Time for another rant.  Exciting, right?

Okay, so I'm going to be talking about WWE fanfics, but not certain ones or anything, so please don't think I'm talking about you specifically.

So the two main fanfic sites I'm on are FanFiction and Wattpad, and this is what I've noticed: there are a lot of Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose fanfics.

While I'm sure most of these fanfics are well-written and great, I don't want to read a Dean or Roman fanfic.  Honestly, I'd like to read a Seth fanfic, but he's not as popular, I guess.

And when it comes to NXT fanfics, most of them are Finn Balor/OC or Finn/Some random Diva.  It's like he's the only NXT Superstar there is or something.  In a close second, there's also Sami Zayn, but there's much more Finn than Sami fics.

I get if you want to write about your favorite wrestler.  That's why I'm writing my Seth Rollins story.  But it's not as interesting if all of your stories are about Dean Ambrose because it gets repetitive.  Maybe write about a wrestler you like, but don't necessarily love.  That's why I wrote my Zack Ryder and Wade Barrett stories.  I've seen a few Barrett stories that are really good, but there's barely any Zack fics at all!

I'm not saying to stop writing Dean and Roman fics, but mix it up a bit!  That story you're thinking about writing?  Instead of having your OC fall in love with Dean Ambrose, maybe have her fall in love with Ryback or Damien Sandow (is that even his name anymore? xD). 

I don't even read any Dean or Roman fics anymore because I think there's too many of them and they're overrated.  I don't even like Ryback, but I'd rather read a story about him than another Dean story.

I don't watch NXT, but I'm sure there's other superstars besides Finn Balor and Sami Zayn!  Write about someone else!  Maybe write a story about the guy Zack Ryder is always posting pictures with on Instagram.  He seems cool.

If you write a Dean/Roman/Finn/Sami fic, I'm not saying your story sucks because I probably haven't read it. xD But maybe next time you write a new fic, choose a lesser used superstar (or Diva, because that'd be pretty cool!).

So yeah.  Those guys are cool, but try writing about someone else.
