It had been a couple of weeks since the other Autobots had gone to restore Cybertron. Ratchet had just gotten a call that someone was badly injured so he decided to go help. You were hanging out at unit E when he had gotten the call. Ratchet activated his holoform and went to the human area where you were waiting.

"Y/n....I suppose you heard the call." Ratchet said.

"Yeah, I did." You said.

"I have to go....and I might be gone for a while....especially since I'm currently the only medic." Ratchet told you.

"I know, just promise me that you'll come back soon." You said sadly.

"I promise Y/n, I'll come back, it might not be right away but I'll come back." Ratchet said.

You then pulled Ratchet in for a passionate goodbye kiss. Ratchet pulled away after a few minutes and his holoform fizzled away.

"Be careful Ratchet." You told as you tried not to cry.

"I will Y/n, I will." Ratchet said before he walked through the spacebridge.
