+Raven Ghoul 4+

"Kukuku.. Maybe next time, Raven-chan~♡" Hisoka grinned a sly smile.

"I wonder.. Does my hair truly reminds all of you of a raven?" She spoke and glide her pale, slender fingers through her thick, silky black hair. She pulled it in front of her sight and let it fall back into place. "It isn't fun to have everyone call me by the same name."

She eyed Hisoka with a dangerous gaze. In all honesty, Hisoka gulped in nervousness, but kept his calm posture with a creepy smile. To make someone like him feel the slightest bit intimidated..

...It turned him on so much.

"If you weren't who you were, you would have your body crushed into beautiful pieces of flesh scattered all around the field already." Her pale lips curved into a mischievous smile and her slender fingers trailed her lips as her bloody red eyes glinted in an inhuman daydream.

Thankful for the distance between them, she could not see the cold sweat dripping down his pale forehead.

With a last smirk and an evil glint in her bright red eyes, she spun on her heels and headed back into the forest to continue the exam.

The entire route was uneventful, she eventually got bored watching the same scenes happening over an over again which is basically, participants running into obvious traps.

Pathetic. The one called Raven shook her head and sighed in utter disappointment.

She increased her pace and caught up with Satotsu again within seconds, passing by the group of four in the process and earning gasps from them. Even Satotsu could not hold in his surprise. She shot him a look without her eyes gleaming, signalling that she is beyond disappointed of the exam which everybody claim is extremely difficult.

Just with one look, Satotsu felt a jolt of quiver in his heart. A dull pull of fear pulled his heartstrings, causing him to stop his movements for a split second. He continued his jog and maintained his pace. In all honesty, he was nervous running next to the mysterious and intimidating little adolescent.

Finally spotting a building up ahead where the next phase will conduct, he felt extremely relieved to have leave the girl. He heaved a silent sigh and quickened his speed just a little bit in a tint of excitement to leave her side. Remembering how she left him to the finish line in the first half of his phase, he then started the conversation and hopefully, his last conversation with her.

"If you would like, you may run ahead to the finish line over there." He pointed to a white building.

Without a single word uttered, she accelerated and soon, her figure disappeared from his sight. However, he did not miss her facial expression of boredom and pure disappointment.

She reached the entrance and stopped her quick pace, letting her boots sink ever so slightly into the dirt beneath her. If anybody had worn her knee-high boots, they would have noticed her thick heels weight a ton. It was amazing how she could run with it. Others would have a problem to even try raising their leg. If she were to take it out..

Who knows just how fast she could run.

The young ravenette sat under a tree, protected from the sunlight by the cooling shade. She was daring to close her eyes for a short rest in a place like this.

While she is resting, the group of four had a little trouble to keep up with Satotsu in the mist, especially the blonde and the oldest young man in the group. Nevertheless, they manage to reach the finish line a few moments after Satotsu did. Just as they cross the line, Kurapika caught the sight of the mysterious little girl which seem to be cloaked with a certain type of aura which screamed danger..

..and blood.

Despite her odd behavior and disturbing aura, The wind gently ruffled her thick hair which resembles the dark feathers of a raven.  Her long eye lashes contrasted with her creamy fair skin as it rested like soft feathers on her under eye. In the last surviving Kurta's eyes, she looked serene and fragile. She looked exactly like an angel, but also half of a devil. She was the image of black and white, false and true, good and bad, evil and kind. Her pale white skin and the structure of her heart shaped face resembled that of an angel's; but her hair seemed almost darker than black and her eyes were the colour of blood, like the daughter of a devil.

Just who..is she..? He wondered silently.

"For a weird girl like her, she sure look like an innocent little angel eh?" Leorio chuckled lightly, but it seemed as though there was something inappropriate hidden behind his voice.

The young blonde elbowed his abdomen, then he crouched in pain, holding his injured stomach.

"You little-"

"IT IS TIME FOR THE SECOND PHASE TO BEGIN!" A feminine voice rang in the area of the open space.

At this, a pair of dull red orbs were revealed from the awakening of a young girl's slumber as it scanned the remaining participants who qualified themselves to the second phase.

"My name is Menchi and I will be your examiner for this round, behind me is Buhara." A woman with four pig tails spoke as she pointed to a rather plump man seated behind her. "Both of us are gourmet hunters, so the second phase will be about food!"

A few groans were heard followed by exasperated sighs. However, a certain ravenette adolescent has a smirk tugged on her lips.

I see... Maybe this round is where we hunt for food and the only food I see here.....

..is humans...

A soft chuckled escaped from the girl as shivers ran up a blonde's spine, seeing he is the closest to her.

A little from a distance, a man watched her with pure excitement. The gleam of joy and anticipation glinted across his narrow eyes as his slippery tongue traced his pale and wide lips sensually. Next to him stood a tall man in a green attire with roundhead pins as decorations. He as well, pay a little interest in the mysterious girl behind his odd disguise.

It may sound ridiculous, but it is indeed difficult for me to find time and just sit here to focus on updating stories. Forgive me, it takes a lot of my time to update something and actually make it good.

I'm sorry for the lame chapter though, I'll try my best to make it better in the next chapter! ;)
