In the Equestrian jewel mine, three girls, three mutant turtles and one dragon were working all day to get the jewels. The jewel mine once belonged to the diamond dogs, but they abandoned it when they couldn't find any jewels. If they dug ten more feet, they would've found them. But their loss is the couples' and dragon's gain, especially since they get to dig for it, and either keeping them for themselves or selling them to make money in order to buy food and supplies for themselves.

The two girls working with the axe are named Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer, two mutant turtles, one wears a red mask and the other wears an orange mask, are helping them are named Raphael and Michelangelo, Sunset and Pinkie's boyfriends.

The turtle with a blue mask named Leonardo hauls the jewels, and lightly pushes them out of the kart down below where a girl named Twilight Sparkle, his girlfriend examines them. If the jewel is real, she puts them in one of the bags, and if it's not, she tosses them to a dragon, who they befriended, named Spike who throws the fake jewels away.

Twilight Sparkle picked up a diamond and tapped on it. It was a real diamond, so she tossed it into a bag of diamonds. She then picked up a ruby and tapped it. It was hollow, so she tossed it to Spike, who swept all the fake jewels, and tossed them away.

After Spike finished, he went over to Twilight Sparkle who was busy examining an emerald. He looked at two diamonds, smiled, and placed them on his eyes. "Hey, Twilight!" Spike said as he taps her arm. "What is it, Spike?" Twilight Sparkle asked as she turned to see Spike wearing the diamonds like glasses. "Pretty cool, huh?" Spike asked. Twilight Sparkle just playfully shook her head, knocked the diamonds off of Spike, and said, "Spike, those diamonds are not for wearing." Spike chuckled nervously, and said "Sorry, Twilight."

Suddenly, the clock struck five, meaning that it was time for them to go back to their cottage in the Everfree Forest. "Ok, guys!" Twilight Sparkle called out, getting everyone's attention. "It's time to head back home!" "Ok!" The others said at the same time. They grabbed their bags full of jewels and placed them in the vault. After the bags were placed in there, Spike closed the vault door, and locked it with a key, they then began to form a single line. Twilight Sparkle was first, Leonardo was second, Sunset Shimmer was third, Raphael was fourth, Pinkie Pie was fifth, Michelangelo was sixth, and Spike was last. Once the line was formed, they began to walk home.
