"Luxor's POV"

"Jade come back here!" "Try and catch me!" I groaned chasing the Lynxette in the jungle,we were on patrol and she just ran off wanting to play a game...aggh!Why does she have to get on my nerves?! I gasped stopping this close from hitting a tree and breathed a sigh in relief. My ears perked at hearing Jade laughed as she climbed on a giant tree and I groaned.
"Jade's POV"

I sat on one of the bigger branches licking the back of my hand and fixing up my hair a little, Luxor is such a serious Cazar just like his sister Sasha although he can be fun and a daredevil plus I find him cute when I aggravate him."Pant...pant...Jade...pant" I turned around almost bursting with laughter when seeing am exhausted Cazar climbing up the tree and lying down on the branch we were both sitting, he put up a finger as a way to give him a minute before he finally got his breath back " Ok I caught up with you now can we get back to patrol please?" "Hmm let me think....no"
"Luxor's POV"

"No?!What do you mean no?!I CLIMB UP A HUGE TREE TO THE TOP TO REACH YOU!" I yelled completely mad about this, Jade stood up on her feet swinging her tail in one hand " I said try and catch me down there so you have to catch me not corner me"  I got back up, activated my hover boots and charged at her.

I smirked thinking I got this but at the last minute she leaped up on to an upper branch, my eyes widen when I got to close to the edge. I tried to halt my hover boots but I wound up falling off the branch, luckily I used my goo grappling hook to latch on the branch "Phew. I mean it that cat will lose all her nine lives" I grumbled while pulling myself up, I landed on the branch reaching to the more stable part that won't break " If you wanna find me I'll be up here" Jade told me as she scurried in the leaves of the tree while I just sighed...this is gonna be awhile.
"Third Person's POV"

Luxor spent nearly the whole day on the tree waiting for the Lynxette to come down and at least call it quits, sometimes she would come over and play a few tricks before disappearing in the leaves and leaving the Cazar frustrated.

Deep down Luxor cared for Jade and didn't want to leave her alone so he just rested on the branch but unknown to him the feline would spy on him from the leaves watching him either playing with his equipment or admiring the view, Jade found herself checking on him after every 2 minutes seeing what he would do or if he bothered to try and catch her. Daytime became sundown while Luxor admired the view laying on his back and his arms behind his head. His ears perked when hearing some rustling and quickly stood up watching what might jump out,finally Jade came out landing on the branch.
"Jade's POV"

I stared at him with curiosity while he just stared at me and I can tell he wasn't happy since we spent the whole patrol on a tree, I tossed him a fruit and he stared at me wanting an answer, I sighed seeing he wasn't gonna bother chasing me anymore " Ok let's get back the village" "Finally.Now come on" he told me playing with the fruit but I felt hurt he didn't even bother to admit it was fun,my ears fell in sadness but they perked up when hearing a cracking noise and my eyes instantly widen realizing what it was...uh oh.
"Luxor's POV"

"AAAAAAAH!" I quickly turn around and saw that...the branch snapped and Jade was gone! "JADE!" I got over to the edge just in time to see her fall "LUXOR!" I instantly shot my goo grapple hook at her, it wrapped around her waist but she wound up hitting another branch on her back "No!" I lost grip on the hook and she fell on the ground ,I quickly jumped off the tree from branch to branch begging in my head that Jade wasn't hurt or killed. How could I've been so stupid?! I turn my head one second and she gets hurt! Argh! I shouldn't have acted so negative to her. I finally got to the ground and rushed towards Jade.
"Third Person's POV"

Luxor turned Jade on her back seeing her eyes closed, he held the Lynxette in his arms his terrified face scanned her body. She was all scratched up everywhere parts of her clothing torn and some leaves stuck to her hair, the Cazar felt his eyes watered and feeling guilty for this happening to her. "Jade please. Say something, anything. P-please!" He stuttered trying not to let any tears fall, he hugged her quietly sniffing on losing her "Cough!Cough!"
"Jade's POV"

Ugh. My back hurts so much! I should've have known that a small branch wouldn't hold, I took a deep breath but I started coughing since my back hurts. My mind was a little blurry but it cleared up and...Luxor?He was staring at me wide eye mouth gaping and I realize I was in his arms, I looked at myself and realized I was a mess "Luxo.." "Jade!" He hugged me tight but that was hurting me"Luxor...my back...it hurts" "Oh sorry" he stopped our hugged and I blushed when he removed the leaves off my hair. He stared at me smiling " I thought you were gone" "Come on haven't you heard a cat has nine lives?" He laughed when I said that and I smiled seeing he wasn't being so serious anymore.
"Third Person's POV"

Luxor helped Jade stand up but once she got back on her feet, she felt strong pain on her right leg and fell  luckily her friend caught her " Jade are you ok?" "My right leg hurts I think it's sprained" "Come on" Jade blushed mad when Luxor swept her off her feet and walked back to the village holding her, Jade stared at him seeing a sweet and kind side in him it made her feel all warm inside "Luxor. Listen I'm sorry I ticked you off you didn't deserve that" 'I'm sorry I couldn't save you in time. Do you know how close you were on being killed?" Jade stared at him seeing how worried he was " On the bright side you finally caught me" she smiled nervously hoping he wouldn't groan or anything " Yeah I finally did" he smiled at her making Jade feel more attracted.
"Luxor's POV"

My eyes blinked when Jade snuggled her head on my chest, I blushed when she purred before falling asleep.I felt my face soften and I smiled at her,if I'm correct I think I got feelings for Jade. I held her close to me as we kept heading our way to the village.
