(Midway Atoll - Conquered by Raptor Machina)

3 days passed after Raptor Machina took over the Midway Islands, changing the communication lines to their own, and adding new structures to the island. As the counter-measure, the shipgirls here will remain on the islands to prevent Azur Lane from sending stronger ships. Sure, they have equally or if not stronger machines, but it doesn't make the experience of having shells up your ass any better. Despite the girl's concerns and worries, their treatment was the same as their troops instead of the torture many were thinking. Eventually, they established new bonds with the organization, although they still know that they are against both them and the Sirens. 

Outside, Cleveland is seen inspecting a few Ogre Mk3 models while the pilots watch in amusement. Other shipgirls were around, learning about Raptor Machina who in return is learning about them and this world.

Cleveland: "Woah.. They're like the ones I've seen in animes!"

RM Pilot: (chuckles) "Sometimes, it's reality for other universes."

Cleveland: "Can you tell me more about it?"

RM Pilot: "For Starters, it's the Ogre Mk3 model, which serves as our primary mass-production mech."

There was nothing much going outside. Just Raptor Machina's soldiers showing their stuff to the Kansen. It seems that any trauma from the raid was also gone, at least. Inside the facilities themselves, aircraft were being placed inside the hangars while Aldia watches from, above. Bird was also nearby, checking on his Zaku and Hygogg.

Bird: "..Hey, Aldia. How are our Odin-class Battleships?"

Aldia: "Doing great, and so are the Replikas. I've been also 'acquiring' som craft data for ourselves."

Bird: "Heh, good to hear. What tech are you stealin'?"

Aldia: "Aircraft."

Both of them chuckled afterwards. But, Aldia then changed his tone to advise Bird about something important. Unknown hostiles have been attacking some smaller outposts, with a strange focus on their Zakus. Bird's first suspicion was the Earth Federation, but they don't know how to travel between universes from what he knows. This is going to be troubling.

Bird: "Unless Earth Federation troops found an anomaly or something, were the only other foreign group here aside from the Sirens. Well then, order one of the bases to leave a Zaku II Fulcrum there as bait. Tell the soldiers to record whatever shows up."

Aldia: "Affirmative."

Bird: "Alright.." (sighs) "I'll stay here for now, alongside Angel Blood."

(Unnamed Archipielago - Resource Base #3)

Among one of the islands, a resource facility was stationed there, guarded by a few of their troops and vehicles. Regarding the infantry, it was compromised of KOLID Sub-Alterns and Cybertronian Troops. The latter appeared to all resemble Transit, but were differentiated by their varying alt-modes and body parts.

One of the sub-alterns decides to engage in a conversation with one of the cybertronians. After all, they had nothing better to do yet.

KOLID: "..So, how was Cybertron like?"

Cybertronian: "It was beautiful, I'll tell you that. My memory before the war isn't that great."

KOLID: "From what your peers have said, it surely was that way."

However, the cybertronian's demeanor changed. Looking at the of the forest surrounding them, his right hand morphed into a cannon, firing a single blast at three targets behind the trees.

A pink beam tore through their Spark Chamber before they could make any more moves. The three machines then came out of hiding, revealing themselves. It was the Gundam Ez8, accompanied by two Ground Type Gundams.

The Ez8 charged forward, switching the beam rifle for the machine gun. From the inside of his cockpit, Shiro Amada noticed that their technology was quite different from Zeon, but he dismissed it as new weapons that were developed just now. Karen and Sanders engaged their fair share of KOLIDs and Cybertronians. Three of those transformed into their Tank alt-modes, engaging the Gundams from a mid-range distance. Shiro decided to deal with them first, moving in and gunning one down before coming after the other.

Although the Cybertronians were difficult, the pilots had the advantage of catching them off-guard. One of them decided to scan the three Gundams, acquiring their data and specs in mere seconds before transforming and driving away. With about 2 enemies left, the 08th MS Team were able to finish off those stragglers.

The Transformer that got away immediately contacted Aldia, warning him about the attackers and sharing his findings.

Cybertronian 2: "M-Mr. Pontiff, we saw the attackers! I deeply apologize for the failure of our comra-"

Alida: "It's acceptable. They must have taken you all by surprise."

Cybertronian 2: "..If I may, I have something important to show you."

From the Nemesis' bridge, Aldia received the blueprints and specifications of the Gundam Ground Types and the Ez8. Bird's speculation was not far off. Amused, the AI carefully reviewed each part of the information, before giving an answer.

Aldia: "Interesting.. their qualities make them cheap and suitable for mass-production. I'll tell Bird this instant."
