Nomi sighed as he placed the paperwork to the side. He look at his phone only to see that he was late to pick up his son he found in the alleyway one day and took him as his own. He rushed towards the kindergarten to pick him up, and saw the little one alone. He felt bad. He saw another person in there, a babysitter.

"Akai, I'm so sorry I'm late." He came in. The small child looked at the redhead and started to cry. The purpler hair babysitter sang a small lullaby to make the child go to sleep. Nomi was impressed.

"I'm really sorry. I was a bit busier than I thought... He didn't cause trouble did he?" Nomi asked, picking up Akai in his arms. Randy shook his head no.

"No, he's actually pretty quiet. He got bullied a lot so I decided to stay closer to him. Looks like he trusted me." He said smiling at the sleepy child.

"I see, I don't think I've seen you before. Your name?" Nomi asked.

"My name is Randy Cunningham. You can just call me Randy." Randy smiled sweetly. Nomi blush a little and smile.

"My name is Nomi Norisu, pleasure. I have to send this little one home now, see you tomorrow." He got up towards the door. Randy waves back.

"See you tomorrow, have a safe trip home." He said. Once Nomi is gone from his sight, he placed his hand on his chest, listening to the heartbeat that rapid a few minutes ago when he was talking to Nomi. It's somehow comforting. He sighed and cleaned up the kindergarten before heading home for the next day.

The next day, Randy was playing with the children and saw Akai coughing and sneezing. It happen after a few hours. He got worried and decided to take him to a health care for a simple checkup. After that, he called his father Nomi to tell him about Akai's condition.

"I'm on my way, tell Akai I'll be there and please take care of him." He said and hung up. Randy look at the small child sadly, he looked really ill. He picked him up and sang a soft lullaby to make the child to fall asleep peacefully as they waited for the father.

Nomi came in, surprised to see Akai was there with Randy holding him gently. He's a good babysitter, maybe one day he might be a good husband for a girl. He shook his thought and went to his son.

"How is he?" Nomi asked as he hold onto the child. Randy sighed.

"A fever. The doctor said that he might be in stress a few hours ago. Did something happen to your family that made him stress?" He asked once Nomi payed the bill and they both walked towards Nomi's home. Nomi shrugged.

"Nothing really happen much. I guess he was too lonely and he wanted some friends to play with, but I was too busy with work I barely spend time with him." He said, holding Akai. Randy thought a bit.

"If that's the case, do you want me to take care of him at home while you're busy at work? That way he won't be lonely as much." He asked with a sincere smile. Nomi nod.

"That might actually do, thanks." It's settled.

A few days later, Akai was surprised to see Randy in his home. He made happy sound and hugged him tightly.

"I'm glad you're just as excited as I am, Akai. Since the kindergarten made you an introvert, I guess I'll be here as a private babysitter for you. Is that okay?" He asked gently. Akai nod ferociously and Randy smiled.

"Not to hard, sweety." Randy has a habit of calling a lot of children in a motherly tone. Sweety, deary, baby, darling, plenty of more. He rarely gets angry too. One time Akai accidentally broke a plate and Randy only comfort him to calm him down. The floor was a bit wet so it's not his fault.

Nomi came back to see Akai and Randy talking to each other while preparing dinner. His food is delicious to say the least, Nomi thought. He came towards Akai and called him over.

"Hey Akai, you had fun?" He asked. Akai nod and hugged his dad.

"I miss you, dad... You always not here and I was bored without you. You're my dada so please come home soon." He said. Randy and Nomi was surprised. How can he talk like that? And understanding those words, how did he?

"Uh, Randy?" Nomi asked for answers.

"I have no idea." He replied and continue making dinner. He served it on the table and they all ate it happily, as if it was like a family would.

"Thank you, Randy. You helped us a lot now." Nomi said with a smile. Randy almost melt by that smile.

"N-no problem, always happy to help children." He said. Akai finished his food and vegetables and laughed.

"What's wrong, Akai? You like the food?" Nomi asked. Akai nod.

"I wove Mama's food!" He said. Randy smiled and Nomi almost chocked.

"M-mama?" He asked. Randy nod.

"At the kindergarten, the children always called me mama since I was a bit motherly. I got used to be calling as mama so it's not too bad." Randy explained and washed the dish in the sink. Nomi was surprised by the kindness that Randy give for Akai and the other kids. He was, touched.

"I see." He said and help washing the dishes.

A few days later, Akai and Randy are at the kindergarten with other children and babysitters. They talked and play for a bit until a stranger came in.

"Don't scream so no one gets hurt." He smiled. Randy got tired of it. Nomi on the other hand, came in at the right time.

"The only one who is getting hurt here, is you." He kicked the man's shin and "private area" until the man fell back. Nomi took his chance and threw the man on the floor, pining him down until he fainted.

"Is everyone okay?" He asked. The children were surprised.

"Hey, Akai! Isn't that your dad? He's so cool!" They said to the shy brown with red shade hair. Akai smiled and nod shyly. Aww, so cute.

"Thanks, Nomi. We appreciate your help." Randy hugged him. The other babysitter smirked while Nomi tried to hug him back. Akai walked towards them.

"Is mama my mama?" He asked. Randy and Nomi blushed. What a weird question from a 4 year old child.

"Uh, do you want to?" Nomi asked. Randy got surprised and Akai nod.

"Yay, I got mama!" He hugged Randy tightly. Randy was a blushing mess.

"Sorry Randy, but it's true. He wants you to be his mama, and honestly I want you to be his mama with his dad." Nomi said with a smile. Randy was melting at that point.

"Um, sure." He said and Nomi chuckled. He picked up Akai and whispered something in Randy's ear.

"See you at home, mama." He said and left with a thank you. Looks like Randy isn't getting away from that family at all.
