Name: Applepelt

This name is kind of bland.  Apple- is very underused, and I like it, but -pelt, is well, -pelt. Maybe change it to Applestream, Applefrost, or Applecloud?

Appearance: Tousled, curly dark ginger fur with lighter russet highlights. She has a big white patch on her chest and one white back paw. Her tail is very long and fluffy and dipped in white, and she is basically a giant puffball, so the kits love climbing on her. She has fierce, determined green eyes. She has a chunk missing from her ear and a large scar on her left shoulder. 

This is very descriptive! Also, extra points for the curly fur. I just LOOVE how she is basically a 'giant puffball'! It's so cute! Extra points for the scars and chunk out of ear. Not many people mention that.

Backstory: Applepelt was raised with a strict mother and an absent father. She had no siblings and was forbidden from having friends. She was taught to always respect those older than her and treat those younger than her well too. Fortunately for her future, her mother was killed in a battle, and Applepelt had a foster mother. Soon she became and apprentice and was taught by the clan deputy, but she never let it go to her head because she personally didn't even like the deputy. Not long after her first Gathering, she began developing feelings for another apprentice, Woodpaw. When they received their warrior names they became mates, and Applepelt had kits. While she was still in the nursery, Woodtail was brutally murdered by rogues. She grieved, but she raised her kits well and when she left the nursery returned to warrior duties. Yet another cat asked to be her mate, an old friend named Waspflame. They had two litters together, and after both litters were apprenticed ( the first made warriors ), they retired to the elder's den together

Aww. It's cute how her backstory mainly focused on her family. Also, extra points for her being apprenticed to the deputy and not liking him. Usally, the deputy is liked by everyone.

Personality: She's sharp-tongued and wise, and often cracks jokes when the kits are around. She had a rather fiery temper, but it diminished with age- though she is still quick to flare up. She's sweet and gentle wit the younger ones and treats them kindly, but she's much harsher and more blunt with older cats. She has a wavering faith in StarClan, and that makes other cats slightly wary.

Cats don't know what cougers/ mountain cats are. They call them Sharp Tooth (s). Maybe Forestheart, because he looks like his father? (Woods = Forest). Sadly, this will cost points.
