didn't mean they couldn't use things to squish the tiny invader.
Starscream followed Knockout and they ran to (Y/n's) bedroom, curious as to what he had in mind to use to protect themselves. Once they stopped running Knockout started looking around for the two items they needed, a tennis racket and a baseball bat. Starscream arched an eyebrow as he watched Knockout digging around in (Y/n's) closet; he was already confused enough as it was, but then again they were trying to protect themselves from a bug.
'Ah-ha! Here they are!" Knockout exclaimed as he grabbed a tennis racket and a baseball bat, holding both items by their handles as he drug them out from under the clothes.
Starscream didn't hesitate to take the tennis racket, leaving Knockout with the baseball bat. Slowly, they crept back to the living room and stood behind the couch where they would be safe, then they stared at the bug and the bug stared at them.
"Well, go on. Make the first move." Starscream told Knockout with a hushed tone, not once taking his eyes off the beetle.
"Me? Why me? I don't want my clothes ruined." Knockout questioned as he glanced at Starscream; he really didn't want to be the one to kill the bug because he knew they had guts, and even though his holoform's clothes weren't real he still didn't want to get bug guts on them.
"Stop caring about your clothes so much!" Starscream hissed, briefly glaring at his flamboyant boyfriend.
"You know what they say, age before beauty." Knockout suggested, not wanting to go near the bug.
"Are you saying that I'm old?" Starscream questioned, feeling offended that Knockout would dare suggest that he was getting old.
"I'm just saying that since you're older than me, you should go first." Knockout clarified gesturing to the bug only a few feet away from them.
"No. You go first!" Starscream argued; if his holoform had wings like his real body, they would have been standing upright on his back
"No, I insist. You first." Knockout taunted, pointing to the bug that thankfully hadn't moved yet.
"No! I'm your commander and I order you to go first!" Starscream ordered whilst sneering at Knockout.
Starscream and Knockout kept arguing until they heard the front door unlock and open, signaling that their girlfriend finally came home. About a minute or so later (Y/n) walked into the living room and saw her boyfriends behind the couch; she was hoping to relax after a long day at work, but apparently things at home had gotten interesting. Starscream and Knockout turned around and looked at (Y/n), neither of them sure how to explain what they were doing.
"What are you both doing? Knockout, why are you wearing a bowl on your head and holding a baseball bat? Starscream, why are you wearing a pot on yours and holding a tennis racket?" (Y/n) asked them curiously, questioning as to what exactly they were doing since she apparently missed out on a lot.
"Because of that!" Knockout and Starscream said in sync as they pointed to the bug.
(Y/n) looked at the place where they were pointing to and saw the beetle, then she went to the kitchen. She grabbed a glass and a piece of paper and walked to where the bug was; first she placed the glass over the bug and then she carefully slid the paper under it, trapping the poor confused beetle.
"W-what are you doing?" Knockout asked (Y/n) after she stood up.
"I'm going to take this little guy outside and set him free.” (Y/n) answered before she went to let the beetle go, that way it could get on with its life where it belonged.
While (Y/n) was outside Knockout and Starscream went to go put the bowl and the pot back in the kitchen and the baseball bat and the tennis racket back in her bedroom right where Knockout found them. They felt kind of silly for overreacting so much to a tiny beetle, not even (Y/n) was afraid of it and she even set it free outside with ease. Once they were finished they went back to the living room and saw (Y/n) patiently waiting for them.
"We're so glad that you're home." Knockout said as he walked over to (Y/n) and kissed her, sheepishly grinning at her after they pulled away from the kiss.
"I bet you are." (Y/n) responded as she smirked; it was kind of funny to see her two boyfriends so scared of a beetle that they used some of her things to protect themselves, she kind of wished that she'd taken a photo of them.
Starscream felt a little left out; he wanted to kiss (Y/n) too, so he walked over to her, wrapped his arms around her midsection and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. Earlier that day he and Knockout had a little makeout session on the couch, but it wasn't the same as kissing (Y/n). Knockout rolled his eyes when Starscream kissed (Y/n), he knew that the seeker's competitive side had kicked in a little after Starscream saw him kiss her. After Starscream stopped kissing (Y/n) the three of them went to go sit on the couch together, the young woman sitting in the middle while Knockout sat to the left and Starscream sat to the right. Coming home to find her two boyfriends having a staring contest with a beetle while dressed the way they were had certainly been unexpected, but that was one of the things she loved most about them.
