He decided to stay in bed.
The sun was out, casting its light over the city.
At the view from his window,
the scene outside was draped in a heat haze.
Beams of light crept in through the gaps in the curtains,
illuminating his otherwise darkened room.
His head ached.
His body felt unsteady.
He turned to look at the clock by his bedside.
2:17 p.m.
Breakfast and lunch had passed without his notice.
Strangely enough, he didn't feel hungry.
A small sigh escaped from him.
Then, he continued to stare outside.
The next day, his routine went back to the usual.
