My Little Pony
Once upon a time, there was a small town far from Ponyville that was hidden in a forest called Norrisville. Found by the legendary alicorn family called the Norisu Family, there's many unicorns and pegasus living in harmony. What about earth ponies? Well, around that time there wasn't any earth ponies besides horses who are a whole different species from them since they can't have a cutie mark. The ponies treated them with respect and manners.
One day, an enchanted unicorn married a powerful pegasus, Ruby and Jason Cunningham. Their love bloom beautifully and soon Ruby is about to give birth to their child. But the most surprising about their child is that he is different from the rest of the villagers.
He is an Earth Pony.
Beautiful tyrian purple mane, gorgeous sapphire blue eyes, a soft light purple coat, he is beautiful. But what makes him different from the rest is that he is an Earth pony, not a unicorn or a pegasus.
Ruby and Jason were sad to see their son is just a pony, but after thinking they realized that their son is still their son, their child. They decided to just accept him as who he is and promised to make sure that their child is happy in the village no matter what.
A few years pass and Randy finally went to kindergarten. The majority of them are unicorns and pegasus and Randy was the only Earth Pony there. He often got bullied for being nothing.
"Wow, an Earth pony? Lame!" One filly said.
"Yeah, unlike us you're nothing." Another one said.
Randy tried to accept the fact that he is just a pony, but the more they bullied the more sadness he felt rising in him. He sighed as he decided to walk around the village until he found a path no one knew about. He walked through the path and found himself in a beautiful garden with a crystal lake. At the lake was a simple unicorn with a cloak covering his body. He has red mane, hazel eyes and a smooth pinkish red coat. His hair was tied to the back as a ponytail to stop bothering him.
"Um, hello?" Randy asked, not wanting to scare the unicorn. The unicorn looked at the pony and bowed a bit.
"Hello, who are you?" He asked with manners. Randy said his name and smiled sweetly.
"Pleasure, my name is Nomi, a unicorn." Randy took a good look at the horn and tried his best to not get jealous.
"What are you doing here in the Crystal Garden? This place isn't always public for other ponies." Nomi asked, letting the purple pony to sit down. An Earth Pony, huh? Interesting.
"I just found this place and figured that I can find out where it leads to. I like adventures so it's interesting." The younger filly said as he looked at the lake. So clear. Nomi nodded.
"I see. So, you're an Earth pony, correct?" He asked. Randy sighed and nod his head.
"Yeah, my parents are different than me. My mom is an enchanted unicorn while my dad is a powerful pegasus. I'm just an Earth pony..." He said sadly, continuing to look at the lake as the reflection show who he is. A pony.
Nomi felt bad for the young filly, since he himself knew a few amazing thing about earth ponies back in Ponyville. He gently hold onto Randy's hoof with a smile.
"Randy, it's okay. Look at the reflection on the water. What does it show you?"
"A pony?"
"It shows you, Randy. You are a special pony, a unique one. Don't worry about being just an Earth pony, you're special just the way you are. You are loved by your parents, right?" Randy nod at the question.
"So just be you. Remember that, okay?" Nomi continued with a gentle smile. Randy blushed a bit before he smiled as well.
"I guess you're right, Nomi. Thanks." He hugged Nomi, grateful that he had helped him. Nomi smiled.
"No problem. I'm always happy to help." He said as he hugged Randy back.
"You must be special then, Nomi. You are a unicorn so you can do amazing magic. Your family must been proud." Nomi sadden his smile.
"You're not technically wrong. My family loves me yes but... My magic isn't as strong as theirs. They are more special than I am so that's why I usually came here to practices." He explained and used his magic to make a nearby flower bud bloom. It didn't work. He sighed as he sat down.
"See? This is a basic magic that I have to learn. Yet I still can't do it." He closed his eyes in disappointment in himself. Randy understood his pain somehow.
"Hey, it's okay, Nomi. At least you tried your best and that's good enough. If you can continue focussing for yourself maybe your magic might work." Randy theorized as he took a small ball.
"Try focusing on lifting this ball with magic." Nomi closed his eyes and focusing his magic at the ball, he opened to see the ball flying in the air.
"Woah, awesome. Now try to do the blooming flower." Randy asked. Nomi payed a full attention at the flower bud and used his magic to make the flower bloom.
"Did it work?" He asked, still keeping his eyes closed.
"See it for yourself." Randy said. Nomi looked at the flower and was happy. The flower bloomed perfectly.
"Woah. It worked! It actually worked! Thank you, Randy!" He immediately hugged Randy dearly, grateful for his guidance. Randy blushed a bit harder than before.
"N-no problem!" He smiled awkwardly. Soon, a magic surrounded Nomi's flank and saw his cutie mark. A Norisu Nine symbol.
"I got my cutie mark! Yes!" He said happily. Randy looked at his flank and sighed. No cutie mark yet.
"Congratulations, Nomi. Can I see it?" Randy asked. Nomi then somehow felt nervous but Randy is his friend. He trust him.
"Um, sure I guess." He gently lifted the cloak so it can only shows the cutie mark, not the rest of his body.
"That's amazing, Nomi. Congratulations again." Randy smiled sweetly.
"Thank you, oh I have to go now. Let's use the path you have used." He said and they both walked towards the exit that Randy used to enter. They arrived and an elderly pegasus yelled at a thief who stole her bag. Randy by his instinct immediately galloped towards the thief and immediately catch the bag. He gave the bag using his back to prevent him from using his mouth, making it pristine.
"Thank you, dear. You are one fast pony." She said with a gently smile before flying away. Randy was surprised. No ponies besides his parents compliment him like that. The thief got up and used his magic to try and hurt the purple filly. Nomi shouted at his friend worriedly.
"Randy, look out!" He yelled and about to use his magic to prevent the knife from hurting Randy, but before he can do it Randy already grab hold of it using his strong teeth. He pulled the knife away from the magic making the unicorn thief tumbled by surprised. Randy immediately took a rope and gallop around the thief, tying him up while he's still fainted.
"Is everypony okay?" Randy asked worriedly. All the ponies who witnessed it immediately clapped and stomp their hooves, amazed on what Randy had done to save the village. Nomi himself was surprised as well.
"Woah, Randy. You're very strong and fast! Great job!" He said and made a barrier around the thief so he couldn't move. Randy blushed.
"I guess being an Earth pony isn't as bad as I thought." The two little fillies smiled. Then, a light magic glowed around Randy's flank and showed him his cutie mark. Two swords clashing to each other. A hero.
"I got my cutie mark! I actually got it!" Randy jumped happily as he looked at his cutie mark. Nomi looked at it with awe.
"Awesome. This is a pretty unique cutie mark, Randy. Congratulations." He smiled.
"Thanks to you, Nomi. I'm glad you're my friend." Randy hugged Nomi sweetly, making the red unicorn blushed from the sudden closeness.
"Your welcome. But sadly we have to part away. Maybe we won't be able to see each other again, but if we do promise you'll give me the biggest smile ever." Nomi said sadly at his friend. Randy was upset but he understands. Nomi is a unicorn so their job might be a bit difficult to do.
"Okay, I promise." Randy said and hugged Nomi for the final time before they parted away. Randy arrived at his home and saw his parents smiling at him while they are making dinner.
"Mom, dad, you'll never believe what just happened at the village!" Randy said excitedly. The parents smiled at their son, so energetic. And hey, he's not as sad as before.
"Really, what is it, sweety?" His mother, Ruby asked as she closed the fire and placed the food on the table. They all sat down to finally eat the yummy food.
"I was walking when I found this weird path, then I arrived at this beautiful garden and saw a unicorn named Nomi! He helped me to finally realize about myself and I helped him with his focus on magic, thus he got his cutie mark. Then we walked out from the garden and saw a thief stealing the older pegasus's bag so I chased him and got the bag back to her!" Randy explained excitedly. The parents got a bit worried.
"Really? Did you get hurt?" Jason Cunningham, Randy's father asked.
"I was about to when Nomi warned me about a knife that was about to attack me by that thief. I grab hold on the knife and yank it out from that thief's magic and made him fainted. Then I got a rope and tide him up so he can't move. Nomi used a spell to make the thief unable to use his magic for a while." The parents sighed in relief after hearing it.
"I see. What else?"
"Then, everypony cheered for me, including my friend. Then I got my cutie mark!" He showed his flank with his cutie mark.
"We are very proud of you, son." Jason said happily. Ruby nod.
"Thanks, but now I'm going to miss him..." He said sadly as he ate his dinner. The parents cheered him up saying that maybe one day it'll be okay.
A few years pass and Randy is a fully grown pony. He often help the villagers whenever they need him and he always smile for them. While Randy was walking he accidentally bumped into a pony with guards. He looked up to see an alicorn. He's a royal.
"Ah, I'm so sorry, your majesty!" He immediately bowed down to apologize. The alicorn looked at him with wonder.
"Randy?" He asked. Randy looked the alicorn shockingly.
"Uh, how did you know?" The alicorn smiled as he showed his cutie mark. The Norisu Nine.
"It's me, Nomi." He said. Randy teared up and hugged Nomi dearly. He flashes the biggest smile he ever give, as he promised. Everypony was surprised.
"Randy, you shouldn't do that! He's an alicorn, show him respect!"
"No no, it's okay. We're friends when we were fillies." Nomi said and hugged Randy back.
"You're an alicorn? How come you never tell about this?" Randy asked as he let go, wiping his tears.
"I was afraid that you might use me for fame, but after I get to know you you're different. I wanted to be your friend but my family might not let me. I'm really glad I found you, Randy." Nomi replied sweetly, calming Randy down.
"I see. Well, how's life being a royal?" Randy asked as they both walked together.
"It's boring, but now you're here it's more interesting." Nomi teased and they both laughed. Randy can feel his heart beating hard and fast. Nomi is special to him. A special pony... Crush? Maybe.
"Hey, Nomi? Aren't you going to choose your bride?" Randy asked as he remembered about a flyer about the new royal wedding for Nomi.
"Yeah, I am. But I've already chosen the lover." Nomi said with a smile. Randy went quiet.
"May I know who?" Nomi looked at Randy and smile, showed Randy a ring using his magic, the first magic spell he ever learned with Randy.
"It's you, Randy. The reason I went out is to find you. I want to ask you to marry me. So, will you?" Randy kissed Nomi after hearing his proposal.
"I will." They both closed their eyes as they are now newly wed. Randy somehow magically got himself a new horn and wings, making him a full alicorn. His parents are surprised to see their son getting married to one of the Norisu child.
"Are you guys proud of me?" Randy asked. The parents smiled.
"Of course we are, sweetheart. To be honest, we didn't expect you with the Norisu." His mother teased, making both of the couple blushed hard.
Soon, Randy and Nomi finally got their first child. The family were excited to see the child. Nomi came and showed then to the room, though he looked tired. Why?
"Let me warn you, seeing the baby will be a bit of a shock." He warned. His twin sister smiled. His whole family is there.
"Come on, brother. We all have seen babies before. We figure this little one is any different." They looked at the small young foul, who apparently has a horn. But it moves and shows who he really was.
An alicorn.
"Of course, we have to be wrong." Nomi's mother said.
"The baby is an alicorn?!" Nomichi said in surprise. Randy smiled tiredly as he grab hold on his son dearly.
"It seems like it."
"B-but I thought alicorns should be gifted as soon as they reach their proper test or something. How come he can be born like this?!" Randy's mother asked.
"A birth of a baby's alicorn magic is something we have never seen." Nomi said as he hugged his son.
"It is beyond our reasoning, but we figured that maybe it inherited by Nomi." Randy said, still continuing to love him anyway.
"I see. Well, take good care of him, sweety." Randy's mother said happily as she press gently on her grandson's nose.
Soon, Randy and Nomi got three more kids, one who's born as an albino alicorn pony while the other two are adopted, a pegasus and an Earth pony. Both parents loved their children for who they are and live happily ever after.
