(Pic is Cyborg)

When Raven awoke, she was in a field of grass. The sky was a pretty shade of pink, slowing turning to yellow, then orange, then red as it got closer to the horizon.

"Hello, Raven," a she-cat's voice rang out. Raven whipped around to see a light brown tabby with silver patches and blazing hazel eyes standing before her. The she-cat looked solid, though Raven could see stars dappled around her.

"I am Willowleap, it is a pleasure to finally be able to make your acquaintance."

"Uh, hi?" Raven said awkwardly. This she-cat, Willowleap, had known her real name, that meant she knew that this was just a spell.

"I have come to inform you that I and a few others know if your... spell, of sorts," Willowleap said. A cream tom with dark brown eyes appeared, followed by a silver and gray tabby she-cat with green eyes, a gray tabby tom with blue eyes, and an orange-yellow tom with yellow eyes.

"That's Sunclaw, Ivyleaf, Stormpelt, and Flarestar," Willowpelt introduced, pointing to each cat.

Once again, Raven gave an awkward hello before Flarestar stepped forward.

"We realize that you are stuck I this realm with no magic, therefor you cannot take you and your friends home."

"We've realized that the only way your getting home is if you complete something, a task of sorts," Stormpelt said, stepping forward.

"We are unaware of what this task is, but we will try to help you as much as possible," Sunclaw said.

Ivyleaf stood up and looked Ravenpaw over. "Although not from this dimension, my son has chosen a good apprentice to teach."

"Your son?" Ravenpaw asked. "Ravenfire in your son?"

Ivyleaf nodded. "We have thought long and hard about it, and have come to the conclusion that the task may not fall directly on your shoulders. That your comrades may or may not have to help."

Raven looked thoughtful for a moment. "So you're telling me, that if I want to get home I have to complete a task?"

"In a way, yes," Willowleap said, sitting down.

"Is that all?" Raven asked.

Willowleap smiled a little. "Yes, that is all."

And then the dream began to fade.

Raven jolted awake, her vision cloudy from sleep. She looked up at the sky and realized it was still dark out, but sunlight was beginning to fade in.

Standing up and yawning, Ravenpaw stretched her body, feeling her spine give a few satisfying pops.

She looked around and found a puddle over by the entrance of the camp, and walked over to get a drink.

As she walked by, she gave Hazelbreeze a nod.

Pythonpaw was jut getting up as she walked back over, stretching like Ravenpaw had. "Mornin'," the purple-eyed she-cat said, shaking out her pelt,

"Mornin'," Pythonpaw yawned, standing up and giving himself a quick shake.

"Good morning, Ravenpaw," Ravensfire's voice came from across the clearing, as the brown tabby tom dismissed the two watching warriors to go get some sleep.

The sun had now risen mostly above the horizon, and cats were beginning to wake up.

"What'd'you say we hit the training patch early? We could beat the other apprentices there and get a good spot," Ravenfire suggested, nodding towards the camp entrance.

Raven nodded and allowed the older tom to lead her out of camp, giving Pythonpaw a quick goodbye.

When they reached the training area, the sun was fully off the horizon, the light stretching across the WindClan territory.

Ravenpaw wandered how ThunderClan and ShadowClan did it, living in the darkness of the trees with not nearly as much sunlight.

She was caught off guard as Ravenfire lunged in for an attack, and she just barely dodged.

"Hmm. Great reflexes, even when lost in thought," Ravenfire said, as though assessing her. "You certainly have potential, Kit. You may even be as good as the warrior you're being trained by, someday."

"Maybe sooner than you think," Ravenpaw teased lightly, before lunging towards him.

Ravenfire dodged the attack and ran his sheathed claws down Ravenpaw's side. Growling at her mistake, the now in control apprentice lunged again, this time rolling to the side. Ravenfire wasn't quite expecting that, but he still retaliated faster than Ravenpaw could.

Leaping forward, the brown tabby pinned her beneath him.

"Like I said, potential, but not yet," he said. Ravenpaw nodded. From the back of her mind, Raven thought.

The tom had great reflexes, almost as good as Robin's had been. Raven could have beaten Robin in a sparring match any day, without magic, but this tom was different. His dodging reflexes were almost as good, but his retaliation was much quicker.

Ravenpaw, on the other paw, was listening intently as Ravenfire explained the basic hunting crouch. She took in each word silently, and copied his movements almost precisely, having to get a few adjustments every now and again.

By sunhigh, Ravenpaw had mastered the hunting crouch, learned a few pounces, and tried a few different defense tactics, basic as they were.

"What do you say we head back to camp and get something to eat? We can spend the rest of the evening hunting. If you do as good as you did yesterday, I have no doubt we'll come back with a good haul."

Ravenpaw nodded, and the two made their way back to camp.
