Kisses and wax strips

School finished quicker than I expected and recently I've been coming back with Caleb to his house until Shane would come to get me after he left Lacey's house.

Apparently they were going strong but I haven't seen much of them around together due to last minute intense football practices which Caleb attends now as well due to the fact he got in to the team.

"I need to shave." Caleb stated rubbing his chin and jawline full of long stubbles. "This movember isn't really my thing." He glanced at himself in the mirror on the left side of his room while I sat in the middle of his bed watching his reflection make different poses.

"I kinda find it sexy." I cooed teasingly leaning back on the headboard knowing it would drive him crazy. Before I could even react, his large frame was pinning me down, preventing me from escaping like I always do after I got him worked up.

"It's not nice to work up a man and then leave him hanging." His long stubbles grazed against my cheeks when he spoke and before I had the chance to reply, his lips attacked mine savouring every inch of it.

My hands instantly went to the back of his head, interlacing my fingers with his soft raven hair which I loved tugging at every time we kissed. Suddenly a thought entered my head when the feel of his stubble became rough against my skin.

"Oh my God, let me try and shave you." I suggested excitedly pulling away from the kiss.

"Where?" He questioned with a serious look on his face making me laugh.

"Where ever you want." I choked out making myself laugh harder.

"Face Kira, just the face, you're not going anywhere near Billy." He stated before climbing off the bed making me hunch over in pain while tears of laughter spilled out of my eyes when I heard him call his little friend Billy. "Stop laughing and shave me woman."

"Why... name it billy...?" I kept rolling around on his bed trying to muffle the sound of my laughter in one of his pillows.

"Because it's big, now come on..." He wined, like a little kid with a gillette fusion razor in his hand. After what felt like an hour, my laughter finally died down and I made my way to his bathroom where I saw his shirtless toned body with shaving foam on his face.

Although this isn't the first time I've seen him shirtless but every time I do, my chest aches from all the scars that are painted across his chest, abdomen and back, yet he was still sexy as hell.

"Like what you see?" He smirked with a face full of white fluffy cream making him look like a hot Father Christmas. And there goes my childhood...

"Always..." I laughed at that thought getting closer to him.

"Here..." He grabbed my hips and with no effort he picked me up and set me on the counter. "You won't be able to reach me short stuff."

"I know that and I also know I'm not one of the lightest girls in the world." I frowned lifting my arms up and flexing my tiny biceps. "Look I have muscles so don't treat me like I'm weightless." I ordered making him chuckle.

Without any words he leaned forward and placed a small kiss on the tip of my nose allowing all the foam around his lips to get on my face. In a playful disgusted way, I scrunched my nose up after he pulled back making him laugh at my expression.

"Razor." I ordered sitting up straight.

"Don't kill me." He murmured before facing right allowing enough space for me to start grazing the blade across his skin. I rested my free palm on his chest while the other one slowly started dragging the blade upwards like he told me to do before. After a couple of strokes I turned to my side to wash the foam off the razor that gathered up along the way.

"Have you ever done this before?" He questioned.

"On me or a guy?" I asked keeping my focus on his jaw line.

"A guy..." He answered with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Nope." I answered truthfully.

"...And you...?" He trailed off with a faint smirk on his face.

"I use to before but now I wax." I answered with a serious voice as it was a no big deal to me because most of us girls usually went to the salon to get our eyebrows and down below done. However my response seemed to pain him somehow and he quickly flinched back allowing his skin to get caught under the blade.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" I screamed in fear of the small cut that the razor created on his jawline.

"DOESN'T IT HURT?" He answered my question with a question of his own.

"YOU'RE BLEEDING." My mind totally ignored his question.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF?" He asked again horrified.

"What are you talking about?" I asked setting the razor.

"I mean you..." He gestured towards my lower abdomen. "Why?" He asked cringing at the thought of that making me laugh once again. "It's not funny, if it was done to me, I'd die." He added sadly.

"Yeah we get used to it, better outcome and lasts longer." I recited with a wink at the end making him loosen up a tiny bit.

"Is that why we're getting waxed?" He asked settling himself between my legs again and facing the other way so I could carry on with the other side.

"Yours is for charity." I told him while turning his head back to the side where his cut was.

"Don't worry, do the other side now, then after shave will do the job." He told me before turning his head back to the other side. "Oh, you're not kissing anyone." He repeated himself again which I didn't respond to because I've realised it was pointless arguing with him about this topic.

After a couple of stokes he faced forward so I could do his upper lip, he immediately rolled his lips back into his mouth giving me full access to finish my job.

Soon his lips started to twitch into a smile making me scared that he'd move again and I'll hurt him. Without thinking I moved the razor away, looking at him with questioning eyes.

"You just copied me." He pointed out with a huge grin on his face. "When I did this..." He rolled his lips back in. "You did that too." He smiled once again making me blush slightly that I subconsciously did that.

"Shut up." I tried to hide my smile.

"You're too cute Kira and ohh, if you stay with me, you don't have to wax ever again. I don't care" He stated looking at me sheepishly. I couldn't help but burst out laughing making him more embarrassed than he looked.

"Oh, Caleb... That's the most romantic thing anyone's ever said to me." I choked out sarcastically making him smile like a little boy again.

"You know what's weird?" He questioned

"What?"

"That this doesn't feel weird or awkward. I can talk to you about anything and still find it ... normal." He rested his hands on my hips, never taking that smile off his face.

"Isn't that a good thing in a relationship... to have that friendship as well?" I suggested without realising if he even thought about us in that way.

"Definitely." He replied almost instantly dismissing any doubts I had about him. "That's why you're not doing the kissing booth." He demanded once again earning him an eye roll.

The following week was the last week of school and the dance team had created and displayed posters all around the school about the kissing booth and waxing Jocks.

All the girls were giddy about the event while boys found it an opportunity to get some 'sugar' as they called it.

Caleb was still against me doing the kissing booth but I told him that other girls would be fiddling with him too so he was in no place to judge.

Of course some of the girls were beyond jealous that their boyfriends were going to get touched up by other girls but we knew it was only for charity and we were also in no right to place orders because of the kissing booth.

"They are in PAIN." Saira laughed from beside before sobering up to lean forward and kiss a limpy guy with brown square glasses while his wild light brown curly hair fell over half of his face covering the red spots that peeked through the gaps. Saira slightly cringed and moved back wiping her firmly closed lips on a wipe.

"These 15 minutes needs to be over soon." She groaned looking at the clock letting her know there were 14 minutes left for us to suffer from this torture.

"At least its 14, they've been going on for non-stop. I don't think some of them even have any hair left." I closed my eyes moving forward to kiss whoever it was. I pursed my lips together letting them know 'no tongue allowed' but to my dismay the guy grazed his tongue across my lips making me cringe and I quickly pulled back to face a similar looking guy that Saira just kissed.

Cringing inwardly I shouted 'Next'.

After an agonising 15 minutes we finally made it across the gym where most the girl population in our school stood watching their dream guys getting their legs waxed.

That's not romantic... As we emerged from the crowd, the red tint on boys pale faces made us burst out into laughter whereas all the other girls were sympathising them.

My eyes immediately landed on my brother who was biting on to a white towel which was muffling the painful screams due to a tiny brunette girl pulling off the wax strip that was previously on his leg. My eyes roamed around for the raven haired boy among the jocks who were in severe pain.

"It's funny how they get tackled and beaten nearly every day but can't stand this." Saira walked towards Brody who had bald patches on his legs which encouraged my roars of laughter.

"I hate you girls..." His pouted towards us while getting up from the chair after his 15 minutes session.

"Shut up, we go through worst, try walking in heels." Saira retorted kissing him on his pouted lips.

"Where's your brother?" I asked him in all seriousness.

"Crying somewhere..." He scoffed.

Without hesitation I walked past the half crying jocks towards the boy's locker room and before I could open the door, Caleb emerged from there with a fathom look on his face which was soon followed by a pout.

"KIRA..." He stretched out the 'a' at the end. "LOOK." He lifted his red jogger bottoms to show me the rectangle blad patches on his legs.

"Aww, my baby." I laughed before walking towards him to grab his face in my hands and put a loud kiss on his pouted lips.

"I feel naked now." He frowned grabbing my hips and bringing my body towards him.

"Aw, don't worry, it will grow back." I replied. "Plus, no one's going to see it." I rested my hands on his chest while he lowered his head meeting me half way while I was on my tip toes.

In a short period of time I had honestly given my heart to this boy, I thought I knew what love was but I guess after meeting Caleb I realised the meaning of the phrase 'Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else.' Because that's what he makes me feel like. There hasn't been a single day –since meeting him- I felt that heavy anchor in my heart weighing me down.

However, we all know that whenever we're happy life has a tendency to f*ck things up.
