(The space between the universes, "Attenborough" Mines.)

Despite what many would think, the void that fills the rest of the Multiverse isn't just a void devoid of anything. In fact, Raptor Machina discovered various objects of interest that live in that void, from pieces of floating junk from entire exoplanets. The military faction speculates that these thing's respective universe had something happen to them, and as such, they float in the pitch black between the worlds.

As a group able to hop through the Multiverse, they realized they struck more than gold, and with the help of the Harpoon-Class Mining ships they started building, Bird and his faction colonized a Exoplanet full of minerals from both other universes and completely original to the planet. Soon after, the "Attenborough Mines" were established to mine theprecious resources from the exoplanet.

3 days after Raptor Machina returned to the Date a Live Universe for business, a strange spacecraft began heading towards the exoplanet. It seemed that it transported a single thing, as it seemed too small to hold too much cargo compared to other ships. The mysterious pilot of the craft spoke up, talking to a also unidentified person..

???: "Alright, I'll repeat our objective, Angel Blood. We're getting close to a mining facility operated by a military group. Has no data file yet, and from what I'm looking, they've recently started operations."

???: "As such, we could acquire their mine to set up our Mercenary operations. Get ready, Angel Blood."

The hangar gates underneath the spacecraft open up, lowering down a giant mech piloted by Angel Blood, an independent mercenary that doesn't talk a lot. Resembling Line Ark's White Glint, his middleweight mecha is primarily colored in gold, with white as the secondary color. Dark red details could be seen on the machine, and its visor and lights glowed a bright red color to give it a menacing feel.

Angel Blood: "..And the troops?"

???: "Deal with them in any way you'd like."

With a Semi-Auto Rifle on its left hand and a Plasma Blade on its right hand, The unidentified female operator released the machinery that held the mecha, letting it fall onto the exoplanet. Angel Blood activated the Overboost function, revealing a insane amount of thrusters hidden inside the middleweight mech.

 As the boosters finished charging up, Angel Blood's mech immediately propelled itself at breakneck speeds, ejecting blue flames from the thrusters. At such speed, he could only be witnessed as golden blur as he made landfall at the Attenborough Mines, catching the immediate attention of the workers and Secruity forces, with the latter consisting of Ogre Pattern Combat Mechs. Alarms blared to get the workers hidden in bunkers for safety.

Guard #1: "This is a warning for you trespasser. Whatever you want, you are not allowed to get closer to the facility. Turn back, now."

However, Angel Blood was exactly prepared for that. Raising up the 300mm Energy Cannon and the Tribarrel Chaingun on his machine's shoulders, the mercenary bursted forward, it's speed too fast for the Ogre Pattern Mech pilots.

Guard #1: "W-What the-"

With a single kick, the Guard was destroyed alongside his machine, prompting for the other Secruity guards to go on the defensive, despite being completely outclassed. One of them sent a message to the Nemesis before jumping into battle, hoping it reaches Bird and the Crew.

(Tengu City, Temporary Construction Site)

Back at the Date a Live Universe, Raptor Machina has traded some rare metals to the Japanese Government, who gave them their new vehicles and equipment in return. The first was the HBT-25 Caiman, the replacement for the CATAPHRACT tank. The others were the FO-12 Thunder Kite Multi-Role Fighter Jet, and last but not least, the KOLID Pattern of Mechanical Sub-Alterns.

Ryouko and her AST squad presented them the first units as well as the specs, blueprints and materials for mass-production. However, Bird received the SOS message mid-meeting, learning about the unknown mech attacking their base. As such, he gave orders for some of his troops to help load the units into the Nemesis while he hurriedly goes for his Mobile Suit.

Fortunately, the message also said that they're currently trying to prevent the intruder from getting into the Mines, which gives Bird enough time to arrive before the facility itself is attacked. Entering the Hangar Bay for machines about 10 meters tall or higher, Bird reaches for his custom Zaku II High Mobility Type.

Bird: "Let's get this moving."

Closing down the hatch, Bird places the inputs needed to activate the Mobile Suit. The mono-eye on the visor turns on while the mechanisms of the hangar prepare the Zaku once it's ready for deployment.

Bird: "Good. Hopefully I arrive before any harm is done to the mines.." (Pulls out a radio) "Ahem.. Pontiff, prepare the Nemesis' Hyperdrive. You heard the news."

Alidas: (Replying through their communications system) "I did. Fortunately, you will arrive just in time. I've done some simulations of the outcomes.."

Bird: "Thanks Pontiff. I'll remain on standby."
