I get dressed in a pink and black Abby Lee Miller crop top with matching dance shorts and matching Nike sneakers. I put on light makeup and by light makeup I mean mascara and mango flavored lip gloss. As soon as I'm ready I walk downstairs and see my mom and little sister Chloe eating breakfast. I grabbed myself some pancakes and orange juice and went inside the car to go while mom and Chloe packed everything.

We soon got inside the car and started driving to the studio. When we parked I saw a familiar looking jeep with blonde heads poking out and waving to me. I waved back at my best friend Rydel and her older brother Ross. I walked towards their car greeting them and their mom Stormie.

Laura: Good morning

Stormie: Hey laur. How r u 2day?

Laura: I'm great

Rydel and Ross finally got out the car and started running towards me.

Delly: LAURY!

Laura: DELLY!

We gave each other huge hugs while Ross and our moms just stared at us lovingly.

Ellen (Laura's mom) : OK girls let's get inside before we're all late.

We broke apart from our hug and I looked at Ross and smiled. He blushed and smiled back.

(did I mention that they're sixteen?)

We got inside the studio and started stretching.

I look up at the moms room through the clear glass and see Ross staring at me. I blush a little and turn away feeling eyes burning at the back of my head.

Rydel: Hey Laura. Wanna come over for a sleepover so we could practice our duet?

Laura: I'd love to

Abby lee: Alright girls! Enough stretching let's do pyramid.

We all get in a line to see who's on top this week.

(so I'm gonna skip to when Laura goes to Rydel's house for the sleep over BTW Laura was on top)

I get out of my mom's car and ring the door bell of dellys house.

Ross open the door and smiles at me. I send him a smile back.

Ross: hey laur let me guess Rydel invited u for a sleepover tonight

Laura : yep so where is she?

Ross: her and my mom went out to get some snacks they'll be back in like an hour.

I look back to see if my moms still there but all I see is dust.

Laura : so I'll be stuck with u for an hour. My day could not get any worse

I said with a little smirk. He put his hands over his chest in fake sadness .

Ross: I'm so offended. I guess I can't share the secret of who I like with u.

My eyes widen in curiosity. He goes to close the door.

" Wait! " I say with my foot stopping it.

Ross :uh huh?

Laura : can u at least invite me inside?

Ross : sure come on in

I step inside with my bag slung over my shoulder and drop it on the floor.

Laura: so who's this secret crush of yours

Ross: I'll give u a hint

I nod my head signalling him to continue .

Ross: Her name starts with an L.

I think about all the girls I know that he knows that starts with an L.

Laura: Is it...... Lily from studio b. Orrrrrrr Layla from science class. Wait wait Lydia from the supermarket? Maybe Lin-

I get cut off by a pair of lips on mine.
He separates from me.

Ross: Maybe it's Laura, my sister's best friend, the girl who was on top of the pyramid today, the most beautiful girl I've ever seen, the girl who-

Now it's my turn to cut him off as I smash my lips to his in a sweet but short kiss.

Laura: I like u too Ross.
