"Delta it's so wonderfully awesome to see you!" Theta said running up and hugging the purple lombax. Delta laughed and wrapped his arms around Theta. "It's nice to see you too Theta." He said nuzzling into the top of Theta's head. Theta smirked, "Speaking of which." Theta slammed his foot into Delta's shin. "Ow! What was-- ah!" Delta exclaimed as Theta then grabbed his ear and pulled it towards him. "Where the hell have you been you fucking bitch?! Kappa and I have been worried out of our damn minds about you! You disappear for days, weeks, that shit turned into an entire year of you being nowhere to be found! And you just come back and say hey like nothing fucking happened?! The audacity of your stupidity is mind boggling!" Theta shouted abruptly, letting go of Delta's ear and glaring at his friend as he growled. The cyan lombax was displaying an unusual knowledge of vocabulary for someone such as him.

"Okay, first of all, OW! And second of all, I don't need your permission to live my life okay?! Besides, we have more important shit to worry about than me being gone for a few years, Theta!" Delta said rubbing his shin and standing normally as best as he could. "And that would be what exactly, Little miss rebel?!" Theta asked, narrowing his eyes. Clank looked up at Elaris. "Should we do something?" The robot asked. Elaris shook her head. "We don't know the situation well enough to interfere. Let's just watch the whole thing play out." She said scratching the back of her neck. Delta rolled his eyes and put his paws on his hips. "Dr. Nefarious that's what. I found him in the forest." The purple lombax said. Theta's eyes widened and he snapped his digits.

Everyone in the training area was immediately enveloped in a bright light and they were transported to the conference room they were in earlier. "Augh! What is it this time?! If you think I'm staying in here for another few hours then you got something else coming to ya!" Brax shouted cracking his knuckles. "No, that's not it! Delta found Nefarious!" Theta said, urgency filling his voice. Omega walked up. "Hello Delta, I'm Omega." He said holding out his paw. Delta smiled and shook Omega's paw. "Nice to finally meet you Omega, but right now we have bigger problems. I found your Nefarious deep in our planet's forest. He has a massive army and conveniently he's building a super weapon that he wants to use on the city. It's construction is almost complete so we should hurry." Delta explained looking at everyone. "We can continue to plan in the airship. Theta, can you get us there?" Elaris asked. "Hmph, do you know who you're talking to? Of course I can!" Theta said with a wide grin. The cyan lombax snapped his digits again and suddenly everyone was on the Galactic Ranger's airship.

Elaris and Clank immediately got to the control. "Okay, does everyone know what to do?" Elaris asked. "We're gonna jump out of the airship and show his army who's boss!" Brax yelled. "Yeah!" Dickey cheered. "We'll provide support, taking out high priority targets while avoiding being spotted." Clawsha said sharpening claws on each other. "We'll try to make an opening for Ratchet and (Y/n)." Cora said charging up her modified combuster. "I'll keep everyone moving, we don't want to take damage now do we?" Theta asked adjusting his gadget gloves. "I will dispatch Dr. Nefarious' defenses. We will be unable to infiltrate his ship if we can't get past them." Kappa said as several golden and red floating chains with spear heads suddenly extended from his back.

"We'll look fornan opening and sneak aboard Nefarious' ship. If we can't find one then we'll fall back on Cora and Clawsha for assistance." (Y/n) said grabbing his Omnilance. Ratchet powered up his Omniwrench and it turned into a battle axe. "Elaris and I will be in the airship, providing air support when needed. No doubt Nefarious will be prepared for an air asssault." Clank said. Elaris smiled. "I'll handle navigation, you'll need a guide for this forest." Delta said sitting in one of the pilot seats. "Great, let's go team!" Elaris said as the airship's engines powered up and it blasted out of the Hall of Heroes docking bay. In just a few minutes, the airship was out of the city, and flying over the forest that eneveloped half the planet. The passengers looked down saw a large field of blue, purple, and sunset red. "So this is what the forest is like. Why wouldn't the people want to live there?" (Y/n) asked himself. "The plant life doesn't add anything to the planet other than oxygen so there's no need to." Theta said with a smile. The burgundy lombax nodded and went back to admiring the forest.

"We're here everyone! Get ready to drop." Delta said. Everyone stopped their staring and grabbed their gear, standing at the aft airlock. "Three, two, one, drop!" The doors opened under the team and everyone began sky diving. They all saw a massive airship, the same one they saw when Nefarious tried to invade Aleero City. There was a massive ground force, warbots were cutting down the forest. Brax smirked and curled into a ball, the spiked shell covering him again. He accelerated towards the ground and smashed into a large group of warbots. He deployed his wire and it attached to another warbot pulling him towards the mob and barreling all of them down. Dickey extended his tail armor and it stabbed into the ground pulling him towards the army. He hit the ground and he began twirling around, slicing up every warbot within range into little slices of metal.

"Oh, and I forgot to say. Your flamethrowers can melt raritanium." Theta said into his communicator. "It can?" Clank asked. "I also made some defensive modifications for your's and Elaris' upgrades built into the ship. Purple button in the middle of the console, be sure to check it out!" Theta shouted as he teleported to the ground and he began kicking and punching holes through the warbots surrounding him, teleporting around and disorienting them. Kappa's boots lit up and he magnetized towards the enemy airship. The ships turrets pointed towards him and started shooting at him. Kappa brought his chains in front of him and they formed a shield, blocking each laser bolt that came toward him. Kappa magnetized and he landed on the side of the ship. He began running and started slicing up each turret that ran by.

Cora and Clawsha grabbed onto each other and Clawsha launched her small ball and chain towards the ground at the edge of the fight, getting them down safely with ease. They let go of each other and Clawsha began tearing through the edge of the battle, using her claws in tandem with her ball and chain. Cora ran and charged up her combuster, pointing it at the fight. She pulled the trigger and the resulting laser pierced through tons of warbots, turning them all to ash. Cora smirked and retrained her attention towards the enemy airship. The airlock was sealed tight and she didn't see a control panel. She held up her Combuster and a small scope materialized on the gun. She looked through it and pointed it at the airlock. Suddenly, the airlock began opening. Cora gasped and took a closer look. "There's the opening. Let's go!" (Y/n) said grabbing Ratchet and seating him on his lance. The lance powered up and began flying towards the airlock.

They reached the airlock in a matter of moments, entering the interior of the airship with ease. The airlock closed and locked behind them. The two landed on the ground and looked at the airlock. Two slams sounded and the two turned to see two warbots ten times their size leering down at them. "Well, it was nice of him to roll out the red carpet. Let's do this!" Ratchet said holding up his battle axe. The warbot's arms transformed into arm cannons and several missiles shot out towards them. (Y/n) stabbed his lance into the ground, creating a dome shield. The missiles blee up on impact, damaging the floor but leaving the two unscathed.

"You imbeciles! Don't use the missiles inside the airship! You'll tear the ship apart!" Nefarious' voice said over the intercom. The warbots seemingly grumbled and their arm cannons disappeared, and they equipped Combuster like blasters. (Y/n) equipped his gauntlets and boot heels from his lance and launched himself up towards the two. He kicked the first warbot's dace while slapping the other one. He fell to the ground and stomped on the first warbot's foot, shattering it. Ratchet leapt forward and sliced off the robot's other foot with his axe. The warbot fell to the ground and Ratchet buried his axe into the warbot's head, extinguishing it's lights, signalling it was turned off. The other warbot deployed rectangar boxes from his shoulders and solid lazer lines extended out. Ratchet and (Y/n) dodge rolled out of the way. (Y/n) grabbed Ratchet's paw and threw him up towards the warbot's face. Ratchet swung his axe and the two laser box's were destroyed. In the next second, (Y/n) came flying on his lance and skewered it through the warbot's face. The warbot fell to the ground and the two landed in front of their work. The two exchanged a glance and nodded. They ran across the robot bodies and into the rest of the ship.

Outside the airship, Elaris and Clank were attempting to provide air support. Delta pressed the purple button in the middle of the console. A visor attached to the roof lowered down and two gasoline hoses popped out of the console. "I'll handle the controls, get to shooting you two." Delta said taking the pilot seat and grabbing the controls. Elaris activated her visor and looked into the other visor in front of her. Clank turned his hands into his nozzles and attached them to the gasoline hoses. Clank's view changed to that of the battlefield. Clank narrowed his optics and began raining down fire on the battlefield. Elaris activated her visor and began dragging the laser through the warbots. Brax punched a warbot before jumping out of the laser's way. Dickey dodge rolled out of the way of the flames, nearly being burned to a crisp. "Hey! Watch where you're shooting that thing!" Brax shouted, decapitating a warbot before it snuck up on him. "Seriously, friendly fire exists you know!" Dickey added, slicing a few more warbots to pieces.

"Sorry!" Elaris called over the speaker. Brax sighed as Dickey rolled his eyes. Clank turned his attention to the warship. He saw Kappa running around, destroying each and every turret he could see. Theta suddenly teleported and magnetized onto the ship, joining Kappa and joining in his efforts. Clank looked up towards the warships cock pit and saw Dr. Nefarious. The robot looked very angry and seemed to be shouting something at the console. Presumably he was angry at the fact that they were easily dealing with his army. "Ratchet, this is Clank. Dr. Nefarious is in the warships cockpit. Be prepared to face any schemes he may have cooked up while we were busy." Clank said into the comms. "Got it Clank, we're on our way there." Ratchet said as he and (Y/n) were running down, hall after hall, destroying any warbots they encountered on the way. "Be warned you two. I haven't seen Dr. Nefarious' super weapon. It's supposed to be a giant blue and green raygun. It was supposed to be attached to the warship but I haven't seen it since we got here. He may have downsized it to be able to use it in battle." Delta warned.

(Y/n) narrowed his eyes. "Don't worry Delta, we can take care of him, super weapon or not." The burgundy lombax said, stabbing another warbot to the ground as he ran. The two ran through hall after hall, unable to find the way to the cockpit. The two stopped running and rested on the walls catching their breath. "Damnit! Where is that stupid cockpit?!" (Y/n) asked, gritting his teeth. A ding sounded behind them. The two looked to see an elevator with the words, "totally not the cockpit elevator, please keep out". The two growled, clenching their fists. (Y/n) walked towards the elevator and skewered his lance in between the sliding panels. He put his boot on the lance and pushed it forward, ripping off the sliding doors. The two panels fell down the elevator shaft. (Y/n) looked up and saw the actual elevator compartment at the top of the shaft. (Y/n) and Ratchet looked at each other and nodded. The grabbed esch other's paw and jumped into the elevator shaft. (Y/n)'s lance activated and they began flying up towards the cockpit. The lance stabbed through the elevator compartment and Ratchet jumped out into the cockpit chamber, shortly followed by (Y/n).

Ratchet activated his axe and (Y/n) pointed his lance towards the robot in front of them. "Grrr, what is it with you Ranger's and your obsession of constantly disturbing me?!" Dr. Nefarious screeched as he turned around and glared at them, hunched over as if he was ready to attack. "Nefarious, as head of the Galactic Ranger's, I am placing you under arrest." Ratchet declared, glaring right back at him. "You can either surrender, or we handle this the hard way. What'll it be?" (Y/n) asked, flexing his paws in his gauntlets. Dr. Nefarious began chuckling, than started cackling maniacally. The two lombax's exchanged a weird glance. "I prefer it the bright way!" The robot said in a sadistic tone before suddenly pointing a blue and green raygun at them and pulling the trigger. (Y/n) gasped and jumped in front of Ratchet, activating his shield. A large bright beam of blinding light began searing the surface of the shield dome. Ratchet and (Y/n) closed their eyes ad they struggled to keep their footing. The beam suddenly dissipated as a large burn mark sizzled where the beam hit. The two opened their eyes, looked up at the burn mark, and then back at Nefarious.

Dr. Nefarious laughed. "Like what you see?! It's my latest and greatest invention, the "Night Light". It's strength is rivaled by no other weapon in existence! Even the "Ryno" pales in comparison to this baby!" Nefarious gloated. "It's also obnoxiously bright. No wonder I can't anything other than your ego." (Y/n) spat behind the shield. "Wow poor you. Let's fix that shall we?" Nefarious asked rhetorically, bringing up the blaster and charging it up once more. (Y/n) grabbed Ratchet's collar and threw him across the room before dodge rolling out of the way, just in time to avoid the bright beam of light. The dome dropped and (Y/n) began running throughout the room, jumping, flipping, and ducking to avoid the beam. Ratchet stood up after having rolled on the floor a little ways away from Nefarious. He stood up to his feet and ran towards the robot. Nefarious turned his head towards and deactivated the laser. He jumped out of the way of Ratchet's swing as the axe was buried into the floor where he was just standing. The two began running around the room again, as Nefarious kept firing at them, cackling at the top of his lungs. This would continue for a few minutes as the battle was at a stalemate.

Dr. Nefarious scoffed and groaned angrily. "I've had enough of this song and dance, just die already!" He shouted as he turned a dial on the side of the gun. The gun made a high pitched whir as he pointed it at (Y/n). Unable to dodge in time, the burgundy lombax raised his shield dome as a huge laser beam, bigger and brighter than the last one started searing the shield. Ratchet ran toward Nefariohs again only for the beam to split in half from a mirror and start blasting towards him. Ratchet gasped and was able to raise his axe blade in time to slice the beam in half, searing the ealls behind him. However the beam was so strong it started physically pushing them backward against the wall, threatening to crush them both. Nefarious cackled again. "Is this all the Ranger's can offer me?! You're all so weak! Once I'm done here, I'll move on to the rest of the world, desintegrating anyone who gets in my way! Hahaha!" Nefarious gloated, a twisted smile on his robotic face.

"Kappa!" (Y/n) shouted into the comms. Kappa continued running as he sliced up another turret. "What is it (Y/n)?" He asked using his chains as a shield against incoming fire. "Forget the turrets, destroy the ship! Nefarious can't be allowed to take off!" The burgundy lombax shouted. Kappa's eyes widened. "But you and Ratchet--!" "Don't give me that shit! This weapon is more powerful than any of us! You have to destroy the ship and capture Nefarious! Now don't question me and tear this damn rust bucket apart!" (Y/n) yelled, not wanting some moralistic debate in the middle of being halfway to crushed. Kappa nodded as he sighed and began running towards the back if the ship. "Theta!" "You got it!" Theta appeared and grabbed Kappa, teleporting away. They reappeared behind the ship, a safe distance away from the boosters. Theta teleported away and Kappa summoned more chains. They all extended even longer than before and stabbed into the boosters, keeping the ship from flying away. Kappa turned and began dragging the ship backwards albeit slightly slow.

(Y/n) and Ratchet were now being forced even further into the wall, cracks forming from their cinstant pressing into it. (Y/n)'s shield cracked, then shattered. The burgundy lombax held up his lance to slice the beam in half, just barely being singed from the laser. Cracks began forming on their weapons

"Brax, Dickey!" "Whenever you're ready!" "Let's do this!" The two shouted as Theta grabbed them both and teleported them above the ship. Dickey used his tail armor to slice a huge crack in the ships armor, semi separsting the boosters from the rest of the ship. He grabbed onto Brax who extended his wire, attaching to the booster section. Brax and Dickey curled into a ball, the armored spiky shell surrounding them. "MAX POWER!" They both shouted in unison as they spun and charged downwards. They crashed into the boosters, separating them from the ship. Metal and debris along with all the jet boosters fell down to the battle field.

Nefarious stumbled as the ship shook violently and the beam dissipated. "Look's like that's my cue!" He said turning and running towards the  cockpit's controls. "No you don't!" Ratchet and (Y/n) shouted in unison. Ratchet threw his axe and (Y/n) launched his spear towards the console. Both weapons were faster than the robot and the control's blew up, knocking Nefarious backward and dislodging the cockpit from the ship. The two lombax's ran and tackled the robot from behind, jumping into the air out of the cumbling ship as it lost altitude. Nefarious charged up his weapon again.

"Clawsha!" "Done!" Two voices shouted. A ball and chain suddenly rose up and slammed the gun out of Nefarious' hands, disarming him. "What?!" He questioned in disbelief. Metal and glass flew off the gun as it was damaged. Clawsha was below them and already her ball and chain again, swinging something up into the air. It was Cora holding out her modified combuster. She aimed and fired, the resulting laser piercing through the gun and burning it to ashes. "NO!" Nefarious shouted as he watched his greatest creation fade away before his eyes. Theta grabbed the two and teleported them away. Nefarious turned his body and began trying to push the Lombaxes away as they held on for dear life, falling towards the ground. "Elaris, Clank, now!" (Y/n) shouted. "Target confirmed. Fire at will." Clank said as he began spewing his fire in front of Elaris' laser cannon and she fired. The laser turned red and began spewing flames as it shot through the airship. The laser dissipated and the airship blew up into several large pieces, all of them falling down towards the battlefield.

Theta teleported towards the trio and grabbed onto them, teleporting away back onto the Ranger's airship. The three fell to the ground as Theta disappeared again. Everyone was there, safely aboard the ship near the airlock. "Now let's get out of here!" Delta said as he turned the airship away from the site of battle and back towards the city. The remaining pieces of Nefarious' warship crashed into warbot army below and an explosion of flame and gas overtook the robots. The recoil pushed the airship forward, almost knocking everyone off balance. Ratchet and (Y/n) groaned.

Kappa and Brax ran towards them and helped them to their feet. "Are you two alright? Are you injured?" Kappa asked. "It's alright, we're fine." Ratchet said leaning onto Kappa's shoulder. (Y/n) leaned onto Brax's shoulder. "Yeah, other than singed, we're perfectly okay to start running a marathon." (Y/n) said sarcastically. "You lousy, insolent, stupid, entitled, rotten little--!" Donk. Nefarious was slammed onto the ground, his systems temporarily disabled. They all looked at Cora. "What? His voice was annoying me." She said defensively. "Not that it did anything to save the books rating. Not to mention the readers probably don't care if he says something bad or not." Ratchet whispered. "Who are you talking to?" Brax asked, raising a brow at Ratchet.

"Wait, where's Theta?" Kappa asked. Theta suddenly appeared at the end of the room. "Right here." He said as he walked towards them. Carrying four large pieces of metal. He set them down and everyone saw that Ratchet and (Y/n)'s weapons had been snapped in half, presumably from the explosion they caused. "Sorry guys. I saved what I could." Theta said looking down. "Don't worry, it's more than we could've asked for. Besides, we could always fix them, right?" Ratchet asked. Kappa nodded, "So long as you don't go breaking it again." He said smirking at the yellow lombax. Theta smiled. "Everyone fasten your seatbelts, next stop, back to the city." Delta said over the intercom. "Please sit down and rest you two." Clank said in a concerned tone. "Yeah, we can't have you dying from exhaustion on the way back to the city now, can we?" Elaris asked. Everyone shook their heads in amusement. "You two are some lucky lombax's you know that?" Omega asked over the comms. "Omega? Where have you been?" (Y/n) asked. "I stayed behind to defend the city. Now fet back here so I can give you some medals." He teased. The group lauhed as the ship sped off towards the city, leaving the burning part of the forest behind.

"Finally, a break."
