Randy, Nomi, Yuuki, Tengu, Theresa and Yooka had arrived at Japan, for their field trip and school holiday. But, instead of normal relaxing time, they ended up helping some phantom thieves in some very trouble thing.

"Let him go!" Kaitou Joker said as he tries to make them let go of his friend/rival, Akai Tsubasa. Akai is in a chamber filled with water, making him weak to even move or see. Randy was worried and so does the others.

"Poor boy! Nomi, is there something we can do?" Randy asked. Nomi looked at the situation then looked at Randy.

"I don't think I can, Randy. Maybe there's another way." He looked around and saw Yuuki looking at Joker, like she had experienced it. She walked up to them with a smirk.

"Ara Ara, what do we have here? Joker tries to take the poor boy back. You villain, how about you let the boy go?" She asked as she holds a card with burning flame. The heat then went straight to the water chamber by her blow. Akai woke up and smiled weakly, knowing that he's still okay.

"Oi! Yawning Jerk! Get up!" Joker yelled, but Akai was too weak to move. Yuuki walked towards the chamber with flames growing behind her. Randy then saw her eyes, signaling to get the red hair boy out of the water with Nomi while she's distracting him.

"Come on, Nomi." They rushed there quietly while Tengu, Theresa and Yooka helped Yuuki with Joker and Hachi, the young ninja.

"There's gotta be somehow to open this chamber." Randy said. Nomi stood a bit far since he doesn't like water much. He saw a button and pressed it, thus releasing Akai from the chamber. It was loud that the others can hear them.

"Come on, boy. Let's go!" Nomi handed his hand for Akai to reach. They made eye contact with a surprising face.

"You?" Akai asked.

"It can't be." Nomi continued. They rushed out when Joker took out his flaming card and escaped. They arrived at Joker's blimp somehow.

"Oi, Yawning Jerk! You should've been more careful! Mo, why are you so troublesome?" Joker complained as he wipes off the water from Akai's body. Nomi looked at Akai with a questioning look. Theresa, Yooka and Tengu were having a small tea provided by Hachi.

"So, how are you still here, Akai-San?" Nomi asked with a kind smile. Joker and Randy was surprised. How do they know each other?

"The question is; how am I still here? Ichi, I'm still stuck. Nii, I'm about to go home. San, I came again after sleeping for a while and to grant a promise." Akai said. Joker groaned.

"Stop answering questions with questions!" Joker said. Then,

"San!" The others answered. Joker groaned again.

"Oi, oi..." He said as he lay down.

"Bingo. Nomi, how are you?" Akai said.

"I'm well, and I still have the jewel." He took out a jewel, the inside has a cross in the middle.

"The Cross Jewel. You still had it huh?" Akai smiled. Then, Hoshii came and tried to eat the jewel.

"Hoshii!!" Hoshii (Acrux) nibbled the jewel. Akai chuckled.

"Acrux, that's not for you. Here, have some kompeito." Hoshii (Acrux) then ate the kompeito happily.

"How do you guys know each other?" Randy and Joker asked at the same time. Nomi chuckled.

"We met each other a long time ago, back before I was cursed. We become acquaintance and promised to be like that until the end." Akai nod his head agreement.

"That's right. It's been centuries actually. Or is it decades? Anyways, it's very long time."

"Oh." They all said in unison. Hoshii (Acrux) then jumped on Joker's head, smiling.

"Hoshii!" Joker panicked.

"Ahhh!!! Get away from me pseudo cat!!!" He yelled. Randy looked at him in awed.

"You are afraid of cats? I'm scared of chicken!" Randy confessed. They looked at each other before made a bro handshake.

"Similar." They said. Akai laughed.

"Me and Nomi had the same fears, which is water." Nomi chuckled as well.

"True."

After a while, it was starting to get late. Akai was on top of the blimp staring at the sky. Joker was behind him.

"Oi, Phoenix. What are you doing? Shouldn't you be sleeping like usual?" Joker asked worriedly. Akai only sighed.

"I'm fine. Just, trying to get used to the affection that you guys do." Joker sat next to him, placing his head on Akai's shoulder. Akai got surprised.

"I'm here, okay? I'll help you get use to it." Akai smiled. He was grateful that Joker was there for him. He gently grabbed Joker's chin and bringing it closer until they kissed. Of course, Joker kissed back. They didn't realized that Randy and Nomi were watching them from far behind, recording it for Yuuki.

"Woah, I never knew that." Nomi said in disbelief. Randy chuckled.

"You owe me, Nomi. I told you they love each other." Nomi rolled his eyes and kissed Randy's cheek. Then, they both went back to let the love birds (seriously, no pun intended) together under the shinning light of the moon with love.
