[xOC request] Falling stars - Dimentio x Cake
This request is from Little_AceGamer and Juliet's creator who requested a Dimentio x Cake story. Thanks for giving me the first request of the continuation.
"Ok, done and done.." Cake mumbled to herself. The door to her room opened and her younger sister rushed into the room. "Cake! I drew a picture!" The five year old said. "You did? What is it?" Cake asked with a smile. "It's you and that jester guy!" Cupcake said proudly. "You mean Dimentio?" Cake asked as she looked at the picture. It had two stick figures in it, one vaguely resembling Cake and the other Dimentio. The stick figures where holding hands with a heart above them. There where also random stick figures in the background making a rainbow. Cake smiled. "It's beautiful Cupcake. Your a better artist than me at this point." She complimented. Cupcake shoved the picture into Cake's hands. "I made it for you!" She said proudly. "That's nice. What do you say I put it on the fridge when me and Pie get back from the Starbit Festival?" Cake asked. Cupcake clapped excitedly then ran out of the room. Cake looked at the picture one more time before sighing. "That girls got a big imagination." She smiled. She folded the picture carefully and put it into her pocket so she wouldn't forget it before she stood up and made her way downstairs. "Pie!" She called. "Come on it's going to start any minute!" Pie instantly paused her game and rushed to meet Cake. "Ready!" She exclaimed excitedly.
The night sky over the Mushroom Kingdom filled with what appeared to be small shooting stars when Cake and Pie appeared there. They where landing on the ground and splitting into colorful, almost jem-like, starbits. "Wow..." Pie said, completely speechless thanks to the beauty of the sky and night Mushroom kingdom. She began bouncing like a small child and looked at Cake excitedly. "Go ahead, I'm not going to stop you. Just don't hurt anyone." Cake said. Pie hugged her cousin then quickly ran off toward the castle. Cake stood there for a moment before finding a way to climb onto a nearby roof and look at the sky peacefully. She watched the Toads pick up Starbits and skip happily down the road to collect even more, more then likely collecting them to form a Grand Star. "Like a child on his birthday I seem to have found my cake." A joking voice said behind her. "Trust me Dim, if I was your birthday cake I would be two months old." Cake joked as she turned to face the jester. "Point made. I didn't know you would show up for the Starbit festival." Dimentio said. "I could say the same thing about you. You don't really seem like the kind of person to enjoy it." Cake responded. "I brought Pie because she really wanted to be apart of it. I wanted to see the falling Starbits." She shrugged. "I see." Dimentio said. "What's your excuse?" Cake asked. Dimentio shrugged. "For once I don't really have one." "That's a shocker." Cake smirked. "Mr.Master of Dimensions doesn't have a reason for doing something." "You want to start this now do you?" Dimentio smirked. "Nope." Cake turned away. After a moment of silence Dimentio spoke. "Still taking care of that little sister of yours?" He didn't quite know how to continue the conversation so he just asked the question, to no answer. He looked over at the authoress then smirked, teleporting in front of her. She turned away, thinking is a tad funny that he was trying to get her attention like that. "You really want to do that?" Dimentio asked. Cake turned to him just enough for him to see her smirk. A second later she was picked up by him and got teleported to the roof of the Mushroom Castle. He was ready to throw her in the moat. "Woah!Woah! Ok, chill!" She shouted. He put her down and tried not to laugh at her reaction. "Warn a pastry next time." Cake said. "Where's the fun in that?" Dimentio asked. Cake tried to ignore the pain that was caused when he put one of his hands on her back to throw her and looked at up at him. "It might not be as fun but it sure as heck helps." Cake said. "Hey Cake!" The familiar voice of Pie called. "What are you doing up there?" She asked, although she got an idea when she saw Dimentio. "I'll explain later. You ready to head home?" Cake called back down to her cousin. "Yep!" Pie shouted.
"Sup Dim-bulb." A familiar voice greeted Dimentio. Changing his mood from happy to annoyed. "What do you want Mimi?" He asked. "What? I can't come check on everyone's favorite mad man?" Mimi smirked. "Don't you have somewhere to be?" Dimentio asked, hoping for the little shapeshifter to take a hint. Mimi walked up next to him, having changed herself to look like Cake. "I saw you with the Author. What's with you and trying to throw her into water?" Mimi asked as she changed back to normal. "I find her reactions amusing, much like you do with your rubies." Dimentio said. "Don't think I'm oblivious Dim. You read my secrets frequently by stealing my diary, I find it only fair that I learn at least one of yours in return." Mimi smirked. "The only secrets I have are my plans and there is no way you could have found out about those." Dimentio said, facing the shapeshifter. "That so? Your lucky I don't go as low as you, otherwise I would have blackmailing material." Mimi giggled. "I hate you." Dimentio said. "That makes two of us." Mimi smiled
Cake and Pie returned to their home and Pie instantly began to talk. "So, what's up with you and Dimentio?" She asked with a smirk. "Pardon?" Cake responded. "You think something is up?" "Obviously. You spend more time with him then you ever did with J-" Cake quickly stopped Pie. The look on her face warning her not to finish that sentence. "I mean, you two spend a lot of time together and you've even told me yourself that you appreciate him." Pie reworded. Cake sighed. "There is a difference between appreciation and love." She said. "Besides, it wouldn't work out even if I did like him." "Why not?" Pie asked. "He wants to destroy all worlds and make new ones. Sense our worlds are somehow connected now, if he does that, our world gets destroyed too." Cake said as she walked out of the room. She walked to the kitchen and took Cupcake's picture out of her pocket. She looked over it for a moment then sighed. "Even so....I still like him." She mumbled to herself. She took a magnet and put the picture up before walking away.
