Ah, Mother's Day. The one day of the year where moms around the world can be appreciated for all they do.

For Night, she didn't really expect to get anything for this day because, technically, she wasn't a mother. She was a caregiver. But, nevertheless, she was surprised when Jin showed up with Naoki, the twins, a bouquet of white roses, Night's favorite.

The kind gesture actually brought the young woman to tears, she hugging him tightly and repeatedly thanking him.
"You really didn't have to do this for me Jin. Nothing would've been just fine." She said, rubbing away her tears gently.
"Well, with everything you had done to help me, I just really wanted to show you how much I appreciate you..." Jin smiled, pulling a small box from the baby bag. "This is from all of us..." He said, handing her the box. Night looked at it and started to unwrap it carefully, opening the top.

Inside sat a beautifully crafted silver shark necklace, amethyst gems running down the spine and glinting in the light. She carefully took it out of the box and looked it closer, noticing an engraving on the back.
"'Beloved mother and grandmother, Happy Mother's Day', oh I love it! Thank you so much!" Night squealed, hugging both of them tightly.
"You're so welcome...!"
"You're welcome." Jin and Naoki together, hugging her back as Jack and Natalya squealed and laughed to get their attention.

A little later, everyone was having a picnic in the backyard. Hartz sat on blanket with Night in his lap, her back pressed to his chest. Night, the young mother, was playing with Natalya while Naoki and Jin slept in the shade on a separate blanket with Jack. She giggled softly when Natalya grabbed onto the front of her shirt and started tugging happily. Hartz watched them with a gentle smile on his lips, his heart fluttering in his chest slightly.
"You're so good with kids..." He said softly, nuzzling her neck gently. Night smiled, rubbing his head gently with her free hand.
"You do know how much I love kids." She said, feeling him smile slightly against her skin.
"Yes, I do... Which is why I wanted you to know, I want to have a baby with you..."

Night stopped for a moment and thought before she smiled, turning in his lap so she could face him.
"Baby, I have a poem I would like to share with you. Want to hear it?"
"Oh, uh, of course. What is it?" Hartz said, glancing down when Natalya grabbed at his hands slightly.
"'It was something we prayed about both day and night, and I kept it a secret until the time was right. But now, twelve weeks later, I am excited to say. We're going to have a baby, now six months away." The young female rhymed, looking at him with a smile. Hartz looked at her in surprise, his showing green eye darting between her grey eyes and her stomach.
"... It's true? You're really pregnant?" He asked after he found his voice, a shocked and excited tone within it. Night smiled widely and nodded, patting her stomach gently.
"You're going to be a daddy Hartz!" She squealed happily, giggling softly when her beloved partner wrapped her in a hug.

Hartz kissed her face happily, looking down when he heard Natalya squeal in between them. He smiled and picked her up, holding her in his arms and kissing before he leaned in and kissed his wife happily.

Let's just say, when Naoki and Jin woke up later that day, they were thrilled to hear the news about the new baby that would soon join their little family...
