"Open the door kulukulu"

Sivaangi read the message and was in complete shock! She rushed to the door to see ashwin in a red sweatshirt with a bouquet of purple orchids

"I missed you sivaangi ma" ashwin hand over the orchids and gave a tight hug

"I missed you more manna" She felt home in his warmth and it was true that she was feeling homesick all these days. Sivaangi kept her ears close to his heart and listened to her favourite rhythm.

Sivaangi shut the door and made a way for ashwin towards her room placing his bag  and the flowers on the table side. Ashwin sat down on the bay window having the access to the beautiful blizzard mountain. Sivaangi went and sat near his leg facing her back to the chest of ashwin and said "Ashwiney I just can't believe that you're right in front of me"

"Ma naan un pinnadi irukken un munnadi illai" she turned to him giving a deadly glare to his uruttals

(I'm behind you not in front of you)

He put his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to his chest "Seri seri sorry. Schedule is done so thought of giving you a kutti surprise"

Sivaangi caressed his hands which was tightly placed over her waist and declared "You know I feel so blessed to have you. Neenga edukkara kutti kutti efforts make a huge impact on me"

(Even the small efforts that you take make a huge impact on me)

He moved to her neck inhaling her scent giving sivaangi chills over her lower body "Nee enakku kaatana anbukku ithu romba kutti ma"

(It's very less for the love you have showered on me)

Sivaangi took hold of his hand which was wrapping her waist. They were enjoying each other's presence and the scenic beauty through the glass window peacefully. By then sivaangi's phone buzzed putting a break to their peaceful time with each other.

It was her mom's call.

"Hello amma sollunga"

"Sivu ippo than da news paathen, interstate flights ellam intha week cancel aayidichu. Covid rise than reason."

(I just saw the news regarding the flights being cancelled for this week due to the covid rise)

Sivaangi could feel her mother's worried tone. She just acted normal not to make her mom panick. But inside she was getting really worried and said "Amma don't worry ...maybe 2,3 nalkku approm ellam seriyayidum"

(It's ok, Everything will be fine)

"Ok mole. Ashwin koode irukkathinale nee safe ah iruppen aanalum randuperum bhadrama iru. Seri kanna take care. Bye."

(You both take care and be safe)

"Bye amma"

Sivaangi end her call but she was disturbed as ashwin had shoot schedules for the next day making her even more worried. She was engaged in her thoughts when ashwin asked concernly seeing her worried face "Ennachu? Amma ethukku call panne? Ellam ok thane?

(What's the matter? Is everything fine?)

"Actually as covid cases have increased,  interstate flights have been cancelled for this week. You don't worry .We can do something" she tried to calm ashwin but it went off with no use

"Eppadi ma? Enakkage shooting postpone solla mudiyathu. What will I do now?" He was really tensed as if what to do next

(What can I do now? The shooting cannot be postponed just for me)

"Chill manna ethachu solution kedakkum. Till then calm down. Vena na ungalkku chill panren" sivaangi tried to get closer to him

(Just relax. We will get some solution. Till then shall I make your mood better?)

Ashwin in his tension pushed sivaangi away "Enna ma? Na ingae tension aayirikken ana nee un paatukku romance panna variya? Unakku konjam koode maturity illaya?

(What are you doing? I'm feeling tensed and you're talking about romance. Don't you have some maturity?)

That was it. Her eyes welled up and she hurriedly went outside her room with a strong thud on the door.

Ashwin stood there closing his eyes in guilt making him realize what he just did to sivaangi. He swiftly ran towards the door to see no one outside the door making ashwin panic.

He went near the reception to ask about her but there was no use.

He felt like the world around him was trembling down.

"Sivaangi ma please ma sorry. Enga irunthalum please en kann munadi va"
