For vital context, this is the cake my classmates and I made for my teacher, who left last year. It reads "We Treyed" (purposefully spelled wrong) and "GL!" GL stands for good luck. I wrote the L in GL and put the frosting on the sides. We originally tried very hard to make a good cake, but I messed up the frosting horribly and it was such an epic fail that we gave up in the end and just did this. It tasted good though, and our teacher liked it. The lesson I learned was that I should never be the one to decorate a cake.
