Staflight landed on a branch, she searched for food. Not after long her observant eyes spotted a small chipmunk resting on a branch, it wasn't dead but it was still food. Ha, ha! It's focused on something! It will never see me coming. She shifted on the branch trying to get a better look, her wing brushed a branch and fell to the ground and landed with a loud clash. The chipmunks head flew up and tail started twitching wildly, it was now or never. She pumped her wings to catch air and plummeted to the ground in a dive. When she was only five wing beats away she opened her wings and banked into the air. The hunt was on.
The rodent was quick to notice and was off, she pumped her wings as fast as she could.  The chipmunk took a sharp turn making her shift her flight feathers in an awkward way and turn her wings in an uncomfortable way, she barely made the turn. Starflight soon new that it would be over and opened her talons. She prepared her talons to shut and squeeze them at the slightest feeling. That's how mom taught me.
    Said a voice in her head. No, I can't think about mom right now. She's dead and I can't do anything about it. She felt something right then and her talons snapped shut. She was successful, she lifted off but the weight of the chipmunk was heavy and would take hours to get home, and it was almost dark.
She let out a call. I was very tempting to eat the rodent while she was waiting for someone to help, it had been three moons since she had eaten. Soon she could hear wing beats in the distance. FINALLY. She recognized one as her brother Shadow, "Hey, what's the matter? If your here to shove in my face that I haven't made a successful hunt in five moons I won't find it very funny."
He said his voice stern. "No, no. I need help getting this home,"
she said ripping it into three pieces. "You take that piece, You take that piece and I take this piece.
And with that they flew off. what a clear sky. She thought
