jeno throws his head back in his chair when he finally reads jaemin's texts, the lesson their professor was giving completely blocked out by the thoughts running like a marathon through his mind.

he thanks the lord he's sitting in the back because if he wasn't, phone = gone.

but what has advantages, also has disadvantages.

for jeno couldn't see the fucking whiteboard from where he was seated.

but who cares? he gets to use his phone to take pictures of it anyways. even with his glasses on or contacts in, he was still blind.

that didn't matter too much though. what mattered to him at the given moment, was jaemin.

jaemin and his bitchass friends.

chenle, who had a boyfriend might he add, going after donghyuck who's going after jaemin. it made his head spin.

jeno nearly slams his head on the table. is it really that hard to lead a normal life? why the hell did he have to deal with so much drama?

why does the universe hate him so much?

he wished he knew the answer. so badly.

but given the time and situation he was in at that very moment, answers weren't going to be popping up anytime soon.

class proceeds as normal for the rest of the hour, and when it was finally time to leave, jenos gets up and begins to walk out. he's halfway out the door when someone grabs his wrist and begins dragging him along.

"what— what the fuck?" jeno stuttered as he tried to shake his wrist out of the persons hold. they were wearing a black hoodie, so he couldn't see the back of their head.

the brunette raises an eyebrow when he gets no response, the hold on his wrist is strong, as well as their strength.

"bitch, i have a place to be. let. me go—"

"shut up before i slam your face into the pavement."

"bold words for someone who's hiding themself in a hoodie and dragging me by the wrist." jeno rolled his eyes before the person he identified as a boy, stopped walking.

they were behind the yellow cab on campus, a pizza place he and his friends hated.

"i've been meaning to talk to you for a while, lee." he started finally letting go of jeno's wrist.

"a while? i don't even— kim jungwoo?!"

jeno stared shockingly at the brunette who finally decided to face him. he looked a little upset, but jeno isn't sure if it's because of him or something else.

"what did you need to talk to me about?" jeno asked confused.

"yukhei." jungwoo mumbled with a small sigh at the end. "he's your friend, right?"

"oh uh, not really. we're just acquaintances. why?" the younger of the two answered truthfully. he doesn't know why he's asking about him.

why was jungwoo even asking about yukhei to him specifically? yukhei has other friends. this came out of no where.

jungwoo sighed. "i'm tired, jeno! all he ever does is chase after me to talk about that one friend of yours." he exclaimed with a hand running through his hair. "and i get he's my friend and all, i don't want to be rude, but god damn, he just never shuts up!"

"RENJUN?!"

"yeah! renjun! all it ever is is 'zeus, junnie looked so cute today!' or 'boo hoo renjunnie hates me, i didn't even do anything.' while he cries." he places his fingers on his temples, seemingly massaging them. "i'm exhausted!"

jeno's mouth slants to the side as he tries to find a way to comfort the boy. "sorry, woo. i don't know what to—"

"tell renjun to stop being a tsun, and talk to him!"

he snorts, "that's not easy as you think it is. every time we mention yukhei, he always tells us to shut up."

"he ain't osana najimi. he's a wannabe and you can tell him i said that." he scoffed bringing his hands back down. "since renjun is your friend specifically, i thought it'd be beneficial to ask you instead of the other two cause one of them scares me and the other..."

"jisung or mark?"

"the silver head one with the girlfriend who shoots me lasers when i try to talk to him."

jeno makes an 'o' with his mouth. "jisung. but can i ask how the hell mark lee scares you?"

"is he a foreigner?" jungwoo asked, "because all he ever does is mumble in english to himself all the time. i can't tell if he's summoning demons or talking to himself."

once again, jeno's eyebrow is raised. this was new information. "he's from canada, but does he? i would've never expected that..."

jungwoo's eyes sparkle at the mention of canada."ooh, canada? i hear they have poutine there."

"the fuck is a poutine?"

"lee jeno, you are a disgrace to humanity."
