[Updated] Info on Me!
So, in the first chapter of this book, I wrote a little about me so you guys could get to know me. Well, I'm currently trying to write a new chapter of Cracked, but it's not going as planned, so I'm just going to write this instead!
First, I'm currently a freshman in college. I'm majoring in social studies, with a minor in teaching & learning (education, pretty much). I'm wanting to teach history! I'm also planning on adding a theatre minor my sophomore year!
I haven't been to any new concerts recently, but in September, my brother and I went and saw SmackDown! (While bands don't come to Arkansas very much, WWE comes about 1-2 times a year, so shoutout to WWE for being awesome!) It was great! When they filmed Main Event, the first match was Rusev vs. Jack Swagger, and there were about five "USA!" chants. We couldn't see the big screen, but we could see the ring and such. There were these two little kids sitting behind us - a boy and a girl. The boy obviously watched wrestling, but the girl - his sister, I'm pretty sure - had never watched it before, so she was always asking him questions. She was convinced that Kalisto and Sin Cara were bleeding under their masks, though, so that was kind of disturbing.
(I went to SmackDown the day that Nikki and Brie had their Bellabration to celebrate Nikki being the longest-reigning champ, just so you know.)
There was also a dark match that included the tag team of Heath Slater and Brad Maddox. I freaked out because I've missed Brad Maddox so much, and I'm pretty sure I annoyed my brother. And there was this kid sitting next to us who was convinced that Sting was hiding under the ring. It was weird, and, of course, Sting was NOT under the ring.
Moving on from wrestling, I'm into singing and theatre. I did choir all through school, but I decided to take a break, so I'm not currently in a college choir or anything. I'm a soprano! I got into theatre and acting the summer between 9th and 10th grade when my grandma signed me and my sister up for a theatre camp. At this camp, we basically rehearsed and performed a play, as well as helped design some things for the set. We also did some acting exercises and improv, as well. I ended up doing it for three years. (It was a youth theatre camp, so the summer after your senior year of high school is the last year you can do it.) I eventually signed up for the drama classes in high school (you could take Drama I - III, but I started late, so I only took I and II.) My senior year of high school, my school had auditions for Alice in Wonderland, which I auditioned for. I got to be a part of the Red Queen's deck of cards. (The Red Queen is just the Queen of Hearts. The play was based heavily on the books, not the movies.) It was so much fun! I also auditioned for the musical, but I ended up quitting because everything was too chaotic. (Everyone who auditioned got a part, and the teacher who directs the musicals is not the same one who directs the regular plays. I didn't like how he let everything get out of control.)
I also was on the quiz bowl team my junior and senior years of high school. Not much happened junior year, but senior year we won the state championship, and went on to the national championship in New Orleans. We didn't win, but it was a lot of fun and I'm glad I went with everyone.
So in the first chapter, I said my favorite episode of Supernatural was one from season 6 called "Weekend at Bobby's." I just really love Bobby Singer, tbh. Well, now I have two favorite episodes: that one, and one from season 10 (that I just started last week) called "Fan Fiction." It's exactly what it sounds like.
Okay, the rest of this chapter is just me letting you know things I'm doing on Wattpad.
First of all, I am no longer writing Carry On Wayward Son. It got a few votes, no comments, and I felt like no one was really into it. Now, I am writing a new story called Irresistible. It's about Xavier Woods, who is hella awesome, so go check it out! I made a chapter of this book called "Update Schedule" which was before I wrote this new fic. So, replace Carry On Wayward Son with Irresistible. It'll be updated after Hello Brooklyn.
Okie doke, that's it for this chapter! I have two personal stories I could possibly tell you if you're interested:
1.) The time Cody Rhodes smiled at me once (it's not too long, but I legit freaked out)
2.) The time I almost met a famous person (if you're really into American Idol or you live in my city, you'll know who he is. Other than that, you may have heard his songs once or twice.)
So, if you'd like to hear one (or both) of these stories, leave a comment letting me know! If not, I'll just go back to posting rants. :)
