The soon to be husband and wife excitedly went back home to share this happy news with them. Their family were delighted to know their right decision of getting married. Devi ma was squealing in happiness "seekram kootittu vaa da en marumagale" all of them were in smiles and sivaangi's home was filled with wishes and congratulations from her cousins and family in Kerala.

Days travelled super fast and ashwin with his family were gathered at sivaangi's home to decide and fix their engagement and marriage dates. All were discussing about the date, muhurtham, rituals and about the arrangements. Ashwin and sivaangi was left out as they didn't have much knowledge about the muhurtham and rituals. Ashwin quickly looked at sivaangi who was already looking at him. Ashwin tried to hide his smile with a smirk but ended up smiling at her wholeheartedly making her heart flutter.

Their family members were now used to their wordless communication between them. Vinayak who was sitting close to ashwin cleared his thought and whispered in his ears "Nan single bro...Maranthidathinge" his plead made ashwin rub his nape awkwardly.

They had planned for a simple engagement function at Coimbatore at his home with just the immediate family members and friends by the end of February. Ashwin being a private person wanted their functions to be as simple and intimate as possible without any media interference and sivaangi also agreed to it. Their marriage was fixed to the last week of April at Guruvayoor temple in kerala. Both of the family was also fine with their decision of a simple function instead of a grand big fat wedding.

Ashwin and sivaangi sat there looking at each other and ashwin gestured sivaangi to come upstairs. She nodded a no but his pleading made her decided to go with him. Ashwin excused himself for an important call and sivaangi too causally stood up and followed upstairs in the excuse to use washroom just like that and as both of them went, binni maa and devi maa chuckled at their kids eagerness to spend time with each other. Both of them felt happy with them getting married and getting settled in their lives.

Sivaangi roam around to find ashwin sitting on the wooden swing waiting for her. She went and sat near him as she placed her head on his shoulders. They sat there in silence as the light breeze brushed through their bodies sending chills on their body.

"Sivaangi maa" ashwin said as he looked at the sky

"Hmm" she answered turning to him

"We are getting engaged next month. How do you feel?" he asked as he looked down at her face

"Feels surreal. Kanavu mathiri thonuthu" she answered genuinely as he kissed her hairline

(Feels like dream)

"Enakkum ithu kanava illa nejama nu thonuthu ana excited aa irukku to spend a lifetime together with you" ashwin said smiling at her as she moved her head a little to see his face.

(I do feel the same but feeling excited at the same time)

"Namma fans kitte sollanom la?" sivaangi asked curiously

(We should tell our fans right?)

"Yeh soon" he said as they again sat there in silence just enjoying the weather and the light breeze enhancing the mood of many emotions that they were feeling at that moment.

The next week sivaangi was all set to learn driving from ashwin as decided before. Off lately she was finding it difficult to catch cab at off timings and she didn't want to depend on her father or ashwin. So she finally expressed her wish to learn driving which turned out to be a sweet shock to Krishna appa but he was happy at the same time to know his doll is trying to work on her insecurities and pass with flying colours.

As the early sun rays peeped into the sheer curtains of sivaangi's room. Her sleep was disturbed by the irritating voice of her alarm and she groaned in sleep. She aimlessly tapped the alarm shut and buried herself in the blanket. That was when it strike her, it was the very first day of her driving class and she was already late by half an hour.

"Ashwin is gonna screw me" her mind reminded her as she rushed to the washroom in jet speed to get ready for her learning session. She got ready in her tracks and went down to see ashwin fuming in anger.

"Madam, I appreciate your prompt time" ashwin sarcastically said as she gave an embarrassed smile "sorry ashwiney alarm sound kekkala"

(I missed my alarm)

"Kadaisi varekkum nee ippadiye velayattuthanam pannuven approm sorry ashwineyynu solla vendiayathu"

(You are always playful and then apologize for being so)

"Illa ashwiney I won't repeat this" she said with her puppy face and he couldn't unsee it.

"Hmm seri vaa moonjiye ippadi vechukathey" he stood up and sivaangi followed to their car.

(Don't keep your face like that)

It was still dawn when sivaangi got into the driver seat and ashwin sat beside her instructing the basics.

"Ok ma let's get started" ashwin declared and sivaangi started to feel tensed

"Ma naan irukken la bayapedathe. Just breath in and concentrate on my instructions carefully that's all" his assurance brought a smile on her face

(Don't feel scared)

"I'm ready manna" she said with a smile

"That's like my girl" ashwin guided her by being extra patient and she obediently paid heed to his instructions. Initially when she used to apply sudden breaks or accelerators his heart used to thud loudly but slowly sivaangi was improving day by day with her driving skills. He was happy and proud to see her trying her best and by three weeks she was pretty good in driving and she felt super proud of herself to shed her insecurities and pave a way to driving a car in the Chennai traffic smoothly.

Ashwin wanted to give her a reward for being successful in learning driving from him so he thought of a surprise for her. He leaned back and got a box wrapped from the back seat of his car and eyed sivaangi to open it. She eagerly opened the box to find an onion pink crop top and a shimmery black midi skirt.

"Wow ashwineyy it's pretty" she exclaimed

"It's for my pretty girl for a long drive"

She looked up at his face only to realize how close they were. Her eyes got lost once again in that deep ones which were filled with love for her.

"Long drive ah?" she asked raising her eyebrows

Ashwin nodded his head and sivaangi simply hugged him taking ashwin in surprise. She rested her head on his and felt his embrace with everything she was feeling at that moment. Was it because of happiness or feeling blessed, she couldn't name any particular feeling. Ashwin felt home at that moment. He felt happy. He felt complete.

"Can't wait" she said excitedly as they parted the hug.

"Then get ready by 7pm. I will pick you" ashwin said and she nodded positively moving inside her house all excited and happy like a kid.
