I've never seen this man before. He seems to be fourteen or so. He has brown hair and red eyes.

"Your name is Sora, correct?"

"... Yeah..." I said carefully.

How does he know my name?!! And how informal he is, using my first name when we haven't even met!

"Will you sign this contract?" he gave a piece of paper to me, but knowing what my mom said about reading the contract thoroughly before you sign a contract, I read it.

Hitachi Sora will get a job that pays enough to put his mom out of work, but in return, he will house Samichi Rickie and will have little free time. Samachi Rickie will go to Hitachi Sora's school with him, and the said boys will, after school, fight demons, monsters, and maybe other foul beings. Raven wings will be attached to Hitachi Sora, and he will evolve into a being far beyond humans. He will have increased attributes including intelligence, strength, and speed, but he will look the exact same, unless his wings are out. Hitachi Sora and Samachi Rickie will become partners as they fight foul beings, as long as this contract is signed.

"No way!! I'm not doing something so dangerous!!" I squeaked, giving it back to him hastily.

"... If you do not sign this contract, you'll be attacked. And won't be able to save yourself or help anyone around you."

"As if I'd sign something like that!! My mother warned me about stupid contracts, and this is one of those crazy situations!! Bye and never come back!!" I ran off.

"... You might want to keep the contract...." He sighed, "I guess I'll have to watch him a bit longer."

Little did I know... signing that contract would be the easiest thing I'd ever do from that point on.
