ross pov

have you ever felt like you didnt belong anywhere? like your whole life was a lie and you were born into the wrong world, family, place. Or most importantly  incomplete.

thats how i feel everyday. i cant explain it but its like im missing something in my life... i feel like if i find that one thing, my life will truly be complete.

but is that even possible...

rydel: ROSS! ROSS SHOR LYNCH?! (she yelled, spitting on my face)

ross: hm?~ sorry, what?

i must have tuned out because everyone was staring at me strangely around the dinner table

rocky: dude, you were talking about how your friend bailed on you today and then you tuned out. You gonna finish your story or what?

okay what is Rocky talking about?

Ross: Uh... what are you talking about?

Stormie: Ross? Are you feeling alright sweetie? (she said with concern)

Ross: Yeah... are you guys feeling alright?

Ryland: What? (he questioned full on confused on how this conversation took a turn)

Ross: Um... I..i'm gonna be in my room if you need me

I quickly stand up from my seat running towards my room.

i've been blanking out a lot lately and my families starting to notice... what do I do?

*knock knock

I turn towards my door

Ross: WHO IS IT? (I asked yelling)

Riker: your adoring older brother

Ross: which one (I said smartly)

I could feel Riker roll his eyes

Riker: just open the door, you know who I am!

I chuckle opening the door

Ross: What do you need?

Riker: Mom was worried cuz' of what happened at dinner so she wanted me to tell you to go for a walk

Ross: And what if I Don~

Riker: And if you don't she'll ground you.

I grummled

Ross: Fine.

Moms groundings are harsh cuz' she takes away music and music is everything to me

I push Riker out of my room closing my door behind me.

Ross: IM GOING OUT!

Stormie: Clear your head Ross!

I roll my eyes walking through the front door, closing it behind me.

I dont know where I'm going but ive decided to just go wherever my feet take me.

I find myself at the park. Hm.. I havnt been here in a long time.

I walk towards the swings when I see a girl sitting there singing a song I didnt recognize but her voice was amazing. I have to admit, i was mezmerized.

she must have heard my footsteps because she quickly stopped, staring at me like a deer infront of headlights.

ross: Uh... I...I'm sorry... I didnt mean to startle you.

???: ... i..its fine...

ross: you have an amazing voice... you know... i.. if it helps...

she laughed. her laugh made me smile. she had beautiful brown hair with ombre blonde tips at the end and she had the best large chocolate brown eyes. For some reason her presence made me feel happy inside.

???: Im laura.

Ross: Ross. (I said grinning)

Laura: Ross... nice name. i like it

Ross: Back at ya (I said in a flirty way)

She laughed

laura: well Ross, (She said emphasizing my name) wanna swing with me?

Ross: Hmm... ive never been asked that before but hey, theres always a time for new things

Laura: I... dont think thats how the saying goes exactly.... but ill take it!

I sat down on the swing on her right.

Ross: So... would I be moving too fast If I ask you to tell me about yourself?

she gave me a look and I knew I went over the line

Ross: I MEAN! uh... i..if you dont w...want to... i..its fine with me... or like ill tell you about myself, it really doesnt mind with me and like I ~

she stopped me putting her hand over my mouth

Laura: I dont mind Ross

i sighed gladly

Laura: As long as your not some kinda Rapist or anything... (she said teasingly)

I blushed a deep shade of red while she giggled

Ross: I..im not!

Laura: Okay, so lets see... im.... 17 right now, im italian... and i have a mom, dad, and a sister vanessa marano.

i nodded my head

Ross: Wait! did you just say Vanessa Marano??!!!

Laura nodded

Ross: Vanessa Marano?!!! like THE VANESSA MARANO??!! Switched at Birth?!!!!

Laura: Sounds like your a fan... (She said smirking)

Ross: Well I... I mean, I see her show like... pfft from time to time... m..my uh.. brother Riker, he...he, is a big fan

Laura nodded her head amused

Laura: Is he now...

i nodded my head quickly staring at her like a lost puppy

Laura: Well... shes in town now, so maybe your brother could meet her sometime

wait... did she just say there was going to be a next time?... YES! that means ill see her again

Ross: Uh... yeah sure.. (i said trying to play it cool)

Laura: so... tell me about yourself

Ross: Okay, i have 5 siblings including me, and yeah a mom and dad. 4 boys 1 girl. Im the second youngest.

Laura: wow.. id like to meet them sometime

Ross: yeah sure. ill bring them when Vanessa shows up (i said teasing)

she laughed

Laura: well i should go... but here gimme your number. maybe well see each other again

ross: YEAH! i..i mean... y..yeah sure, thats cool.

she laughed giving me her phone

ross: flip phone? (I said in a really? -_- tone. But teasingly of course)

laura: Hey! Flip phones r awesome!

ross: whatever (I said chuckling)

i put my digits into her phone and she put hers into mine. it took her a bit longer cuz she didnt know how to work my iphone which, i found adorable.

we hugged said our goodbyes and she left.

Ross: i am coming to the park more often... (I mummbled to myself)

I ran home quickly with the goofiest smile on my face

Stormie: Ross?! is that you?

she walked out from the kitchen followed by my dad and siblings coming from the living room.

riker: what is up with your face?

Rocky: dude? hello?

Rydel: When did you go out?

Ryland: this is lame, im out.

Mark: Maybe ross shouldnt have gone out

Stormie: Ross... sweetie?...

Ross: I found my other half...

They looked at me then towards each other confused. i didnt bother explaining, I found my other half and now my life is complete.
