Raven followed the cats into the forest, looking around. The forest was huge! The cats obviously new there way well, they steered there way through the forest with confidence. Eventually, the cats came to a large clearing. Raven was overpowered by the strong smell of cats. There were dens on the edges of the clearing. The tabby tom stalked forward and ducked into a den cut into rock. Raven pricked her ears in time to hear the low voice of the tabby say "... There's a rogue, of some sort, out there who wants to talk to you." "Really?" replied a voice Raven was sure she recognized. Raven's heart quickened as the tabby came out of the den, followed by a gray tom with deep, blue eyes. Raven dipped her head to him as he padded up to her. "Greetings". He meowed as he stopped in front of her, and than looking more close lay at her, "have we met"? He asked. "Er.... Yes...". Raven replied awkwardly, glancing around Raven realized that other cats had come out of there dens to watch she murmured to Cloudstar, " um, can we... Talk?, Er... Privately"? Cloudstar frowned slightly and than nodded. The cats parted whispering, as Cloudstar and raven passed. The two cats walked through the forest in, silence until they reached a sandy hollow. Cloudstar then turned to Raven and asked, "so... who are you? I just, feel like I know you....." "My name is Raven", Raven began hesitantly, "eleven seasons ago I was washed away by a flooded stream"- "Ravenkit?!" Cloudstar squeaked, sounding like a kit himself. Raven dipped her head in answer. Cloudstar rushed forward, and brushed his muzzle with hers, purring loudly. I'm so glad your back, it was so hard, without you"!  He exclaimed, "Wait till' mother  sees"-"Mother?! What do you mean Mother? Wouldn't father be happy to?" Raven cut in, and then a sudden Foreboding passed over her "He's not-" "Yes, he is, a badger attacked him when he was hunting alone." Cloudstar meowed the happy fire in his eyes seemed to go out for a second. Raven sat still for awhile wave, after wave of grief crashing over her. "Best get back to camp," Cloudstar said after a while. The cats were still waiting in the clearing when Raven and Cloudstar came in, and they listened in wide eyed silence as Raven and Cloudstar explained everything. At the end of there Story a cat screeched with pure joy and rushed towards Raven, her eyes were bright with happiness. "My beautiful, Wonderful, kit"! Exclaimed the cat. "M- Mother"? Stammered Raven. "Yes"! Exclaimed the she-cat still pressing herself to Raven. The rest of the evening passed, with Raven being introduced to many different cats.
