Jack Flynn was an enigmatic man. By day, he worked 9 to 5 at a factory. By night, though, Flynn became a completely different person. Whenever he got the chance, he would dabble in weird rituals that required all sorts of materials. His favorite type of ritual involved the possibility of transcending death. He counted on his job to earn enough money to buy the necessary supplies. Then, one day, everything seemed to fall apart. Due to budget cuts, he and several other factory workers got laid off. Feeling as if he could not find another decent-paying job, he came up with an idea of his own.

He knew three co-workers at his old job- Betty Robinson, John Markowitz, and Helen Worthington. Jack hated them. They always talked behind other peoples' backs and had holier-than-thou attitudes. Luckily, he knew what to do with them.

His plan involved inviting the group to his house so he could steal any money they had and sacrifice them to gain evil powers. That way, he could fund whatever experiments he wanted. Once the three came over to Jack's residence, he began to stalk and ultimately murder them. The cops were called over to the scene when a neighbor heard the victims' dying screams. They came across a blood-drenched Jack stumbling toward them when they got there.

He then declared, "Do your worst."

Jack then let out a feral scream and charged toward the officers. They then opened fire, and the madman got ripped apart by bullets. To give an idea of how bad his corpse looked, he suffered three shots to the head (including one shot to his left eye), seven wounds to his chest and torso, and his left arm got severed below the elbow from just one bullet.

After reading about the case, Kylie realized something.

That thing that got George did not have a left arm.

"Jack Flynn possessed George Kole! That has to be it!" Kylie suddenly shouted.

"Um, what are you talking about," her dad asked, confused.

"I played a game in which George got attacked by a shadow monster- it must have taken control of his body and made him kill those three kids back in 1988. Thirty years before that, three people also got murdered."

"Unbelievable..." he said, wide-eyed.

"And now, the original evil is back," Kylie stated.
