Priest: Do you, Ally Dawson, take this man, to be your lawfully wedded husband?

The ceremony had begun.

Ally: I do.

I tried averting my eyes away from her gaze but I just couldn't. Her chocolate, brown eyes captured me like a prisoner in my own body.

The more I looked, the more I couldn't get away. And the more I couldn't get away, the more guilty I felt.

Ally: Psst.. Austin.. Austin?

I shook my head out of the little daze I was in

Austin: Huh?

I almost forgot where I was as Ally rolled her eyes and nudged her head slightly towards the priest with boredom in his eyes. Poor guy. Must have done this at least 10 times today.

Can you imagine having to stand in the same place, wear the same clothes, recite the same lines from the same book, and hear the same answers everyday for a living?

I would go bald from frustration.

Priest: *cough cough* I said, do you, Austin Moon, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?

Turning my attention back to Ally I didn't say anything. Instead a smile formed on my lips as all recent doubts disappeared.

You know what. The past is the past.

This is my life and I'm going to do what I want.

This may not have been the original plan but it was the one that made me realize I love Ally.

This isn't just some stupid trick my parents made me play anymore.

See about a year ago my parents found out business was really bad, like we were practically broke. So, they came up with a solution. Trick Ally into marrying me, considering her family was really rich, marry her, get half her money, then divorce her.

It's sick, I know.

I didn't have a choice though!

But anyway, that's the past. This is real life and I don't wanna use Ally.

She's the one I love.

Austin: I do.

And It's better if she doesn't know.

Omg I am so sorry! This was such a bad chapter, it probably made you guys even more confused than ever! Omg I'm so bad at this.. 😠😖😖 Grrr... i'm not kidding I rushed this whole thing so it might seem like it's going by really quick.
