The woman named Menchi announced to the participants, "The base of your meal shall be..." Her turquoise fringes fell across her eyes as shadow loomed over her dangerous gaze as she continued, "Those around you."

The participants sucked in a deep breath and stood stunned on the ground. They looked at each other worriedly, at the strangers and new found friends around them. Everyone here is an enemy, their prey and their predator. Even friends whom they trust the most can betray them in a heartbeat for their selfish needs and fear for their precious lives. In the ravenette's opinion however, she thought things were finally getting interesting. A hungry smirk played across her trembling lips.. Lips trembling out of excitement and eagerness. She grabbed her arm and squeezed it, letting her finger nails sink inside and drawing her blood out and staining her black jacket.

"Every single one of you must kill one person and one person only." She sternly said. "The meat of a human is extremely difficult to cook into a tasty meal, so you are all welcome to use any ingredients you wish and the utensils are well-prepared in this hall." She said while pointing to the building behind her. "Now then.."

"Begin!"

Everybody immediately ran away in beautiful shrieks and manically laughters of pleasure to kill. The dark haired maiden let the darkness of the shadows swallow her as she quietly watched the scene unfold before her.

"Now.. Who should I cook..?" She whispered, licking her trembling lips. I'm so excited. Her eyes gleamed a beautiful red like the eye of a Kurta's. A dark chuckle escaped her lips while she hunted for her prey whom she pities very much.

"Nice job dragging all of us on a tree, Gon! I almost died in that crowd!" Leorio gasped for breath nervously.

"This is insane, asking all of us to kill one another for the sake of cooking a dish!" Kurapika complained next. "There must be a reason behind all this. They can't possibly do this!"

"Neither can I! I can't kill anybody, but if I don't pass this test, I may not become a hunter, I may not see my father!"

"Shh! Somebody might catch us if we continue to be this loud. If all of you can't kill, then I'll do it!" Killua suggested and stood up from his spot.

"No! I'm sure they are up to something." Kurapika stopped Killua from leaping down the tree. "Look, even Hisoka isn't doing anything and we all know how hungry he is for blood."

Killua relaxed and sat on the branch again. "You have a point, but why? Do they want to eliminate us all?"

"I don't know, Killua. I don't know."

"Look!! He's looking here!" Whispered Leorio as he pointed a finger at Hisoka.

He stared at them and smiled seductively, licking his lips with the sharp tongue of his. In a blink of an eye, he disappeared from their sight.

"Huh? Where did he go to?!" Leorio panicked and looked around for any signs of the bright coloured hair man.

"That was cool! He just disappeared like that!" Gon exclaimed.

"You're an idiot, Gon.." Sighed Killua while face palming at his new found friend.

"Kukuku~♢ Such a shame, if they didn't have that trick up their sleeve, I would have swiped the field clean~♡"

"Such a shame.. Such a shame... Kukuku~♧"

The lone man chuckled a cry as he controlled himself from going berserk to tame his bloodlust.

He watched from the shadows, leaning on the tree for support and hugging himself to restrain his bloodlust.

"Blood.. Blood everywhere~♢ I'm hungry~!!♡"

He looked to the side and found the girl whom caught his interest since the beginning of this event.

Raven.

He moaned as he thought of her flawless scared body which seem to seem to have a history with her very own blood.

"Oh~♤"

His pants tightened as he imagined more of her, his body shook in overwhelming painful excitement.

"Oh my~~♧"

She was still hunting for her prey, or waiting for her false predator who thinks she can be preyed on. True to her expectations, her prey has fall into it's own trap.

"I found you~" He whispered to her ear.

A smirk formed on her lips.

"I've been waiting." She chuckled as her eyes glowed so bright, her bloodlust exploded.
