Mission Kira-possible

Kira's P.O.V

Me: RUN ... RUN for your life D, Shane's coming...

Devon: SHIT... okay ... Kira, I don't know what to do.

Me: Go to your cousins, who live two towns down, let me cool him off then I'll message you.

Devon: I didn't even do anything.

Me: I know but he won't believe anything you say. Just leave so that man and I can calm him down. He's pissed at Lacey too.

Devon: I don't give a fuck about her and hell I don't even know her. WTF?

Me: Stop texting and leave. Call me when you get there.

Devon: Okay ... be careful.

Aunty P and I started pacing around the living room while we waited and wondered what chaos Shane might create over this situation. The calm and collective brother I always relied on would turn into the chainsaw massacre guy over this, I'm sure.

"He's never acted like this" Aunty P slumped herself down on the beige leather sofa that was pushed up against the back wall opposite the TV.

"I don't know why would someone do this...?" I kept checking my cell phone every 30 seconds.

"Who do you think did this?"

"Vera... I'm sure of it..." light bulb moment! "I'll be right back"

"Hello?" After 5 rings he finally picked up the phone.

"Did you just wake up?" I asked realizing his voice hoarse and graveled.

"Yeah, is something wrong?" Caleb cleared his throat sounding more alter.

"I need your help... I didn't know who I could trust but I kinda need you to come to my house right now..." I pleaded, however, he took it as a command.

"Bossy eh?" I could physically picture him smirking at that remark.

"Something bad happened... come over and I'll explain... I need your help tho... Mom made breakfast... so just come over okay?" I asked sincerely knowing that he's the only hope I have left to help me clean this mess up.

"Sure, are you okay Kira?" He sounded genuinely worried.

"I'm fine but Shane isn't, don't worry, just come okay?" I was getting agitated for some reason.

"Fine, see ya in a bit."

"See ya." I disconnected the call and opened the image what Shane forwarded me. I couldn't have been more disgusted by what was right in front of my eyes, however, looking at it carefully the whole scenery appears to be a set.

I definitely knew that but Shane was incapable of digesting what I and Aunty P fed him. Even he knew it was a plan to hurt Shane and Lacey but that information still didn't fit well with Shane, who is currently running all the red lights to Devon's house.

When Devon dragged me out of bed in the morning that he woke up with Lacey – naked – next to him, we decided that we wouldn't come forward with any allegations or confrontations with anyone.

However, someone with a death wish decided to capture the moment of both lifeless half-naked bodies, tangled up with one another with a comforter only hiding their lower part of the body. I was also glad at the fact that Lacey's back was turned towards the camera which I knew for sure she would have been ashamed of.

After half an hour of painful wait, we heard faint tire screeching against the road that lay in front of our house. Eagerly we both speeds walked towards the door hoping that Shane has returned from his rave and hadn't killed anyone but we were both greeted by a boyish smile that danced on Caleb's brown tanned tinted face.

"Ladies..." He cooked an eyebrow at us.

"Mom this is Caleb...Brody's brother. he's in my grade." I explained motioning for him to come in.

"Nice to meet you son..." Aunty P trailed off with a confused look on her face which Caleb was mirroring.

"Well, I had a plan to get the truth out but I needed help so I asked Caleb..." I explained to her before turning my head to the boy with the lost puppy look swiped across his face. "I need to show you something."

After thoroughly explaining to him what exactly happened last night and this morning he seemed overly surprised.

"That's just twisted, why would anyone do that?" He scrunched up his nose.

"I don't know but, Shane didn't come home last night 'cause he was looking for Lacey then this morning he got this an anonymous text." I explained.

"What exactly do you have in mind?" The mischievous grin crept back on to his lips.

"An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth, BUT, we need to wait till its Monday." I sighed.

Shane came home wasted around midnight, his aura reeked of strong alcohol. This startled Aunty P for a while before she could comprehend Shane's behavior and came to the conclusion that he was truly heartbroken. I took his half unconscious state as a cue to steal his phone and text myself Lacey's number.

Me: It's Kira, what's your address I need to speak to you.

Lacey: I honestly don't feel like seeing anyone right now.

Me: If you want Shane back then you will.

Lacey: You actually believe that I didn't do anything.

Me: OF COURSE... I know Devon wouldn't go behind Maya's back. He doesn't even know you.

Lacey: Okay.

I informed Aunty P that I was going to her house to clear things up and told her to call Tim and bring Nathan over if she needed any help. Although it was a glum situation, my suggestion created a faint smile across her face, she was worried about Shane and so was I. He was the one who was there for me at my lowest and now it's my turn to return the favor.

When I rang the doorbell, a short strawberry blond haired lady, around her early 40s opened the door for me, her expression mimicked Aunty P's expression which made me slightly more comfortable before marching into her house.

"Tell me EVERYTHING from the beginning." I propped myself on Lacey's bed leaning against the headboard. She mimicked my position, however, her face was no longer bronze and slim. Tears trickling down her rosy cheeks and her under eye bags were plumed from all the waterworks that her gloomy grey eyes were creating.

"Gosh, it's like Niagara Falls up in your eyes." My remark made her let out a small unwanted smile which soon was replaced by a frown.

"I ju-st don't know" She sobbed.

"Look, I know you didn't do anything but Shane isn't buying it so I need to find the person who was behind this so he can kill him or her." I placed my hand on her arm.

"He was so mad Kira, it hurt so badly when he called me a whore and he said I was just like the other girls." She curled up into a ball pulling her comforter up to her chest.

"I know he doesn't mean that, trust me he never confessed his love for anyone like that in front of anyone. I know he really, really likes you but he feels betrayed, I know he feels that..." I sighed trying to keep a strong voice and face.

"What do you mean?" She whispered.

"When you think you found the person who will never hurt you, ends up hurting you." I tried to block away the thoughts that started to rush back into my mind about Aden.

"I don't know what to do." She whimpered.

"What the fuck happened? tell me, last I saw you... you were sticking your tongue down my brother's throat." I flailed my hands about.

"Well I was with him all the time and then Brody and a few guys called him over for some reason and I was alone so Saira came up to me and started talking to me..." She paused for a few seconds "She was surprisingly nice to me, she told me I was lucky that he loved me so much and told me to stay clear of Vera. I thought she would hate me." She sounded surprised.

"Saira has nothing against you, trust me she's a sweetheart. I've known her long enough to know she would never hurt anyone." I defended her even more.

"I know, she even stood up for me when Vera tried to say anything to me with her little posy. Then Shane came back with Brody and with some other people hung out till late." She wiped her tears away still fixed in her fetus position.

"We were all in the kitchen and the guys were playing beer bong and ..." She paused when we heard faded conversation downstairs. I turned to Lacey to know what exactly was going on when we heard a steady thudding noise getting louder and louder by seconds when a quirky redhead girl stormed into the room.
