"Nomi, I need to head out for a while. Can you stay until I get back?" Randy asked as he opened his house door. Nomi nod his head while reading the new book Randy had got for him.

"Sure, stay safe." Nomi said and waved before continuing reading his book. Randy mumbled something before closing the door with quite the force. Nomi got a bit surprised.

"What's up with him?" Nomi wondered a bit before continue reading his book.

6 hours pass and Randy didn't come home yet. Nomi got a bit worried but he trusted that Randy can defend himself. Soon, the house door opened showing Randy smiling at someone, waved and did a flying kiss before closing the door with a satisfied smile.

"Randy, where have you been?" Nomi asked quite strictly. Randy huffed a bit.

"Not your business, Nomicon. I'm going to my room." He said and slammed his bedroom door. Nomi was shocked at the ninja's action. What in the world is happening? He went to Randy's room and heard him talking to someone.

"Come on, dude! His face was priceless! Ah, you're right. That was funny." Randy said as he laugh. Nomi couldn't here what the other side of the phone said but he heard Randy's answer.

"Eh, you like me? Well, you're my friend. Of course I like you." He answered. There's a bit of quietness before Randy was stuttering.

"Y-you mean as a crush way? Oh, I didn't thought you would see me like that." Randy said, feeling shy somehow. What?! Nomi can feel his anger boiling inside of him. No one can have Randy except him!

"Sure, I'll meet you there. See you then, John. Love you too." Randy said and smiled as he hung up. Nomi can already felt jealousy inside of him. This won't do!

"He isn't that bad of a guy. Quite attractive. I guess I'll date him for now. Unlike Nomi, ugh. He's so blind... Why can't he notice my love to him. Better forget it for now." Randy said and went to take a shower. Nomi walked downstairs in jealousy.

"Randy shouldn't go to this John guy. I can't let him leave." He said to himself as he took a bite of a chocolate. But then, he thought to himself.

"But then again, it's Randy. A stubborn, idiot yet sweetest boy I've ever met... Perhaps we aren't compatible after all..." He finished his chocolate and went to the sofa to rest. Randy looked at Nomi and sighed before finishing his shower and went out secretly. Nomi got up and noticed Randy's disappearance. He only sighed and went into Randy's room to meditate.

"He wants to date this guy, it's up to him."

A few hours laters Nomi heard the door opened and Randy's noticable sobs. He turned around to see Randy crying a bit. What happened? Randy saw Nomi looking at him wondering before he rushed towards the bathroom. Something really did happen.

"Randy, what's wrong?" Nomi asked gently before trying to open the door. He can hear Randy's sobs in the bathroom.

"J-just leave me alone, Nomi. I'll be okay." Randy said and sounding like he was trying to smile but Nomi knew Randy is heart broken.

"Randy, let's just talk about it. Come on, I'll wait in your room." Nomi responded and walked towards the bedroom. Randy took a full 10 minutes before coming inside to see Nomi with a Nomicon on hand.

"H-here..." Randy said in his sad tone. Nomi signaled him to come closer and sat next to him. Randy did what he was told.

"So tell me, what's wrong?" Nomi asked as he opened the Nomicon. Randy sighed and wiped away his tears before saying anything.

"I was hanging out with John and he told me that he loves me. So we dated until his ex came in and took him away. He tried to get away from her but she just... Almost killed him and me. John almost sacrifice himself and had to say goodbye to me before he left me alone." He explained and wipe his tears away. Nomi was a bit confused.

"Then, why are you crying? He couldn't do anything about it." He said. Randy huffed.

"It's because no one was this kind to me to the point of protecting me before! I loved him but I have to move on from him... I had to let him go..." He said and started to cry again. Nomi sighed and took Randy inside of the Nomicon for him to relax.

"Randy, calm down. The ones you loved might always leave one day but that doesn't mean you have to cry over it. Here." Nomi made a forest inside of the Nomicon and a small bonfire to keep themselves warm.

"It's gonna get cold in here since it's night time so sit next to me. You'll be warmer." Nomi said and pulled Randy into a hug. Randy can feel warmth from Nomi and felt comfortable with him. The stars were twinkling in the sky as Randy lay his head on Nomi's shoulder. His face flushed as Nomi pulled him closer.

"Nomi, why are you doing this for me?" Randy asked. Nomi chuckled.

"You're my ninja, my student and my friend, Randy. Of course I have to make sure you're a bit happy so you can focus on your training. What? Do you really think that I'm doing this for fun? I'm more than that, ninja." He said and made some shooting stars. Randy stares at the sky in awe and smiled. Nomi is kinda right.

"Thanks, Nomi. I really appreciate it." Randy said and cuddled up with Nomi tightly. Nomi blushed a little before letting Randy cuddling with him. They both stares are at the sky together and talked about a few things. Randy soon was getting a bit tired but he still wants to talk to Nomi. The redhead chuckled and played with Randy's hair a bit.

"Randy, you may go to sleep. I'll make sure you're safe here." He said and let Randy sleeping on his chest. Randy yawned and closed his eyes to sleep. He opened a bit and kisses Nomi's cheek before falling asleep soundly.

Nomi was surprised by Randy's sudden kiss but he just smiled at the gesture. How cute of Randy doing that. He gently lifted Randy so Randy's head is on his shoulder and his arms wrapped around Nomi's chest. He let the young ninja sleep soundly as the night sky blankets them.

"Randy, sweetheart? Aren't you sleeping?" Randy's mom opened the door to see Randy with Nomi sleeping soundly on the bedroom floor with books around them. She giggled before taking a blanket and covering them. She then walked out of the room with a motherly smile.

"Goodnight, children."
