"Hello!"

Raven gave a slight jump. A fluffy brown tabby cat was staring at her.

"Oh. Hello." Raven replied, unsure.

"My name is Moth. You?" The cat asked cheerfully, her green eyes bright.

"Mm... I'm Raven." Raven answered hesitantly.

Moth tipped her head in confusion, staring at Raven's white fur.

"I was named after an albino raven." Raven sighed.

"Oh!" Moth replied.

"Now, it was nice meeting you and all, but I need to hunt." Raven muttered.

Raven padded away, sniffing the air. The wind blew, ruffling her short white fur. She closed her eyes, letting the wind blow on her face, scanning it...

"There's one!" Moth announced.

Raven gave a short scream, startled.

"Oh... It's just you." Raven sighed, and turned to where Moth was pointing. "Thanks... But I hope you're not expecting a reward or something."

"No reward. I don't do things for rewards." Moth replied. "I just like cats to feel okay." She smiled.

Raven headed to her den. Moth followed. Moth is nice... Raven thought. But I don't think she's from around here. And she probably doesn't know about Clans. My den is right next to WindClan... I don't want her getting hurt...

"I'll keep watch outside. If you really want to stay here, that is." Raven muttered.

"You're okay with me staying?" Moth asked, her eyes bright and joyful.

Moth stared at her. She couldn't resist that look.

"Sure."
