Next day Sanyukta also came to the office early. She knocked Randhir's cabin door and entered.

"Kya baat hai, aaj itni jaldi?" Randhir asked, raising his brows.

"Wo sir aagar Harsh sir ne aap par trust karke aap ko project head banaya hai toh mujhe vi trust karke aap ka partner banaya hai. Main unhen let down kaise kar sakti hu sir!" Sanyukta replied, raising her brows.

"It's Randhir." He said instantly.

"What sir?" She asked confusingly.

"Call me Randhir." He said again.

"What! Main aap ko naam se kaise bula sakti hu sir?" She asked shockingly.

"Waise, jaise main tumhe tumhare naam se bulata hu." He shrugged his shoulders.

"But sir…main kaise!" She hesitated.

"Dekho abhi abhi tumne kaha ke hum partners hain, toh ek partner dusre partner ko sir nahi bol sakti. You should call me Randhir, okay!" He said casually.

"Okay sir." She said when he rolled his eyes.

"I mean Raandhiirr!" She hesitated thus he chuckled a little.

"Okay now sit." He said thus she sat down.

"Aap kab aaye?" She asked thus he looked at her.

"Phir aap! Abhi keya bola maine tumhe?" He raised his brows.

"Matlab tum." She said hesitantly.

"Just now." He shrugged his shoulders. They started working together. Randhir was time to time steals glances of her when Sanyukta was lost in her work.

"Ohh it's late, enough for today. Let's continue tomorrow." Randhir said checking the time.

"Okay sir, I mean Randhir." She hesitated again thus he smiled.

Sanyukta was waiting for an auto when Randhir's car came and stopped in front of her.

"Hey Sanyukta, get in. I'll drop you." Randhir smiled at her.

"No no it's okay, main auto se chali jaungi." She replied.

"But it's not safe Sanyukta and it's too late now, come on please let me drop you." He insisted that she agreed.

"Thank you sir, I mean Randhir." Sanyukta said.

"Come on Sanyukta, ek friend ko kaisa thank you!" He said thus she looked at him.

"Friend!" She raised her brows.

"I know hum partners hain but friend sounds good na!" He said with a smile.

"But..."

"Okay okay, I know maine tumhe friendship ke liye nahi pucha, aab puch leta hu!" He stopped the car and forwarded his hand.

"So Miss Sanyukta will you be my friend, for ever?" He asked dramatically, thus she couldn't help but smile.

"Yes Mr. Randhir I'll be your friend, for ever." She shakes her hand with him.

"Deal?"

"Deal."

They both smiled in unison and Randhir started the car.

"Okay tomorrow morning at my cabin, okay friend!"

"Okay friend." Sanyukta left when Randhir smirked looking at her retreating figure.

"So boss progress kaha tak huyi?" Sahil asked, sipping his drink.

"Abhi abhi ghar chhod kar aaya hu." Randhir replied, sipping his drink.

"Usne andar nahi bulaya?" Sahil gave a cocky smile.

"Aare aaj hi toh friend banaya use! Aur tu andar jane ka baat kar raha hai!" He shrugged his shoulders.

"Tujhe nahi lagta tu ek ladki par kuch jyada hi time spend kar raha hai, that's not Randhir's style! I think you lost your charm dude!" Sahil mocked him.

"Have patients dude, Randhir ki charm se aaj tak koi ladki bach payi hain! Aaisa jaal bichayunga na machhli bach kar kaha jayegi! Aaj nahi toh kal use mera hona hi hain, so chill dude." And Randhir grinned devilishly.

Next day, Sanyukta entered Randhir's cabin and saw him watering the cactus, she was surprised.

"Yeh tum kya kar rahe ho?" She asked surprisingly.

"Apne friend ke diye huye gift ki care kar raha hu." He replied casually.

"Gift!" She asked confusingly.

"Yeah, mere ek special friend hain jisne mujhe humari first meeting mein yeh special gift diya tha." Randhir smiled at her, thus she felt embarrassed.

"I'm sorry for that." She lowered her lashes.

"No Sanyukta it's perfectly alright. I was wrong." She looked at him.

"Maine tumhe impress karne ke liye wo flowers bheje, I'm sorry." He apologized.

"No it's okay." She replied slowly.

"But main kya karu tum ho hi itni beautiful!" He said thus she blushed.

"Thank you." Sanyukta smiled a little.

"You are welcome." He smiled brightly.

"Now let's work." He said thus she nodded positively.

Days rolled on, their friendship went to another lavel. Randhir got busy with his work when Sanyukta helped him all the way. Finally the day of presentation came, Mittal's were came for the presentation. Randhir entered Sanyukta's cabin and saw her sitting, lowering her head.

"Come on Sanyukta, they have already arrived." Randhir said thus she looked up.

"Randhir tumne mujhe presentation dene ke liye kyu bola?" Sanyukta asked, looking at him.

"Cause you are the best." He showed her the thumbs up.

"But I'm so nervous!" She said helplessly.

"Do you trust me?" He asked pulled her up from the chair.

"Of course I trust you Randhir." Sanyukta replied.

"And I trust you. So you too believe in yourself and just rock the presentation." He winked at her thus she smiled confidently.

"Wow Sanyukta, that was splendid!" Harsh appreciated looking at her when everyone in the boardroom clapped. Randhir showed his thumbs up between the claps and Sanyukta smiled.

"So Mr. Shekhawat the deal is yours." Mr. Mittal said, stretching his hand.

"Thank you Mr. Mittal." Harsh said, grabbing his hand.

"Congratulations, we got the deal. You both did an excellent job." Mr. Harsh chipped to Randhir and Sanyukta after bidding a goodbye to Mittal's.

"Thank you sir." Both said in unison.

"So I am going to throw a party tonight for our success." Harsh said thus both get excited.

"Wow party, cool dad!" Randhir said in amazement.

"Just for your hard work son, so enjoy." Sanyukta, you have to come to the party also.

"Yeah sure sir, I'll." She replied.

"So excuse me guys, I have to announce the party to other staff too." And Harsh left.

"Yes...yes...yes, we get the deal. Randhir we get it." Sanyukta jumped in excitement and hugged him tightly. Randhir smirked and hugged her back when she broke the hug immediately.

"I…I...I am sorry." She said avoiding her gaze with him.

"Hey it's okay, told you...you did it!" He said casually.

"We did it." She smiled at her, he also smiled.

"Let's go." He said, grabbing his car keys.

"Where?" She asked surprisingly.

"It's time for celebration." He replied.

"Celebration?" She asked confusingly.

"Yeap, deal crack karne ki khushi mein ek treat toh banti hain na!" He played with his brows.

"Treat!" She hesitated.

"Come on, let's go." He caught her wrist and came out from the cabin.

"We should ask sir once before leaving." She said as they entered the lift.

"Chill, hum sirf lunch ke liye jaa rahe hain. Aur dad itna excited hain ke aaj toh har galti maaf! Thanks to you!" He bent down a little in front of her thus she giggled. Just then the lift stopped with a jerk.

"Randhir yeh lift kaise ruk gayi?" She asked, getting nervous.

"Don't worry abhi start ho jayega." He replied and came a little closer to her.

"You are lucky dude, aisa chance roz roz nahi milta!" He thought and smirked inwardly and tried to touch her shoulder.

"Please god jaldi start kar do!" She prayed and opened her eyes.

"Aahhhhh..." And she screamed loudly. Randhir who was about to touch her shoulder just backed off.

"Wh...what happened Sanyukta, why are you shouting?" He asked shockingly When she almost ran into his arms.

"Wo...wo...waha!" She pointed at the ceiling. Randhir looked up and saw a cockroach there.

"There is a cockroach Randhir." She said when he wrapped his arms around her, she was so scared to notice that.

"Mujhe cockroach se bahut darr lagta hain Randhir." Sanyukta said, almost glued with him.

"Don't worry, I'm here!" He said after smelling her hair.

"Use please bhagao na!" She said getting panicked.

"Don't worry chala jayega!" He said near her ear and about to hide his face into her crock, just then the cockroach left.

"Chala gaya...chala gaya..." She screamed and he left her.

"Thank god." She took a sigh of relief when he shook his head in disappointment, just then the lift started.

"Thank god, yeh bhi chalu ho gaya." She said, looking at him.

"I told you." He smiled.

"What the… itna achchha mauka tha! Hopeless!" He groaned. Soon the lift reached the ground floor.

"Come." She said, looking at him.

"Yeah." He composed himself and both came out and went to the parking lot. Soon his car stopped in front of a five star hotel, she looked at him curiously then thought it's normal for him as he was habituated with a luxurious life.

"Come."

She was lost in her thoughts when he called her, she followed him not uttering a word and they entered into a beautiful restaurant. She widened her eyes to see the beautiful restaurant which she had only dreamt about. They sat in silence, her eyes rolled every corner when his eyes fixed on her. Her gaze fell on him and he raised his brows. She nodded nervously just then his eyes lit up to see something, she followed his gaze and saw a waiter came. He placed a delicious looking black forest cake on the table. She glanced once at the heavenly looking cake then looked at him curiously when he lit up the candle and forwarded the cake to her and said.

"Thank you." Randhir said.

"Thank you?" Sanyukta raised her brows.

"Thank you for helping me all the way Sanyukta, thank you very much." He placed his palm over her.

"Iss mein thanx kaisi Randhir, it's my duty." She said, taking her hand back.

"And thank you for trusting me, tumhare help aur support ke bina main aaj wo presentation nahi de pati!" She smiled.

"Aare that's my duty too, to help my friend." He said thus she smiled.

"Now please cut the cake, it's for your victory." He forwarded the knife to her.

"Our victory, so we cut it together." She smiled brightly and both cut it together and fed each other.

"What are you thinking?" He asked after giving the order.

"No, it's less important." She replied.

"I'll decide is it much or less, so speak up!" He said dramatically thus she couldn't help but smile.

"Wo actually evening ko party hai so I think I'll go for shopping as I don't have any party wear to wear." She said when he listen to her silently. After having their lunch they came out. Randhir started the car and after some time the car stopped in front of a huge mall.

"Let's go." He said when she looked at him surprisingly.

"What, I have to shop for the party too. I have also looked good in the evening, not only you!" He pouted thus she giggled.

"Ma'am you look gorgeous on this dress, just take a look." The sales girl said, showing her a knee length navy blue party wear.

"No, show something else." She denied.

"But Sanyukta this dress is pretty much then why something else, you please pack it." He said to the sales girl.

"But Randhir..." She was about to say something but stopped by him.

"Don't doubt my opinion, Sanyukta." He shook his head.

"Sir these accessories increase ma'am's beauty for sure." The sales girl said with a smile.

"You think so, then pack them also." He shrugged his shoulders.

"Randhir yeh keya..."

"Shhh...relax Sanyukta." He made her stop when taking a bracelet.

"Everything should be there where it's meant to be." He said wearing the bracelet on her wrist.

As evening came, Sanyukta got ready in that navy blue dress which he gifted her. She was about to deny but his emotional speech made her weak and she accepted that. She slightly curled her hair and let them open and did minimal make up. Just then her cell beeped with a massage.

"Venue of the party was changed. I'm sending the car for you, please don't be late. -Randhir."

She rolled her eyes then came out and saw his ferrari in front of her apartment. Without wasting any time she sat in the car. Driver starts the car and soon it's entered at a farm house.

"Aare driver yeh kaha laye, yeha toh koi nahi dikh raha!" She asked surprisingly.

"Ji ma'am sir ne yehi lane ko bola tha aap ko." Driver replied slowly.

Sanyukta was surprised and came out from the car. She took slow steps and entered the house next.
