Gender: She-cat. Okay.

Appearance: Sparkledawn is a shimmery silver tabby she-cat. Her stripes are semi-swirly and not much darker than her light silver background. They're still visible, mind you. Her eyes are pale blue and shiny. She has soft white on her chest, belly, mouth, paws, ear-tips, and tail-tip. She has some scratches in her ear and a scar on her shoulder, but her fur mostly covers it as she's a long-haired cat. Alright! Very detailed. She sounds like a very pretty cat.

Personality: Sparkledawn is wise and caring. She's a great teacher and cares deeply for her apprentice, Runningpaw. If she had to sacrifice her life for another cat she'd do it, whether she likes the cat or not. She has a good sense of humor and has been known to be cheerful in the hardest, darkest situations. She's well-respected among the clans and everyone knows her. Cool! Although, she could really use some negative traits, to balance out the good ones.

Backstory: Sparkledawn was born as Sparklekit to Cinderleap and Ashstep, both now elders. She was a highly adventurous kit and crept out of camp many times to explore. However, most of her adventurousness disappeared when she'd been attacked by a rogue, earning her some scars on her ear and shoulder. Luckily, the rest of Skyclan heard her yowling and chased the rogue off before much damage was done. After this, she took an interest in medicine and spent much time with her future mentor, Rainwater. When she came of age, Rainwater asked her if she'd be his apprentice, and she happily accepted. Sparklepaw learned quickly and made friends with the other medicine apprentices, Honeypaw, Blackpaw, Dewpaw, and Fernpaw. They became Honeyblossum, Blackthorn, Dewdust, and Ferncreek. Sparklepaw was especially good at interpreting signs as, despite her strong belief, Starclan never visited her in dreams. She was ecstatic when Rainwater gave her her medicine name, Sparkledawn. She proved to be a good medicine cat despite her Starclan issue. When Rainwater died of illness, she felt responsible and never got over it completely, often getting too desperate to prove herself later on in life. She eventually had kits with the Riverclan warrior Whispertail and reluctantly gave them to her best friend, Swiftclaw when she also had kits and Swiftclaw happily took them in. Sparkledawn's kits were named Sweetkit and Shimmerkit, to be Sweetsong and Shimmerfoot. Swiftclaw's was Whitepaw, the only survivor of her litter and to be known as Whitefoot. The clan has yet to find out. I didn't decide if they ever will, though. She eventually names Runningpaw Runningheart.

Pretty good! The trope of a Medicine cat having a mate + kits, especially cross-Clan mates and kits, is really overdone in the fandom, but if it's handled and written well, it can turn out fine! This is detailed enough, and there's not much I can see lacking.

Mate: Whispertail. Any appearance for him? I like his name, though!

 Kits: Sweetpaw and Shimmerpaw. Adorable names. But do they have appearances?  

Other family: Cinderleap, mother. Ashstep, father. Swiftbird, brother. Again, appearances! The names are nice. But how is her relationship with her brother? I never saw him mentioned in the Backstory.

Rank at death: Medicine cat.  Alright. 

Age: Currently; 25 moons (one month over two years). At death; 110 moons. (two months over nine years) Okay!

Good Traits: Kind, caring, gentle, loyal. Pretty balanced.

Bad Traits: Too quiet, too desperate to prove herself, shy. Balanced here too!

Likes: Nice cats, family, her clan, medicine cat stuff, running, playing, climbing. Pretty normal things to like.

Dislikes: Violence, death, evil cats, snakes, spiders, lies, being lazy. Fair enough!

Cause Of Death: Supposed future death; will be taken by twolegs and be missing for many moons before returning. Declared dead while missing. Real Future Death: Will slip on ice, fall into the moonpool, and sadly drown. Oof, a Medicine cat dying in the moonpool- ironic. But I would like to see her being taken by Twolegs in her Backstory.

Overall, I like Sparkledawn a lot! There are a few areas where she could improve, but overall, she is a balanced and interesting OC. Thank you for submitting, and she gets a 7.8/10
