Chapter 2: Talking To Justin Just Got Weirder

I can deal with the first half of this. It's not too bad.

But then Justin says "don't yell, you'll attract attention." I'm just?? Are you TRYING to be hella creepy, dude?

Also, Kaitlyn says "yep" and it's hard for me to imagine an angry person saying that lmao

Natalie is over here being the concerned friend because she thought Kaitlyn had just now gotten the sex talk 😂😂

Okay, let me address this: I don't think 12-year-old me was homophobic. I didn't have any reason to be, so I don't think that's what I was trying to get across when Kaitlyn replies "ew" to "it is a guy, right?" I think that was just my way of letting you know that she's straight. I just did a poor job of it. I'm sorry.

This chapter would've been a whole lot shorter if she'd just told Kiara before school, and she went ahead and told Natalie.

I'm pretty sure there are various things in this story I pulled from random Quizilla stories. I think an amusement park date is one of them.

We went from a very vaguely written date to Justin being creepy by bringing Kaitlyn to his house and demanding she get on the bed.

One of the things about this story is that Kaitlyn wrote a lot of Justin's songs, but nobody really knows.

YOU LITERALLY NEVER HUNG OUT WITH HIM AS A KID; ONLY ETHAN DID, YOU JUST WENT UPSTAIRS AND IGNORED HIM.

THAT MAKES NO SENSE

Honestly, the best part of this is her realizing she didn't do her homework, then just not caring because she doesn't need that negativity in her life.

I fucking ended this chapter with "This is going to be a great day!" 😂 I either don't write anything else about this day OR it's not a good day at all.

Finally: according to that A/N at the bottom, I came up with a new date idea, but didn't bother editing the previous chapter.
