A long time ago, the ninjas and samurais are close friends. But one day, they've became mortal enemies forever. The samurais and ninjas swear to never meet again, but what if one from the colony meet each other be closer, if not, together?

In the small samurai village, there's the ancient Norisu Family. One of their son is the chosen Samurai to fight, Nomi. He studied the ancient studies of the samurai past but not knowing about the war between them and the ninjas. He traveled as much as he was told and did everything they've told him to do.

In the ninja village, Randy was chosen as a ninja of the village. He trained as much as he could to be the best ninja he can be. He used fire pebbles, using deadly weapons and suffered through many situation that could be fatal to his life.

Soon, they both couldn't handle it anymore.

"Argh, Nii-san! Why can't you just let me to take a break?!" Nomi shouted to his big brother after meditating in the harshly falling waterfall for a straight 6 hours. His brother shrugged.

"It's the rules, baby bro. Can't do anything about it."

"Mom, can't I take a break?" Randy asked his mother tiredly.

"Sorry, sweety. Can't do that."

"Argh, that's it! I'm heading to the forest!" They both yelled the same sentence and left towards the forest. Upon closer to the center they met up. They looked at each other and awkwardly smiled. They started to talk in sync for a while.

"Um, hello there."

"Oh, you go first."

"No, you go!"

"Sorry."

"I ran away from home!"

They both looked at each other and laughed it off. They have never been in this sync in such a long time, almost like they were meant to be. They stop laughing and smoke at each other.

"My name is Randy, how about you?" Randy asked as they both sit down.

"My name is Nomi. Pleasure to meet you." They both started to talk more and more about their lives, smiling and feeling their face flushed red.

"So, what kind of a person are you?" Randy asked as they both walk around the forest.

"I'm a samurai, you?"

"I'm a ninja! That's so cool!" Nomi smiled at his friend's excitement.

"I see. How come we never met before? You're like me." Randy said with a smile. Nomi shrugged.

"I guess this is what they called fate?" He answered, picking some berries for them to eat.

"But I thought it's for love..." They both stare into each other's eyes as they flushed in deep crimson red. What is this feeling? They couldn't figure it out. It felt giddy and... Nice?

"I'm not sure really. Changing subject. Why don't we visit each other everyday here at the very center of the forest. We could make this place as our private training place." Nomi asked. Randy's eyes lit up.

"Oh honking yeah! Let's do this! The sun is setting, better go home now. See you tomorrow, Nomi!" The purple hair boy said and hugged his new friend. Nomi hugged him back and waved goodbye. His heart was still beating fast, now missing the warmth from that hug. He shook his head and walked back to his village.

Randy meanwhile, blushed hard as he think about Nomi. His gorgeous hair, his beautiful eyes, a gentle and caring smile? Who wouldn't love that lovely smile? The gentle care that he gave is so... Lovable. Randy shook his thought, maybe it's just a thought, nothing too much.

Nomi arrived home to see his mother dancing gracefully. He's pretty close to his mother so he decided to talk to her about this weird feelings he had. Randy was going to do the same thing with his mother. After getting the permission about it, they both sat down.

"So, what's wrong my dear?" Nomi's mother asked with gentleness and care.

"I've been feeling something weird about this... Person." Nomi responded.

"What do you feel, my son?" Randy's mother asked as she drank her tea. Randy started to blush hard.

"Well, I like his kindness."

"I like his smile."

"I feel giddy whenever I'm around him."

"When we talked I felt nervous."

"I feel like I want to be closer to him."

"I feel like I want to be with him."

"Mom, what is this feeling?" Randy and Nomi asked the same question, to which what their mother smiled as says the exact same answer.

"That is love, my child."

Love.

The word makes Nomi's mind full. It's just one word, why does it fill up his brain with it? He closed his eyes hoping just go to sleep, but his mind was still thinking about Randy. Why?

Randy on the other hand, looks outside of his window. He can feel his heart beating faster everytime he thought about Nomi. He wanted to feel his warmth, his gentleness, everything. Randy shook his head and went to bed, hoping that it will just go away.

Everyday, they visited each other, talking, training, playing and even teasing. Randy found out that Nomi loves wagashi and green tea while Nomi found out that Randy loves curry. They sometimes bring some bento (lunches) to eat together. Randy brought tuna sandwiches and Nomi brought some soba noodles. They both shared their meal and rested under the tree.

This happened frequently until Nomi decided to tell Randy how he really feels. He looked at Randy deep in his blue eyes, like the ocean. Randy can feel his heart aching for Nomi's voice. The silence is killing both of them.

"Um, Randy. I need to release something from my chest." Nomi said, trying to look away from directly seeing Randy's beautiful eyes.

"Go ahead."

"I, I've been feeling this strange feeling that made me feel like I want to be with you, closer to you, cherish you. I... I think I'm in love with you." Nomi confessed. He closed his eyes, waiting for the disgusted face Randy might make. But it didn't came. All that came was a kiss, a deep kiss.

Nomi closed his eyes and cherished that kiss. It felt nice, their lips fit together like two puzzle pieces. It's in sync as well. They both broke it off as Randy gave him an honest smile.

"Do you love me as much as I love you?" He asked. Nomi nod and kissed Randy's forehead.

"Yes, yes I do love you, Randy. My beautiful gem." He cherished Randy with everything he can do. Randy felt happy that Nomi returned his feelings. They often kiss, tease, train and even feed each other the bento they've brought to share. It was a beautiful moment.

Of course, they had to be found out.

Nomi's family and Randy's family followed their son to the middle of the forest where they saw them hugging and kissing each other. They looked at them with shock. A samurai and a ninja? The unholy pairing? This won't do.

"Nomi, why are you with that ninja?" Nomi's brother, Saigon said in surprised, looking at his little brother with a ninja.

"My son, why are you with that samurai?" Randy's father Jason looked at his son disappointed. The mothers however, didn't say anything. They couldn't let their children to fight over this. They want their son to be happy.

"Father, I love him." Randy said as he hugged Nomi dearly, not wanting to let go. Nomi hugged Randy even tighter. He didn't want to end this.

"No, Randy. You're a ninja. You are forbidden from seeing him."

"I hate to say this, but I agree with him. Nomi, you're a samurai. Never trust that assassin! Ninjas are assassins!" Saigon said to his brother and tried to pull him back to the village. Randy and Nomi didn't want to.

"No, I love Randy and I want to be with him!" Nomi yelled, didn't want to leave Randy alone. Randy's father tried to take Randy but Randy didn't want to leave.

"No, father. Please! I want to be with him! I love him!"

"No means no, Randall Cunningham!"

"Brother, you don't understand!"

"No, Nomi! This is for your own good!"

"Enough!" The voices of the two women was loud enough to stop the fight. All of Nomi's siblings and Randy's family gathered to see the mothers with a confusing look.

"Mother, please-" Randy tried to talk but his mother raised her hand, saying that she's going to do the talking first. Randy obliged.

"So, we've known that Nomi the Chosen Samurai and Randy the Chosen Ninja are in love with each other and dating each other." She said, showing the two love birds holding hands.

"Yes, so we'll be asking them a question." Nomi's mother said with a stern voice. Nomi never heard that voice before. She looked at Randy and questioned him.

"Randall, if I'm not mistaken. How much do you love my son?" She asked gently, not wanting to scare him. Randy sighed and took a deep breath.

"I love your son so much, so much that I'm willing to sacrifice my ninja duties for his sake. I love him, I want to be with him and I want to cherish him until the end of time and still continue my love for him." He said, in his full honesty. Nomi blushed at his words but smiled with happiness.

"Nomi, if I'm right. Why do you love my son?" Randy's mother asked as well. Nomi smiled and said in his full honesty.

"Miss Cunningham, I love your son because of many things. He's kind, smart, generous, sweet and willing to do anything for everyone else. When I heard his confession just now from my mother's questions, I can feel my heart bursting with happiness knowing that he's serious with this love he has for me and I have for him. I love him, and I will never stop loving him." Nomi said as he pulled Randy closer to him. Randy snuggled against Nomi's chest with a smile.

Both of the mothers looked at each other and smiled, discussed a bit and nod. They both hold their hands, shook it and looked at their children with a smile.

"Very well. It's your choice, my dear. As a mother, we are going to make sure you both have the life that you've always wanted, love." Randy's mother said sweetly.

"She's right. Who are we to fight your decisions. We hope that you both as happy together. The villagers don't have to know, only us." Nomi's mother said as she caressed her son's head with care. Nomi teared up and hugged his mother tightly. Randy did the same with his mother.

The rest however aren't really happy with this, but since mothers knows best, they decided to just accept the fact that not only that Nomi and Randy are gay for each other, but they are going to have to get along. Randy smiled at his lover, Nomi and kissed him dearly. Nomi kissed back and they both broke it off with a soft cry.

"I love you, Nomi. My gentle lover."

"I love you to, Randy. My beautiful gem."
