"Eh, you want me to help taking care of the kids?" Theresa asked as she wiped her sweats with her towel. Why does Randy asked her to take care of them?

"Yes, reasons is a bit personal but my home village needs me. There's some problems and I need to be there with my siblings. Use this device to call me since it'll be very far away to even use a phone." Randy explained. Theresa nod her head.

"Very well. In exchange?"

"I'll give you Tengu's number and his bracelet you always wanted." He smirked. Theresa blushed and hold outs her hand, shaking Randy's hand.

"Deal."

"Thanks Theresa. I owe you big time!" He then left. Theresa walked towards Yooka and Nomi who's talking with Steven about something.

"Hey guys? Mind helping me?" She asked as she placed her stuff in her locker. Nomi wondered.

"Why?" He asked.

"Randy asked me to help taking care of the kids at the kindergarten. We'll get something in return he said." She explained. Steven nod.

"I'll be free during lunch hour. I'll come by." He said and left for his math class. Nomi, Yooka and Theresa walked towards the kindergarten to see the kids playing around the garden area. They looked well behaved.

"Why are you here?" One of them said. Yuri, Yooka thought. She's pretty mature for her age.

"We'll be your caretakers while the Cunningham siblings are out." Theresa said. A little girl came by and hold her knees, indicated that she's accepting it. Nomi looked around, these kids doesn't seem to be naughty. In fact, they're pretty well behaved. When Nomi told him to clean up their toys, they actually did.

Nomi was surprised on how the Cunningham siblings managed to take care of this kids. Like seriously?! 50 kids, 3 pets and a baby? That's a lot of work. He managed to make the baby fall asleep more so that the little one can grow healthy. Soon enough, all the children are in a groups of two, three and five. Well, except for one child.

The child has brown with reddish hair, one red and blue eye with black clothes and red scarf. Akai, wasn't it? Ninja and Nomicon's child? He looked lonely.

"Hey, you okay?" Nomi asked. Akai nod.

"I'm fine. I'm just miss Randy... He's pretty fun to be with. We're supposed to meditate together but he left..." He explain. Nomi smiled for the kid.

"Hey, Akai. I can meditate with you." He said. Akai smiled.

"Really?! Thank you, Nomi!" He hugged Nomi tightly as if he was his dad. Nomi hugged him back. They both meditate for a while until they heard shouting. The kids were arguing with each other and Theresa was trying to calm them down.

"What happen?" Nomi asked.

"I don't know, they just started fighting." Theresa explained.

"Kids, why are you guys fighting?" Nomi asked sternly.

"There's a guy in the shadows over there... They've been staring." One child pointed at the shadow figure. Nomi stood in defense.

"Kids, stay back. I'll handle this." He said. Yuri chuckled.

"Silly Nomi. We've experience this more than you have thought." She then whistled, the kids went into position.

"Mike, you know the drill." She said. Mike, one of the child pressed a button on his bracelet arm and two robotics arms flew up towards the figure. Steven rushed towards the kindergarten to see them fighting.

"Maria, you're next!" Yuri said. Maria nod and closed her eyes, her special ribbons wrapped around the figure. He was trapped. Akai walked at him smiling.

"You should've come here sir. Bye bye!" He said. Yuri pulled a rope and tossed the figure away from the kindergarten all the way to the police station.

"What do you think?" She asked. Nomi was too speechless. So does Yooka, Theresa and Steven. These kids are something.

After a while, the kids fell asleep. Nomi and Theresa cleaned the place up while Yooka and Steven watched the kids. Nomi was still curious on how the Cunningham siblings taught them this. It's too impressive.

"I wonder..." He thought a bit then heard crying. It was Akai.

"What's wrong, Akai?" He asked. Akai sniffed.

"I just have a nightmare..." He said. Nomi nod.

"How does Randy cheer you up?" He asked. Akai shook his head.

"This is the first time..." He said. Nomi got worried. Theresa handed him the device Randy had gave before he left. Nomi pressed a button on it, showing Randy in rushing and fighting.

"Oh, hey Nomi! What's wrong?" He asked, dodging a few boxes. Nomi was surprised.

"What happen there?" He asked. Randy chuckled.

"It's fine. What is it?" He replied hiding behind a wall.

"Well, Akai got a nightmare. Do you know how to handle it?" Nomi asked, pulled the small child closer. Randy saddened his face.

"Aw, poor Akai. Don't worry. All you have to do is some milk and a lullaby. That's all." He said smiling. Nomi nod.

"Okay then. Stay safe Randy." Nomi said worriedly. Randy blushed a bit.

"Thank you, Nomi. I know you'll do a good job with the kids." He left. Nomi gave Akai milk and sang him a soft lullaby.

"Pweh, that's some work." Theresa said, sat down.

"Yeah, I need a breather." Steven said. Yooka nod. Nomi seemed to meditate to calm himself down.

The next day, the siblings came back and the children were happy to see them. Randy was thoughtful. While Yuuki and Tengu were playing with the kids, Randy hold the baby smiling.

"Thank you, Nomi, Theresa, Yooka and Steven. What do you wish for?" He asked. Theresa wink her eye and Randy nod. He gave her a paper with Tengu's number and his shirt. Steven got a bruce earphones and Yooka got a new set of headphone. Nomi however shook his head.

"I'm willing. It's fine." He said. Randy nod and smiled.

"How about we hangout? Should be fine enough right?" He asked. Nomi nod.

"Alright then." They both chuckled.

"So, was it hard?" The siblings asked. Theresa and the rest shook.

"Nope it was easy." They said. But looked away saying it was difficult. How funny don't you think, dear readers?
