10:30 a.m.

Kylie went down to her basement and logged on to the computer. She speculated that an email triggered last night's events. Sure enough, Kylie found a suspicious-looking email from Danny's supposed History teacher. Taking a deep breath, she clicked on the link in the email.

The screen then went to something that made Kylie recoil. It was an 80s-style video game, and the character she saw was none other than George Kole. He wore what he wore 30 years ago and last year- a green polo shirt, khakis, and brown shoes. However, the scene appeared different this time. He was in the foyer of the house. Kylie also realized that the game's controls were the same as before. Everything seemed to come back at her so quickly. Remembering the last game's details, she made George move to the door that led to the basement and made him go downstairs.

Once George reached the bottom of the stairs in the game, he seemed to look at something. Kylie remembered the place in the house where the secret passage got found. On instinct, she made him go to the hidden door in the storage room. Maybe something in the hidden door could help?

George opened the door and went down the stairs. This time, George went to the left. Oddly enough, the long candles lining the walls were burning, almost as if someone had just lit them. Once he reached the bottom of the stairs, Kylie noticed the black-and-white checkered floor seemed to glow orange due to the candlelight. George kept walking down the long hallway until he reached a teal door. Unbeknownst to Kylie, Danny saw this exact door last night. Moving up against though caused a message to appear:

LOCKED

Could there be a key around here somewhere? Kylie made George turn around to look for it. Once the character did so, she noticed that one of the floor tiles moved slightly. The key had to be under there. Kylie then decided to see which action on her keyboard would make George get the item. After trying numerous options, she discovered that "X" was the right choice. A dinging sound signaled the key being in George's possession. George then unlocked the door.

What George and Kylie saw changed everything.

George had entered a room with bright red walls. The room itself was empty save for a table with an assortment of weapons. Suddenly, without warning, a digitized voice said, "HELLO, GEORGE. YOU'RE NEXT."

A cutscene played, showing a prominent, shadowy figure standing behind George. He slowly turned around and came face-to-face with this being who was missing a left arm. Nothing happened for the longest time until the figure viciously thrust a dark hand down George's throat. A piercing noise followed and the game stopped running at that moment. Kylie screamed and fainted.
